I am selective in my purchases at the store. I was looking at their pliers searching for a set of slip-joint pliers of higher quality. They have such a large variety of pliers I couldnt see what I wanted. A rep approached and asked if she could help. In less than a second, she removed their higher quality pliers.I also found a precision set of tweezer tipped pliers. I have needed such a thing many times in the past. What a good find.Their mechanic pliers were on sale so grabbed one of those as well.Just one more good trip to Harbor Freight tools.

Very affordable place. Deals are going all the time. I bought a submersible pump 10$ cheaper than Amazon or any other local stores (same brand). The staff will ask you, but remember to check for insurance on your product. It is very cheap but they will replace the item even if there is intentional physical damage to the item

Great knowledgeable staff...a few have been their for more than 15+ years. Never very long wait times and nearly every quality tool there is offered with extended warranty for a fraction of the tools real cost. Stunners honor....Get up in there!

This store is a well thought out store. Store manager is Mike. Harbor Freight has come around throughout the years. I have found that the quality of the tools has increased dramatically. I have found a new love for there Icon tools branded line. I find them to be just as good as my snap-on, mac and Matco tools. The sales associates here seam to know a great deal about the tools you are looking for. This store has a large variety of air tools, air compressors, replacement small engines, generators, hand trucks and so much more. I have been made a believer in these tools. I have also enjoyed the coupons that give me free items with my purchase. If you have been let down in the past I promise this store will not leave you hanging. They are always looking for ways to improve. If you think they could improve in one way or another they are all ears. A++

This store has tons over stuff from automotive tools to home improvement tools to wood working. It also has toys for kiddos and so much more!! I love everything I get there, my favorite right now is the mini table saw. I have done some awesome projects with it and will do more!!!

Didnt have what I wanted . . . yet. Restocking more and quicker would be nice. Probably not their fault though.

But the Pocatello, Idaho,store, while not the closest to me, is where I prefer to go.

Great store it seems to be a little dated but this locations is clean and well organized. Have never seen them out of stock. Shelves are always well stocked, will take time to assist a customer no matter how busy they are which is not very common anyone. On the other hand while assisting that customer the are many more waiting. A extra cashier on every shift would fix that problem.

This is like Toys-R-Us for my husband. We can walk in to harbor freight with the intent to buy ONE item, like a flashlight, and next thing I know there’s suddenly all these other tool things that we just *gotta* have. (Never mind that I didn’t know such tools existed 5 minutes ago, these new gadgets and tools are suddenly the holy grail of toolboxes. Stuff that saves time, makes holes, patches holes, holds stuff up, ties stuff down and gobs more.)Thanks to harbor freight, we have loads of little flashlights of different shapes and sizes, lots of sets of things, tool boxes, a shop swivel chair, pocket knifes, straps of every shape and size and gobs more things.Do not leave your tool-collecting loved one unattended here. You never know what’s going to follow them home.

Good customer service, Ive found tools that I needed here that I couldnt find at Lowes or Home Depot.

Staff is friendly, tools are priced right. Some electrical products are poorly made and the warranty is 90 days so be careful. Had a weed eater that burned out with smoke after 10 minutes of first use. Exchanged it with no problem. Had a car battery charger that quit working after the 3rd use. Exchanged and the new one is ok. Hand tools are good. 4 stars for price and having what I need.

My husbands favorite store

The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a decent selection of tools for automotive projects. The prices are good and so far most of the tools have held up well to the abuse I have thrown at them. I have bought a jack, Jack stands, sockets, hammers, pliers, air tools, etc. They all have been working great.

The prices are low so that is good. Most of the items are made in China so that is bad. I have a real problem buying Chinese goods. They are generally poorly made, often with slave labor, and simply do not last. More than that however is the fact that China is not our friend. Given the choice between made in China and made in the USA, I will choose made in America even if the Chinese product is less expensive.

Love the tools, and cant beat the prices. If something happens to not work, they do better than most places in Pocatello in regards to moneyback/exchanging. Track Club Membership is worth the price you pay, especially if you are a hobbyist, diyer, or if its tools needed for employment. Love the coupon books they send out. Its like a Christmas wish list every month for me!

