The people here are very nice. They explained everything to me where I could understand what they were talking about. They called before they made any repairs to let me know how much it would cost. They are the best.

I called about a technical question, the staff was beginning to explain something to me, but it seemed like the intended answer changed after he asked if i was a customer or calling from another store. However they were polite and did get to my call in a timely manner

I brought my phone here through Samsungs warranty program. I tried explaining the issue with the phone, but Nick did not seem to listen or care. After only about a minute, he took my phone to the back room, then came back and INCORRECTLY told me that it was a pmic issue (which I knew it was not) and that he couldnt fix it there; it had to be sent to Samsung directly. Trusting my gut, I reluctantly rescheduled at the Michigan City location, and Im glad I did instead of sending it to Samsung because they determined that it was NOT a pmic issue, but rather the screen needed replacement. M.C. location ordered the parts and fixed it under warranty. Phone has been working great since, no thanks to Nick and the Portage location. I believe he did not want to deal with me because I told him it was under warranty, so it wouldnt cost me anything. Very rude and very unprofessional! Go to the Michigan City Ubreakifix instead. Trust me, its worth the drive.

Great little store, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Its been a bit rocky with their recent acquisition (We come to you was supposedly available in my area, but my appointment was canceled because the van did have not have a credit card reader...despite me paying a 30 dollar deposit online with my credit card on file) but the Portage store is still great, Ive used their services to replace both my Galaxy S9 and S10e.I noticed a price difference (more expensive) compared to their quoted price online, but an agent was able to adjust the price to reflect that difference. My broken screen was repaired beautifully and the staff takes great care to keep the phone sanitized. Overall, another great experience, highly recommend.

Update: I got in touch with google support they did what they did and the store issued me a full refund. Was a much better experience in the store this time.So I have a Google Pixel 4XL, the phone will stay stuck at 50% battery and not charge. When it dies and I plug it in I get a ? on the battery symbol. Google is aware of this issue and has extended the phones one year warranty. Google says to go to this store and have them repair the phone. This isnt the case at all, I have to pay the $80 for a battery and to top it off they kept my SIM card because the need it to test the phone. So now I can not even use my back up phone to get calls. Very unhappy I do not recommend this store or Google.Update, I just looked at my initial quote. They put on the paper work that my phone had dents and cracked glass. There are zero dents and the glass is perfect. There are two scuffs on the bottom of the phone from rubbing against the case.

I went in today on a reference from Verizon I cannot tell you how impressed I was when I went there. I believe Tyler helped me out he was professional he knew what he was doing and the price was reasonable. I would suggest everyone to go there for your phone repair needs. They are Google certified which means a lot when it comes to phones

I had turned in my phone because the battery went bad. They had replaced it 8 months prior but it went bad again. The technician I had was Quade and he was awesome. They gave me a free battery replacement and gave me advice to prevent damaging the battery in the future. Seriously, these guys are legit. I would highly recommend them. Solid experience.

Only one guy behind the counter he didnt want to be there when he heard asurion claims sent me started trying to convince me to go somewhere else because there were no asurion techs available I left and called asurion they gave me a confirmation number and instructed me to return to the store. Upon returning I was told that they cannot take my phone and I would need to bring it back in tomorrow wouldnt even let me drop it off while I was standing outside I witnessed the guy inside send over a dozen people away you could clearly tell he did not want to do any work, I will never set foot in this building again.

One star is an understatement. I was referred by Samsung Care to have my glass screen replaced within 2 hrs. I brought my phone in at 10:30am and was told that it was one phone ahead of mines and it wont be ready til 1:30pm. I returned at 1:30 and was told that my phone would not connect to Samsung network and to return later. I returned at 3:30 and was told my phone still would not connect and to contact Samsung for a replacement. I contacted Samsung and they told me that the techs put in notes that the repair was unsuccessful because I refused repairs which was a complete LIE. If you couldnt repair my screen just say so instead of lying. Samsung took notes so they would not send customers to this store for service and recommended another store to fix my phone within 2hrs not 5hrs.

