It seemed interminable waiting for service, but they were all so kind and attentive to my granddaughter. The doctor recognized me from years ago and greeted me by name. Id like to think shes just that good (she is amazing! dont get me wrong) but in reality I know the mixed quirks of my vision issues are hard to forget. They accepted the payer-of-last-resort-insurance with upcharge for the frames selected. A week or so later, my granddaughter was happy to receive her beautiful brand new glasses. Thank you!

I spent a fortune on two pair of progressive glasses and sunglasses. The regular glasses were not measured right and I am constantly adjusting them on my face to see properly. The sunglasses glasses are great to see out of, but the paint ( they are blue) is chipping from frame. I spoke to someone who told me to come in as they were still under warranty and they would remove lenses and get another Frame for them. When I went in today to have them do that, they wanted to charge me for a warranty plan then another 35 dollars on top of that. I would NEVER do business here again. Sams club was so much better.

My visit today April 20th was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During the past year with the ongoing Covid virus requirements I was pleased to see that this office followed all protocols. My temperature was taken prior to entering and masks are required, they even provide baskets for you to choose frames to try on which were sanitized before and after my use.Yadiany was very helpful explaining the different Eyeglass packages they offer and helped me with finding frames. I highly recommend Eye Doctors Optical Outlets in Port Charlotte and will definitely use them again.

I went to the Optical Outlets in the Port Charlotte mall, let me tell you why I won’t consider stepping foot back into that horrible place. Now I understand with covid precautions but they were really rude to me and other customers, the doctor that was there today needs to retire because he did nothing but bully the patients. I have a disability and he did nothing but bully me, he asked my history and I told him than he proceeded to basically yell at me why I wasn’t wearing the glasses that I’ve previously got from them and I told him if I cannot see out of them I’m not going to wear them. And after I told him my history he turned around and told me that he was going to put it on my record that I cannot get my drivers license and he put down something else that I couldn’t read on my record and when he turned back around he told me that well your prescription did not change from last time when in fact I know that my prescription did change. So my advice for someone that is considering going to the location in the mall in Port Charlotte Florida I would advise you going to somewhere else.

My girlfriend had an awful experience today with them . I am now certain that the reason that they dont want anyone except the patient to enter has nothing to do with the covid precautions. The dr there just wants no witnesses to his ridicule and belittling a young woman who happens to have a disability. I encourage anyone considering this location at the port charlotte mall to reconsider. They treated my girlfriend like dirt.

If I had the option of zero stars that would be most appropriate. This place is horrible!!! The staff is rude, nasty and they each have an attitude. We had 2 appts. One at 1:00 and the other at 1:20. We asked several times if we should reschedule and were told we were next. We were not. They took walk ins ahead of us!! Finally by 2:07 we cancelled one appt and by 2:18 they called our daughter. The exam took 8 minutes. After sitting there for over an hr and a half we chose not to pick out frames. We usually go to Visionworks for those. So then they make us wait another hour and 8 minutes for us to pay!! We will never again return to that place!! We have been long time patients but over 3 hours total spent for an 8 minute exam is unacceptable!!

I have gotten my glasses here several times. I went today, Mask On, and left very disappointed. Some of the girls seemed to have a discourteous attitude. I found a few pairs I liked and finally found a young, pleasant girl. However, she was new and didnt have common answers to my questions. I eventually left and purchased glasses in Eyeglass World. So disappointed since I always liked the selection at Optical Outlets. The staff is not helpful.

Had a wonderful experience at Optical Outlets. We had a short wait. Jennifer was outstanding in her knowledge of eye glasses and was able explain attributes and features of different lenses and frames. She went over and above to help us to pick out just the right glasses for our needs.

Went to Optical Outlet in Town Mall in Pt Charlotte. To be honest...the idea of having to get new glasses was not a pleasant task to accomplish so I put it off and off and off... Well, Shelby was the associate who helped us and I walked out of there smiling from ear to ear and I am so excited about my 2 new pairs of glasses. Shelby was most professional and yet really down to earth and honest with her opinions about our selections and was so helpful in finding the frames that were right for me. She has a great eye and knows her business well. The cost was absolutely reasonable and I couldnt have been happier with Shelby taking care of what I needed. I couldnt thank her enough.

So, I went with my son to Optical Outlets at the Port Charlotte mall. He’s very particular and I’m a total “A Type” personality. Long story short, we’re a pain in the neck!! Then an angel appeared by the name of Liz!! She was extremely patient and professional while dodging my onslaught of questions in regard to the best price for two pair of glasses. Insurance vs. store special options? Liz (who I learned is actually from store #6 in Fort Myers), was amazing getting everything figured out, and she gave us a great price for both pair, with the exam included! Liz is a fantastic asset for the Optical Outlets brand. They should be proud to have her represent them! Give that girl a raise!!

Dr. RAMOS is the best! She gave a great exam and made me feel comfortable. Everyone there was so helpful. They answer the phone with such professionalism and courtesy. While there, I picked out gorgeous frames and got excellent pricing. Everyone should get their glasses & exam here.

This is the only eye place I have been to for the last 10-15yrs. I love their coupon deals & they really come in handy for people that cant afford $400-500 dollars for 1 pair of glasses!! I have never paid over $200 for 2 pairs of prescription glasses. I found this office in the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall & I havent been anywhere else since then! The Doctors are very nice & easy to understand. The ladies in the main area of the office are extremely nice & very helpful. They do the heavy & time consuming work that the Doctor doesnt do!😉😉 I usually get the Buy One Pair Get One Pair Free There is a decent size collection of frames to choose from. The Deal includes Bifocals & Progressive Bifocals. They do not pressure you to get all of their options. You can pick & choose options within your budget & still come out with an awesome pair (or 2) of glasses. I give this office & all of the people in it 5 stars. I recently had a pair of mirror coated eye glass lenses made at optical outlets.I was very impressed with the finished product. I was helped by Heather and she told me they would do their best to create what I was looking for. It a few days longer but well worth it.