Harbor freight is great if you are not expecting the absolute best tools the world has ever seen. I love their hand tools, big fan of the tile blades and ratchet straps as well. Just know that most of the tools are not contractor grade, but theyll get the job done. Staff is courteous and friendly.

One would be lying to themselves if they claimed to not be a fan of this place. Although they are mostly single use or single job tools, the fact remains that there are endless solutions to myriad problems available at these stores. People cite the build quality as being lesser than, but sure enough, they are buying said tools! Useful store for damn sure.

The manager there is AWESOME! He knew immediately that they didnt have the tool I needed, but he showed me other tools that would essentially do the job, and he even showed me a trick with zip ties to get it done and gave me some for free. I was pretty disappointed with some of the other staff, though. The first worker I asked for a specific automotive tool had no idea what I was talking to and took me to something that wasnt even in the automotive section. Im not sure that Ill go back for automotive needs because there are several other stores in town that could quickly get me exactly what I needed. But for other fixes, this is a great place to go.

Quick easy. Workers are very helpful and can help you find whatever you need in store or not. Of course this will very from worker to worker but for the most part they are a great choice for all your needs.

I love buying cheap tools that are guaranteed to break. But really they have some better tools if you are willing to spend someme extra cash. They have slim selections right now due to obvious reasons.

The management and employees here are amazing.

My only problem with harbor freight is I go in expecting to pick up one or two items and come out with a cart full. unfortunately I always take a little extra money when I go and I usually come back without that extra money.I recently bought a wood lathe there and Im having all kinds of fun with this I did not get my chisels there for what they had they were too much for me. Would be nice if they start picking up a carbide line of lathe chisels.

Andrea in the Pocatello store is an absolute gem! I knew nothing about what I needed to buy but she knew it all! And she explained without being condescending! I didnt realize the store had closed at 7 and she was helping me at 7:17. You would never have known that by her attitude! Thank you Andrea for your kindness and help, you are greatly appreciated!

What can I say about Harbor Freight, its the frugal mechanics best friend. Went in today to find a tie rod separator to work on the car came out with said item plus a moving blanket (for kneeling on the ground while working on the car), as recommended by the guy working at the store, couple of wrenches, and a roll around mechanics stool. The best part is by the time the guy working there helped me out I had everything thing I needed and all of what I hadnt thought of and Im out for less than $50. Always helpful!

After being told to wear a mask and informing the manager of the medical condition that does not allow me to wear one I was kicked out of the store. After so much time since this whole covid thing has started its a little late to wear masks.

First time in a Harbor Freight. No real complaints. Its a well stocked store with a huge variety of tools. In general, Harbor Freight isnt known for quality, but the trade off is that a lot of their stuff is really cheap. I purchased one of their gems (the famous Daytona 3 ton floor jack), but the gems are few and far between compared to the junk. For example, as I was standing in line they had a $3 tape measure; it looked like a childs toy that was poorly made in the 1980s. It was unbelievably cheap and flimsy. There is some decent stuff but they really do themselves a disservice by carrying some of that garbage.The staff was fairly friendly. I knocked a star off because he didnt even ask if I needed a hand moving my 105 lb floor jack from my cart to my car. I didnt need the help, but if the roles were reversed I would have at least offered as a courtesy. Its a fairly bulky, heavy item to one-man into the back of a car.Overall, Im not about to go tossing all my forged US-made tools in the dumpster so I can rush out and fill my toolbox with HF stuff, but if you do your research first and know what items are actually worth buying, you can get a pretty good deal here.

Top notch HF store with top notch management. If youve got a question or a problem these guys will go out of their way to take care of you. Most of Harbor Freights tools have been decent in the past but recently the quality of everything has vastly improved. For MOST tools, your money is better spent here.

Harbor freight is excellent for those tools you do not use a lot. Some of the brands are super cheep junk but they are starting to sell a couple better lines also.
