I have been here many times over the years and have always found them to be helpful and friendly. This place is for professional HVAC, electrical, and plumbing supplies. Not the the kind found at Home Depot and Lowes, but installer supplies. If your first floor AC has blown a capacitor, and you are quite familiar with the installation procedures, then this place is for you.The pros know that if you need that part, then you will have luck at Locke to find it in stock.

First visit today. Extremely polite, helpful. They went and got everything I needed for me. A plumber spoke with me and showed me what to do. The guys are yelling to each other a lot, but it didnt bother me at all. I like the atmosphere it gives to the place. I do agree they should be wearing/requiring masks. But they were great. See you in 6 months after we all get our vaccine shots.

I dont like giving negative feedback, however, believe this is deserved. Came to get a PRV, was told to look online. Wanted to get a pipe extension, was told to buy a bucket from Lowes to cut it into the shape/size I need it. Are you kidding me, this is a plumbing supply store.Not a single employee had their mask on!!!!

This place is Fantastic. Ive been here multiple times to the AC store. Today I visited the Plumbing side to get water heaters. Outstanding service every time. This is the place to buy AC and Plumbing stuff.

Trash experience as always. Wont stay open 11 min late. Probably why no one goes there anymore.

L use Locke a lot for my day job. Being a licensed plumber you need good Supply Companies.

I went into the location in Plano to get under counter lighting. Brandon helped me. He was very efficient. He greeted me when I walked in and helped me right away. I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to it. I have other jobs to do and will definitely go back to see Brandon for help with what I need in the future.

Thank goodness Locke was open on Saturday morning. We desperately needed a transformer to repair our A/C unit with temperatures on the rise. They had the part in stock and it was reasonably priced. We recommend Locke for knowledgeable associates and quality products.

Check prices of your item from online competitors then decide if worth it. $125 for an $80 part was my last experience... looking for new local supply house. Updated review as other desks (plumbing) have been excellent.

Terrible!! Buyers beware. I should have read the flood of negative replies here first!I experienced HVAC condenser trouble on Saturday and suspected the capacitor. Went and bought one from Locke for 2.5 times the online price, because it was weekend and I was in a pinch. Hooked it up for no longer than 5 minutes just to discover that it wasnt the problem (it turned out to be a wiring issue in the end). Tried to return the cap as soon as I could on Monday, just to be denied by the salesman who cited company policy...Neither was I informed of their non-return policy at the time of purchase, nor was it printed or referred to anywhere on their Invoice. I successfully returned items there in the past, but apparently it works differently for capacitors. I dont mind that, but they should have told me about it before I bought an $18 cap for $52 from them!Also, when I was at their shop on Saturday one of their salesmen was sitting on one of the bar stools. In fact, he leaned backwards against the counter top so far as if on holiday on a beach somewhere in Hawaii! He looked me straight in the eye and didnt bother once to ask if he could help me find anything (which turned out to be quite a mission with virtually all isles blocked by boxes and all kinds of materials laying around on the floor)...I have to be extremely desperate to ever do business there again.

Good service and despite the higher prices, Locke is willing to sell to the public, something I dont see often from other wholesalers.Not much commercial or refrigeration parts, just residential AC and Allied air equipment.

Maybe management has read some of the negative reviews and made changes, but I made my first visit today for an a/c condenser fan motor. Being a homeowner and not a contractor Im usually disappointed in the level of customer service shown to the public. Not today. There was a gentleman, who I think was named Lindsay, who not only answered all of my questions, was extremely friendly, and even offered to help carry my things to my car. As an added bonus, the motor that I bought was LESS than what I could find online. Not only will I be back, but will recommend Lockes to my friends and family. Thank you for a great experience.

Staff was super nice. Helped me out and let me use a tool of theirs so i didnt have to buy one to use 1 time. They will have my business from now on. They were very helpful with everything i asked.

Might have a good selection but very poor customer service. According to them not much difference between 1/2 and a 5/8. Their best solution - call a plumber. Went to Beeco Plumbing - solution within 3 minutes!!

Stopped in to get parts for a 1986 valley shower knob. Unfortunately Valley company went out of business and nobody carries the parts. But they did direct me to another story that carries some of the parts. I did find the part online. But they did get me the actual part numbers so I could find it.

They have all the supplies to maintain your hvac system. Very friendly folks!

Think the ladies name was Erica (sorry if misspelled) people like her restore faith in humanity. Supervisor on the other hand, he can take a long walk off a short pier. Know what you are selling and talking about, thats what the job of a supervisor is. Just because a few numbers match up doesnt meant it will fit and/or work. 5 stars for her but 1 star for the douchecanoe and his idea of service.

Great knowledgeable staff. Great customer service. They are go above and beyond normal customer service.But a special note to the reviewers that like to complain:Reading some of the reviews and people are unhappy with the way the staff treats them. I have never seen them ever treat a customer rudley but you might get that What The Heck Are You Talking About?!?! look. Maybe its because some of you come in there asking questions and have no idea what youre talking about. And its not a Thinging-a-bob or a doohickey. And they cannot carry every part out there. They carry specific brands of parts and thats all. So when you walk out unhappy because they didnt have your part thats when you go to a different company that carries that brand.. And the ones that pay more for not having a license or not being a contractor thats just the way the world is. We worked hard getting our licenses. If you were to call any kind of company theyre going to mark up the part to the price you would pay if you walked in the door if not more.To all your homeowners that want to be mister fix its and save money thats fine. But dont call us when you screw something up because we will charge you more to fix your screw up. If you dont like the part houses then go shop at the box stores. Stood at the counter for about five minutes and was ignored by at least four employees who refused to make eye contact or even acknowledge that I was standing there. People here seem angry and hateful. My money is better spent elsewhere.

This place is for contractors only. You have to have an account with them before you can buy. They are very grumpy people. Just want you to buy stuff, not interested in helping.

Very poor knowledge of their products. Needed a 1/12 motor for my ac unit. The guy behind the counter insisted it was a 1/2. Upon return due to being the wrong product they hesitated on refunding our money back. Nowhere do they have a post about restocking fee.For better customer service and knowledgeable help go to Dallas HVAC Parts on Skillman. Locke is a waste of time.

I went here 2x times to get my AC parts. Both times the counter staff was knowledgeable and made recommendations that saved me $$. They even tested my part for me!

I went to buy 2 capacitors for my A/C condenser, a 7.5MF and a 60MF 440V, I was asked if I had an account with them and I said no, I was shocked when I had to pay $42 for the 60mf capacitor, you can buy those online or other HVAC supply stores for $10-20. They did not even recommend that I could use a one Double 60/7.5 MF capacitor instead of buying two separate :( . Since I was out of cold air and did not have time to go other place I ended up paying $62 for the two capacitors which would have been $20-25 at other places. Too Pricy :(

I agree with all of the negative reviews! My fiancé went in yesterday to buy a fan motor and took the motor with him! They sold him a fan motor and then said no returns, however, the fan motor did not fit our AC unit and then when we had an AC company come out they said that because the manufacturer was Trane that we had to order parts directly from Trane! Funny he didnt mention that but was a royal jerk today when my fiancé went back to return the motor in which he was sold the wrong one. The girl that helped him with the return was super nice but she had to call the guy who sold us the motor and pretty much reamed the girl working there. He told her to make the decision and she honored the return. So, he sold us the wrong motor (when we took the motor in for him to see) and then when we returned it because it wouldnt work he told us to never come back! Oh, dont worry! We WONT be back and as far as Im concerned no one I know will be giving their business there either.