Excellent customer service. Dr. Ramos is the best optometrist I have ever had. She is very personable and listened to all of my concerns. Well done!

Drove over an hour after being told over the phone “just walk in, we can see you”- to be told once there “you have to call for an appointment because our computers are down”. Called and was told the same “just walk in”.. went a 2nd time and was told to make an appointment- next available would be a Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning a month from now! I guess they don’t realize people work and their time is valuable! I went to America’s best and had an excellent experience. Pay for convenience and better customer service someplace else.

I have been using optical outlets for 8 years with 5 children. The wait times are short, the doctors are thorough and courteous and all the staff is educated and efficient. They are phenomenal with the kids and adults. All the staff remembers us. My kids break their glasses a lot and Heather always finds the best deals for me. I will be going here for years to come!

Ive seen a couple of different Doctors there, Dr. Ramos is super sweet and knowledgeable, I had an issue with my eyes and instead of putting it off like the rest of my specialists she immediately sent me to a specialist, there is another doctor there that is kind lf rude (an older man) he did something to my eyes that ended up leaving me in tears, and denied it the next time I came just a few days later. I love the woman that usually greets at the front desk as well as well as one of the others at the desks, Jennifer, shes tended to me whenever i come for more than 6 years now, shes super sweet, recommend.

I have guardianship of four grandchildren. Each one of them have very bad eye problems. Optical outlet helped all of them. All got exams and glasses here. One got referred out to a specialist and still got her eye glass prescription here. They are a busy place. If you are aware of that and patient, what great results. All.of the workers and the Dr. are top notch. I would recommend them, highly. We live in a very busy world, slow down and be patient. They are worth your wait and time. Kudos to all the workers and Dr. we loved you! We will be back for all our eye needs.

We have been coming here for years. The doctor is kind, compassionate and listens to our needs. The staff is awesome, always friendly and helpful in getting the best deal. Their prices are inexpensive and they work with utilizing insurance for the best out of pocket expense.

I walked into this store today around 3 pm.. There was only 1 person working there as far as I could see. Maybe there were others in the back. The 1 person was dealing with another customer and there was 1 person waiting. I signed in and waited about 15 minutes. When she was done with this person and called the next person and went to get that persons glasses. As she was walking back with the glasses I asked her If I could ask her a quick question, She said no she was dealing with the other customer. She hadnt even sat down yet. I said I cant just ask you a 5 second question: Was told no. So I walked out. Im not going to wait half an hour just to ask a simple question.. What poor customer service.

The staff and eye doctors are prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have lived in the area for 4 years and have used Optical Outlets for this time period. I love Jennifer. She picks out a variety of frames for me to try. I then choose one we both agree on. She makes me smile and laugh. Its a pleasure to have my eyes examined and get my glasses here.

I got great service when Heather helped me pick out the glasses. She found me the best deal with my insurance. I was told they would take a week and got them in 4 days. Then when I went to pick them up, Carla gave me the new glasses. She asked how they fit and asked about how they fit around my ears. They were a little loose. She took the glasses away for a few minutes and came back with the end of the frames bent at a 90 degree angle. I put them on and they were too tight on one ear. She bent the end again trying to make it fit. I cant believe that she did this. She never even took a measurement and just bent them the way that she thought they might need to be bent. Now I have glasses that are screwed up. Can they be bent again? How many times can something be bent and bent again. Lesson learned...never let an eyeglass tech bend your glasses!!

The worst service ever by the doctor. The staff was very friendly . He got upset for telling my child to look at the letters again and review them . He told me I am not the doctor that he is. Never again will I go or recommend this place.I wanted to make it clear that the doctor I am referring to was a doctor that doesn’t work there permanently. It was Doctor T who I wasn’t happy with. I spoke to a staff member who was really nice .

BEWARE of this awful establishment! Ive been to them several times and every time something goes wrong. The eye doctor is sweet but the other 3 girls there are completely incompetent. They stand around in the back so theres never anyone at the front desk, theyve never called me to inform me my glasses were ready, Ive always had to call several times. They are more interested in taking smoke breaks then dealing with customers. They all stink when they are trying to fit you for glasses. On my last visit I had to go back 4 different times because they ordered the wrong contacts and my vision was actually worse with whatever they gave me, same with my new glasses that I paid almost $350 for, when I went back they found there were small scratches inside the lenses and had to send them back and create a new pair, then I came to pick them up and they were super thick after I paid for thin lenses, uv protection and no glare. They were rude, unprofessional, they did not apologize or do anything to remedy the situation. I got my money back and will NEVER waste my time giving them my business again!

This is an extremely disappointing eye place. The service si terrible. We have been waiting three weeks for my sons glasses. Called today-they have not even sent them out yet, waiting on $5 copay. School starts next week, never got a message about this. He has had migraines from not wearing his glasses.

I had my glasses made at this place and it took them almost a month to deliver them, it turns out that I decided to go see what was happening and they were ready 3 weeks ago, they say they called me and since I do not have an answering service, they decided to leave my glasses sleeping in a drawer . Incredible ! So then you leave your email and home address ??? Or could not insist on the call? Anyway ... in the Empire you also happen these negligence
