Remodeled. Had to get a flip phone as us cell is discontinuing the one we had. Had to pay for new phone and service hookup. Not good as us cell is demanding we get a new one. Been customers for 20 years. NOT HAPPY.The workers were wonderful.
They are great. They tried to correct the no voice directions on Google maps, but were unsuccessful. They think there is an update coming as no ones android phone would provide voice directions. I appreciated all of their help. Bummed because I rely on voice when traveling in unfamiliar territory.

The worst customer service. No one is willing to help they tell you to go downtown to get your phone fixed now instead of filing a claim. Daughter broke her iPad and no one can help set it up and then when she breaks the screen again they cant help you because it never got setup correctly but yet they say its our problem and there is nothing they can do as we have been paying the apple care of 15.99 a month

The screen quit working on my old phone, so I filed an insurance claim to receive a replacement. I only did so after speaking with a US Cellular rep, and verifying that they could successfully transfer everything from the old phone to the new, despite the broken screen. They said theyd be able to and said to bring it in to the store once I received the new device. I did exactly that, and was told there was no way they could help and didnt attempt to try. They also had no info on the policy for their insurance provider when I asked about that, and was only given the advice that, maybe Best Buy fixes screens. Fortunately I know of several places that repair devices as I wouldnt have gotten far with their recommendation or advice. And this isnt touching the experience I had while trying to activate the new device. The whole experience has been incredibly stressful and very frustrating. Train your staff more thoroughly.

Had a very bad experience with Samsung, and have had an AMAZING experience with Quentin from US Cellular! Highly recommend this knowledgeable, fair, tell-it-like-it-is, awesome salesman. Wont work with anyone else. He is great at explaining everything US cellular has to offer in terms I can understand, and I REALLY appreciate all of his help! Thank you US Cellular and thank you for Quentin for making a bad phone experience (not their fault) fixable and explainable. If you go there, ask for him!
Clean facility, everyone here is friendly. Great location, easy in and out. Often theres a wait here though, so bring something to keep you busy.

According to their covid policy they are doing everything to help their customers including waiving late fees and not interrupting service. That is all bs. My phone was shut off today for 26 dollars that was 10 days late. I paid it as I planned to but this shows that these companies really don’t care about anything but their bottom line. I will be making a call to them when they open today and if there isn’t some resolution I will be changing carriers and encouraging everybody I know to do the same. This is the worst pandemic to hit the US since the Spanish flu and us cellular is to worried I can’t come up with $26.
Tom Nguyen was awesome! He explained every question my daughter and I had, and even broke down our bill for us so we understood everything. I had a wonderful experience and I would recommend this gentlemen as a sales person and the store as well. Thank you for all your help and I love my new phone!

I’ve always been an Android/ LG user, but never really had much luck wth them for the last few years. Bobby helped me consider an IPhone, since it fits what I’m looking for. I have an iPhone X an I’m definitely not disappointed, beautiful phone, and it works amazing. I give 5 stars for wonderful customer service and the new phone, Thank you.

Finding the right person that actually cares is difficult at most places not putting US cellular as the only place. My main concern is the existing customers versus the attraction of gaining new people to put in the same boat down the stream. Another thing is the muffler does not have the proper tine.
They were very helpful, made sure you knew were going to get help while waiting for someone. I cant remember leaving not having whatever I went in for not settle or fixed. Cant account for the service out in the area for the phones, but inside there totally different story.

Well I recently preorderd the new galaxy s8 and the staff have been nothing but incompetent.the release day was April 21st I was first told I would have the phone on the 20th and it is now the 21st and it has yet to even ship and also they are unable to find a tracking number. I have been told call the store call customer support and have been passed between both with no results. My latest call to the store started with the normal recording and I selected to speak to the first associate and waited for someone to answer I heard the phone being picked up and expected hello what I received was and I quote oh my good is that the lady I just talked to hang up then I was placed on a brief hold and then was hung up on that is how they chose to treat their customers and I have 7 years customer service and management I hope nobody else has the same experience.

These are the most incompetent sales people Ive ever met. I was told to come back another day at a certain time that I had an appointment so there would be no waiting. I arrive and that person didnt work for another hour. I came back on the hour and they were helping another customer so I waited 40 minutes. Finally get helped and it turns out he was wrong and I wasnt available for an upgrade. If he had checked the last day I was there there would have been no issues. Awful
This is a typical US Cellular (or any cell store) store. You walk in and get checked in. Then you awkwardly stand around starting at each other until you get called. This location had two cashiers/checkin people. What a waste! They had 3 technicians/people-who-actually-do-something waiting on customers. My service employee was very helpful at least.

Go prepaid at Best buy or Walmart you get more and pay a lot less
Cason (the manager) Went above and beyond with helping me with the Note 7 swap out. Their store was having activation difficulties so once my phone was deactivated they couldnt get it reactivated. I had to go with out a phone for a day. Cason not only said he would personally drive to my town, (45 minutes away) to bring me my new phone the next day so I didnt have to come back there, he also gave me a free wireless charging device for all the trouble I had to deal with trying to get the replacement note 7. I was am so thankful for all his help. He really went above and beyond for his customers.

Had to call US Cellular on a use of data issue where some how i recieved a text of useing 100% of my data. I called the portage buisness and the woman tried to tell me all i had to do was reset my phone and then check under settings/data usage. Obviously that does nothing which should be common sense for anyone. She said well the only way it can be fixed is to bring my phone in to the store. I called the 800 number and spoke to a representative who fixed the issue, and comped some data usage for the mistake which i ultimately made because my data usage dates where set wrong. Portage buisness has very uneducated staff and not to add more insult, but eating and chewing in the phone is ridiculous.
If i had any other choice of cell phone provider, i would go somewhere else. unfortunately, US Cellular is the only provider that comes in well around where i live. this US cellular store in portage is honestly the worst customer service i have ever seen in any business. this week i tried calling them once a day every week with no answer to my calls. on Tuesday i called a total of 10 times within 20 minutes. the phone was not answered a single time. i even tried calling the store manager on his cell phone number that he gave me in the store, i left a voice mail and its been two days... he hasnt gotten back to me. when i went into the store they told me we ignore the phones if were busy. now my 14 day warranty on my phone is out the window because i couldnt get a hold of anyone to call for a week. the store takes no credibility for things that are their fault. every employee always has excuses.ive never seen a single customer leave the store satisfied while ive been in there. they offer little/no useful advice or help on any matter. especially for older people who arent as phone savy. if i could go with Verizon or at&t i would, but us cellular has a monopoly in this area of Wisconsin.Ive never left a review (good or bad) for a business, but in this case, this place is so inconsiderate and useless that i had to let anyone possible know that it is absolutely terrible.
They wont tell you auto pay is off. But they will shut you off and slap you with hidden fees. If I have too walk thru the door next month its going to be one star!

Not happy at all with US Cellular!! Went in to the Portage, WI location to pay a bill, handed them the check and account stub and it was never credited to my account. They are stating they can not find the check and I will need to pay it again. They will suspend my service otherwise. Likely to lose myself and family as customers if this continues. I dont care how busy you are, if you receive a payment from someone you put it in the system at that moment and place it in the till. Have called twice about finding it and have experienced rude customer service as well. Customer service is low and obviously do not care about helping those who have been with them for many years.
