It took a while to find what we were looking for. An Associate directed us to the isle # but that was CV it. We ended up going to the back of the store to find what we needed. The item was for my friends elderly Mom. The walk from the front of the store, searching for the valve and going all the way back to the front was a bit much for her. She is fine now but it wouldve been great if they had carts for elderly or disabled individuals.
Home depot ontario is set up yhe way a HD should be.its my HD and its perfect
We have been shopping at this Home Depot for years. I went with my husband to buy a few things. When we went to checkout there was only the contractors register open with a huge line. We asked about another register and were told there was only self checkout. While some are OK with using self checkouts, I do not like self checkout. If I am a customer somewhere I like to feel appreciated by having someone greet me and thank me. Blackmailing someone by giving them the choice to use self check out or have to wait in a huge line is not customer service. Obviously there was huge line of people at the only staffed checkout that felt the same way. We left our cart of items at the front and went down the street to Lowes where we were not forced to self checkouts and felt appreciated. We will not be returning to this Home Depot location.
This Home Depot seems to be kept up very well and the shelves merchandised very well. Most of the time, when it comes to small parts, you find the spot on the Shelf that has what youre looking for but when you reach in the Box you pull out 8 different items from the surrounding area and none of what you actually wanted. They seem to be on top of that in this store. Well organized.
Spent more $ than anticipated but enjoyed looking around. Wanted to get a key made of my garage lock. They couldnt do it. Asked for a referral but she wanted to ring up another person first. We walked away. She came and found us to give us a number. Unfortunately, they only did small keys in 25 unit lots. STILL havent found a place to do it. Overall, the staff was very helpful. Thank you to lady in paint dept who helped us ID and get paint for garage to cover graffiti and make it nice and the man in gardening dept who helped us find shade tolerant plants and cactus dirt.The store was clean, orderly, well stocked so the shopping trip was good. Love going to Home Depot!
The service is amazing. As a person who needs help finding things in a large store such as Home Depot. The employees are willing to help. They have Amazon pick up lockers near the pick up registers. The pick up and online ordering is efficient.
I went in today to buy a water heater Gorege gave me excellent customer service.They also help me to load it on to my truck.

I dont visit HD very often.It would be very useful to to have a floor stand sign informing patrons there is only 1 line for check out no matter if you want self check out or attendant check out!
In Depots effort to become amazon, stocking items has become an issue, you USED to cater to contractors now I dont know what your business line is! Take FOREVER to answer a phone call so I dont make a wasted trip, & when they do answer its always the operator not the dept I requested the automated voice!
This location has made noticeable changes and improvements in customer service. I once use to dread having to shop at this location but not anymore. the staff is helpful, knowledgeable & makes you feel they care if your are satisfied with your shopping experience there. Maybe it was the old manager that didnt do them justice. havent seen her around anymore & probably a blessing.
If I could give this place a half star I would. I’m a delivery driver and I had to deliver some packages to this sad place. I had to ask for help from a handful of workers before they rudely led me to the right place. It was as if no one wants to help, I was walking around in circles. They all get paid to work so I don’t really understand why they all have such nasty attitudes. Home Depot is a great store but unfortunately their service is S H I T (: if you love rude, ill-mannered people, feel free to come give this place a visit you won’t be disappointed
Hard to rate as almost everything in plumbing area and line 12 were so unorganized alot of opened stuff. Wish they were a bit more organized. It was really hard to find employees
Made 3 pick up trips . Returned 2 orders I asked for delivery and they put pick up. Could not change, order refunded. 2nd time for pick up was hung up on and 2nd call rcvd my order. Got home wrong brackets. Will go back again tomorrow for return and refund. Will go to Lowes Tomorrow and get correct order.

Its my second favorite place to shop. My first is Lowes. I get a 10% discount and the people want to know you as a person and customer. Home Depot could learn a thing or two from thier competitor.

The store was a mess, could not go down most the aisles. There were only 3 self check registers that were working but all four had the light on which caused confusion. And there were 3 employees roaming around the area, why not have them open a register and get the line down?

This is my GO-TO home depot store as it is less than 5 miles from my home. It is a so-so store. They have all the basics but good luck finding a product if you are looking for something esoteric. If you need help figuring out what you need for a particular purpose, there are only a couple of older gentlemen working in the store. If they are not there, do not expect help from any of the young hot-shots. They can not tell their rear ends from lemon. So, good for a quick pick up, bad for advice or anything other than simple things.
Neil in appliances was fantastic. She tried so hard to get us a refrigerator, but delivery is 8 was out. She went way above to serve us. Also bought paint. Awesome ladies took care of our order. Quick and easy check out service as well. Thank you!

They prevent using contactless payments with their new checkout machines. 👎🏼👎🏼 Nothing worse then a company sacrificing your health by requiring more physical contact with equipment everyone touches to make sure they maintain their information gathering. Let me remind ya of the consumer information data breach that affected the Home Depot in 2014. Multiple millions of dollars has been required to settle those insecurities by state Attorneys. Our purchasing habits must be more valuable then those multiple of millions. Stay insecure HD.

Good location. Staff seemed friendly. Shout out to the employee who helped me cut some lumber. I needed some 4x8s cut and it barely fit their saw. He took the time to help me find a piece that was able to go through their saw entrance protection and made sure I had had pieces that would fit inside my car. Im sure other places would say they couldnt cut the piece for me
Once again they had exactly what I needed and was able to purchase and continue with my project

Always great here. Went for plants and pots and they did not disappoint. Lots of plants to choose from at good prices. 1 item from a display did not have a price, but the cashier found it quickly.