Masks required.... for vaccinated people. They had already ordered parts for my phone. By the time I went back I had gotten vaccinated, completely. I believe Quaids exact words were, If you dont wear a mask you cant be in here.Im vaccinated.It doesnt matter.Ok. Went to Tmobile and made an over $500 deposit on a brand new Samsung. When the mom and pops are all dead and gone, dont blame the big guys. The big guys are willing to take your business.

I initially took my Pixel 5 to the Portage uBreakiFix for a cracked screen repair but they told me the device was not repairable. I sent it in to Googles repair service instead and it was fixed within a week. I was very happy with the mail in service but could have had my phone back sooner with walk in service. Thanks for nothing.

I Brought in an iPad mini 2 for a charging port issue and was told that they replaced it and it still wouldnt charge and believed it was a different part they couldnt fix. Wasnt charged because they said they took out the new charging port and put back in the old one. Took it to CPR (Cell phone repair) in Merrillville and was told that there is no evidence that they even took the iPad apart to change the charging port! Will never take another electronic to this place again!

Needed my iPhone repaired and set up an appointment here. So glad I did. Friendly, professional, and fair. Clearly explained what was wrong...why it may have happened (so I can avoid it in the future), and fixed it with minimal downtime. Just talking with these guys for 15 minutes or so I can tell they are committed to doing a good job and they put a premium on customer service. Will stop here whenever I need an something fixed.

Brought my 13 yr old son in to see what was wrong with his pc. Its his 1st computer and hes upgrading it himself by watching you tube videos so several things werent working right with it. We both expected the worse, I was expecting a huge bill. Nope, they figured out it was an easy software problem and had it fixed in 30 min free of charge!! Would love to give 0 stars. Absolute joke of a company. Brought our phone in the get a screen repaired, when we picked up the phone the store actually broke the home button. We had to go back and forth numerous times with no resolution. Ended up getting corporate involved, speed up a few days to where the phone won’t even turn on anymore. Had to bring it to an Apple repair site where we were informed not only was the home button broken but also the motherboard! We went without a phone for 2 months! They paid to have the phone fixed except they used our Apple care to do so instead of paying out of pocket. No compensation for the 2 months we had to pay for a phone bill without having a phone which they broke. Corporate while very friendly told us that since they eventually fixed the phone they can’t do anything else. Not one time did either the manager or store owner reach out to us and has basically refused to return a phone call back. Quad is one of the employees there who was actually very sympathetic and helpful though, that is the only thing I can say positive. I will be contacting a lawyer as well as BBB because this is the most unprofessional and ridiculous experience ever!!!

All I know is that Andy and Tyler are the best. My LG phone died Thanksgiving eve and they worked so hard to retrieve very important photosfrom my phone . I went to 3 other repair shops in Valparaiso and merrillville but the staff didnt want to help me at all. Andy and Tyler were so sympathetic and did try to get the phone to work. These two young men are very smart, respectful, caring. I recommend taking any device to them to be repaired, they will do whatever it takes to help you.

Went for screen repair. Did a great job. I followed up to see if it was done and it was. They havent got to calling me yet. Employee bashed the company (Google phone) he did repair for. Sign said two people in store at a time but kicked me out both times. First time there was one person in there. Second time, someone just left and he told me they are coming back so I needed to wait still.

While there, there was a rude customer who was speaking poorly to the 2 gentleman working. They never lost their cool, and continued to treat her with respect. That was impressive! And great job fixing our phone screen. Quick service!

Greg and Jason are the nicest gents. They were most helpful and exceptionally fast to repair our damaged flagships. They took extra time to explain in simple terminology for this older customer. Service was a great value. I will use this company for more than phone repair. Electronically, It seems there is little that they cant fix. They were honest with other customers on alternative repairs less costly than theirs. Wonderful experience.

