Jeff came out to give an extimate and said he could do the door opener immediately as he had one one the truck... so since I would have had to make another appointment, I decided to let him install it. The only drawback was he did not mention the possible discounts and in my infinite wisdom, I forgot to ask if there were any.The opener is now nearly silent and the door glides up and down smoothly.... a major improvement to the garage!

I was able to know who the technician was and felt comfortable during the visit. Paul did an excellent job explaining the ins and outs of my garage door and pointed out what I need to watch for. I’ve been using Plano Overhead Door since we built our house, and we will definitely continue to use this wonderful company in the future. Today about 3:00 I discovered that my garage door was no longer working. Yikes! We planned to leave town tomorrow. He was right on time and completed the repair and lubed and tuned up the door quickly and efficiently. A different tech came later the same day to install an opener for my single overhead door. Jarrod was my technician and he was able to come earlier than the original time. He was great and explained everything to me and gave me my options. We were hoping a new circuit board would be the answer but the unit is 20 years old so we had to get a new unit. The new unit will do so much more than the old unit and everything will be much easier. We have a garage exterior keypad which will be much easier to program should the need arise. While pulling into our garage, a car accidentally ran into and displaced the outside wood trim along the garage door at our house. The trim was cracked and bent outward, and I was not sure who to call or how to fix it. I did some internet research and found Plano Overhead Garage Door and gave them a call. The technician Tran was excellent - comprehensive, informative, courteous and professional.He repaired the door, replaced a key hinge, got it to working smoothly, spray ed WD-40 to lubricate all joints. He arrived at the specified time, did the work and left in one hour. Since the home is older, he provided information on what I needed to be aware of and estimates of cost. I give him and the company my highest recommendation.

Donny texted me to let me know was on his way and arrived in timeframe I was told when made appointment. He did not want to bring all his tools through the house so he got the garage open so he did not have too. He was very nice and answered all my questions and let me know what he was doing. Not only did he replace the springs which was why I called him out but he also aligned door and tracks, lubed all the rollers and ensured ALL the bolts were tight on the door, and track. Finally he made sure opener was adjusted and working properly. I have had springs replaced a couple of times but no one ever did all the checks, lubes and adjustments Donny did. Great service I will definitely use them again.

Started the morning with the garage door coming off the track (in the open position) as I was about to head to work. The door wouldn’t go back down, so this became an immediate security issue for my house.I called Plano Overhead and they got me an appointment at 11am. The technician called and was able to come earlier, which was even better. He was able to re-adjust the door and didn’t require any additional parts.By 11:30am, my garage door was working again and I could get back to my day. Fantastic experience all the way around. Paul, the technician, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Scheduling was easy and they came quickly with a 30 min arrival window. They also texted with with a picture of the technician and information about him before his arrival. I definitely will use them again.

Josh absolutely knocked it out of the park on the install of my new Jackshaft door opener. The guy paid attention to every detail. It shows how much he cared about his installs. You dont even see most of the wiring that needed to be put in. Of what you DO see, its meticulously managed in such a way that its actually aesthetically pleasing. Im thrilled with the over all result. Its just amazing how good of a job he did.

Had a new door installed a year or so ago and it was great, they were professional and quick, garage opener finally went out and they came out today and replaced it. Price quote was exact, they again were quick and professional. Went over new opener with us and programmed all remotes. Can’t say enough good things about Plano Overhead Garage Doors!

This company has matched a team of well trained professionals that understand the urgency that most calls have, with a need for timely response. In past years I’ve called on them and the response, was hourly, not the next day or two. Even, on occasion, the Phone Receptionist has solved my problem without even sending out a Tech. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else and you shouldn’t either.

Jacob sent a text when he was on his way to our home. We were able to track where he was by using a link in his text message. He arrived just shortly before the scheduled time, which is what we hoped for. Jacob then fixed our garage door issue in a timely manner. He was professional and very nice. We were very impressed with Jacob from start to finish! I also want to add that we have had always had great experiences with Plano Overhead Garage Door. We have had them replace a door and do service work at another home in the past as well.

Josh was prompt, friendly & efficient. Took an hour tops to replace the springs & wheels for the track. Very pleased with his work. My door is so much quieter than before. Ill continue to use Plano Overhead & Garage Door for all my garage door needs.