This is still the worst of all the Home Depots that I go to. Sometimes itll take several minutes just to find the right cart that I need. Most of the time when I look for an item it will either be out of stock or like a lot of the lumber, there are no prices. Yesterday stood and wandered for 10 minutes in the electrical and never saw an associate. Ive been going to Home Depot since they started, I work for a large general contractor that did a lot of their door and window installations also. I know when a Home Depot is run well and when its not. This one is not. They still have all the large bags of sand and gravel Grand Prime Pro contractor parking spots. The spots are even marked for the trucks with trailers.

I had an issue with this Home Depot! I bought a grill from them which they told me they would assemble and would be ready on a Friday! I went back and they tried to sell me the floor model! I filed with the Better business bureau and got a call from Jose the assistant store manager! He took good care of me and displayed extraordinary customer service! He went above and beyond and solved my problem!

There are no more check out attendants except at check out. I kinda like to have someone at a station you can go to. Im happy the other Home Depots are not like this.

I felt right at home in Home Depot. I got the usual great customer service and the feeling my needs would met. Terry moon, the Company Expediter is the person I usually conduct my business. I have done alot of shopping during the pandemic and Terry is the person to make it happen. In the last couple of months we have bought a kitchen sink, replaced the shower in master bedroom, Orbit 4 irrigation valve and aOrbit 6 station timer among recent purchases. Also, I bought Concrete Epoxy Sealer.
Pretty good selection of products. I found what I needed quickly and was out of the store in a flash.
We are at painting department and they mixed our paint color wrong we need to return and let them mix new one they said they will do but can’t refund money back on the 1 st one that not our mistake they should refund or mix new one for us.
Nice helpful associates. But some items like a selection of staples, not a valuable.
Nasty girl refused to help me because I didnt have a mask: I told her I had breathing issues that made it a problem and that I was exempt. She just walked away.

Theyre often understaffed, but when they do have the time to help you, they go out of their way to answer all your questions and get you everything youre looking for. Theyre very knowledgeable about their work and will go to different departments and still be able to give you what youre looking for and recommend items better suited for your needs.
I love home depot because I often fix things in my own house, including plumbing building furniture building cabinets, ect.....This store needs more help during the daytime hours. The people that worked with me were very kind, just a little overworked. I was very grateful for their help.
Im really sorry to say that this Home Depot location is one of the worst places when it comes to customer service.It took over 20 minutes before a second call was made for a representative to help me.Upon arrival the representative seemed irritated that I interrupted her day. It took a lot of effort to make her nice and want to help me to answer questions such as how to place an order, maybe locate the time I needed, or even just want to sell me something. If these staff are not happy with their jobs, helping their customers, maybe they should give their resignation so that people who want/need jobs may work and WANT to do their job accordingly.Im REALLY saddens to report this review but I hope that Home Depot takes it seriously.

First off, I would give this review 0 stars if possible. On Tuesday 6/2/20 at approx. 5:30pm I went to the Pomona Home Depot. They were busy, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I went to check out & pay Oscar was standing near the self checkout lines directing customers as to which self check out lane was currently open. At this time the line of customers was all the way down the aisle. I noticed plenty of other check out stations but no employees there to expedite the line, and assist. When I kindly asked Oscar if they could open any further check out lanes, he casually shrugged me off, and told me to go to the pro-desk.When I arrived at the pro-desk to check out the line was equally long with only one employee working while two others were chatting amongst themselves. I waited quietly, checked out, and went back to Oscar to let him know of the situation.I then returned to let Oscar know of the situation at the pro-desk. However when I got back to Oscar, I noticed that two additional checkout lines had been opened. I started by thanking Oscar for opening the additional lanes, but then proceeded to let him know that there are employees over at the pro-desk just casually chatting while there was a line of customers waiting to check out, backing up into yet another aisle. At this time Oscar began yelling at me, asking me if I was serious? I stated that I was, and then asked if I could speak to a manager since, I as a regular paying customer feel that when there are approx. 20-30 customers waiting to check out, there probably shouldnt be employees standing around ignoring them. At this time Oscar continued screaming at me that he was going to call the cops on me. I asked him why and he stated that I was harassing him. I calmly told Oscar I was not harassing him and that I only wanted to speak with a manager now because of his wildly inappropriate response. At this time Oscar walked to a phone and dialed 911. Funny enough, while Oscar was dialing 911, another customer approached me and stated that he too had asked Oscar for assistance, but had been ignored, and rudely told to leave. At this time Oscar came back to me and attempted to physically intimidate me by a getting very close to my face and yelling about calling the police and how they will come and kick me out since Home Depot is private property. At this point I left, and for good.This type of customer service is 100% unacceptable. There is no reason that any calm & reasonable customer should ever be spoken to like this. Oscars behaviors and actions are shameful, and without a doubt lead customers to spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Home Depot needs to and can do better than this.Sincerely,Your Former Customer

Very poor customer service. The phones are never answered and if they do pick up you can expect to be bounced around to every department looking for anyone even remotely competent. Unless you have experience in retail and can help yourself this store is not worth your time.
Took a while to get the paint we needed. Salesperson did not even ask us if paint was okay and how many cans we needed. He just took our color card and did it.
