I bought a Chamberlain machine from Costco on sale. It was fine for 4 years and began to malfunction. Alex came out 3 times and did what he could. Then the owner (Eddie) came out personally 3 times and replaced every major component himself, still malfunctioned. Finally, Chamberlain sent me a brand new unit for free and Omar did the installation. a month and half later all is well with my garage. Metro was extremely fair with labor charges.

Very professional, very honest, great price, quality work, and even went above and beyond what was expected. Initially had a panel replaced (first of all most places I called would not just replace the panel and wanted to charge me for a whole new door), while working on the door he notices some wiring was off and remote was damaged, he replaced the remote and fixed the wiring issue for free, he did not have to take the time to do that. Finally he not only answered my questions but again took the time to give me all my options and the pros and cons. I will be working with them moving forward on all my garage door needs.

I was initially unhappy with the fact that I got charged a service fee just for a technician to come unplug/replug the garage door opener only to tell me I need a new one. I had come to the same conclusion myself the night before, I was hoping they would try more to fix it. However Eddie reached out to me the next day and offered to make it right. You can stop your search for someone to fix your garage door now - you found them.I called another company first (Welborn) and they offered to replace my garage door springs for $700 and gave me a whole sales pitch. I gave Metro a call, and they did it for $300 and were at my house within 2 hours. Jeff was my technician and he was extremely friendly, honest, and did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. No nonsense - just good and fair service.

Eddie with Metro is fantastic. I got home after work and after attempting to shut my garage door it went off track and started making a loud crashing sound. I tried fixing it myself but the cable on one side was off track and worn. We needed to fix our garage door as the door went off the rail somehow, we called metro garage door and Simon arrived, very friendly guy, very knowledgeable and professional, the whole thing got fixed in 30 minutes and the price was very fair, we even had a little chat when the job was done. I had a bad logic board (I had already diagnosed the issue as such). They came out quickly (yay), verified the problem and told me the part would be ~ $250 (not counting labor). He gave me the part number (yay - as not know what the part number was was my primary issue) and I quickly searched for it and found it was $69 direct from LiftMaster. I told them I would handle it myself. The technician was very professional and even offered to talk me through it if I had any issues.So, they are helpful, quick and professional but they mark up their parts like its a hotel minibar.

So I call Metro based on reviews on Yelp and Google. I speak with Eddie and told its $29 service call and that its applied to any repairs made if i chose to do the repairs. Eddie says i will be there tomorrow at 9a. the next day I get a call from Simon what sounds like a kid that he is on his way. Shows up at 9:10a - not a problem. I stay out in the garage the whole time to see what is actually done. He presses a couple buttons and lifts door up and down and tells me its the motor and that is not large enough to lift the door its been lifting for the last 6+ months. I had new garage door openers installed. So now i get a bill for $45. I said Eddie told me its $29. Simon tells me its $29 plus the diagnostics for a total of $45. I was not given any kind of proof that its a motor issues; just an opinion. Eddie who is probably the owner never showed up. So I paid $45 to learn what i already knew....the garage door is not working properly. What a joke!

Eddie called within minutes of requesting a quote and explained what all would be done and gave a max estimate. He showed up on time and installed my garage door opener pefectly. The work was great, he was prodessional and the cost was what he quoted. I will definitely use them again. A++