Went to see about getting my s8+ screen repaired and the guy tells me there are no discounts. Then looks at my phone and says I need a back glass also and maybe he can get me a discount. Then asks for my password to my phone when I tell him I need to factory restore it before I give a stranger access to my phone he tells me that will take a while and if they do not get my phone in the next 5-10 minutes it will not be done today. I never even said I needed it done today. I ask him to see about the discount and he goes in the back for 2 maybe 3 minutes and comes back to inform me that he spoke with both Samsung and his boss and was told no discount was available.

At the end of June I took my phone in to be repaired. They were able fix it but when I went to pick it up they had lost my case that was on it. They told me they would replace the case and instructed me to send them the link to a similar case. I still have yet to receive the replacement after contacting them about it several times since then. I think they are good at the repair part of what they do but lack in customer care and follow through.

I called. I was quoted. I dropped my phone off 15 minutes later. Greg greeted me when I walked in with a smile. I told him what happened. He took my basic information. Gave me a receipt. Told me how long to expect for repair. I picked up an hour later. Seems to be working perfectly! Very happy! Would recommend this location. Thank you!

I had a great experience using these guys. They did good, thorough work. They staff were knowledgeable able friendly. Hopefully I wont have any more issues with my phone, but if I do, I wont hesitate for a second to back to them.

I brought my computer in that was initially going to need a major and expensive replacement. They were great with staying in contact and wouldnt give up...ended up being a quick and inexpensive fix!!! Great customer service and they resolved the issue. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to get started on my repair. I was told exactly what would be done (replace glass, battery, speaker, and frame, and reseal phone to warranty spec) and that my phone would be returned to in-warranty status, plus three months. The tech did s quick diagnostic on the phone prior to handing it off for repair, and promised a two-hour wait. My phone was ready in an hour and a half. Great job! Go here for phone repairs!

Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible experience. Took my phone in to get the battery replaced today. Never received a call to pick it up. 4+ hours later my phone is back in my possession and now it has a lovely blue screen of death and a battery life of 3%. WTH? Was told to bring it back on Monday for a replacement part (?). Seriously? Why would I return? Instead I will be spending my time at Verizon getting a new phone. I plan on telling everyone I know to stay away from this place. Thanks a lot guys - awesome frickin job. Does Verizon pay you commission on new phone sales?

They are clueless. Did not know what was required to fix my Pixel 2 xl. Did not know how long it would take. Could not tell me how much it would cost. The newb behind the counter kept yelling questions to some guy in back who kept yelling what may have been answers. But not good answers apparently. I took my phone and left. That store does not have its $#1t together.

They did a great job fixing my phone 2 times! The first time I needed a new iPhone camera and they ordered and replaced it within a few days. The next time I had a shattered screen and it was fixed while I waited in under an hour!

Dropped phone broke screen and digitizer . They fixed the screen even though the phone is obscure . Did a good job though the speaker is now quieter may have happened when dropped . I discovered the issue, I wish that they had tested the phone better. One more thing, they got my screen repaired very quickly. UPDATE. Phone problems multiplied after they fixed it. They need to test things before returning to customer. Fixed it so well that I had to buy a new phone. Disappointed

The guys at this store are fantastic! Went there in the morning to have them check why my phone didn’t work. They tested everything and confirmed the phone died! No charge ! When I got the replacement phone, I went back to them and they switched my info from the old phone to the new! Great experience!

Brought my cell phone in to the Postage store cuz it was not receiving picture message correctly when I tapped on received tiny picture to enlarge it it changed to a different bigger photo from my gallery on my phone! I also wasnt able to send pic message out but they found the right settings to change in less than an hour at no cost to me. They were very professional and would recommend them to anyone! They also have a store in Highland too!

Was sent here to repair my screen on my phone via an insurance claim. They replaced the screen took almost 3 hrs ( which should have been specified by assurion)and then the phone would not charge. Had to call insurance company for a replacement, it was closing time and the guy had no clue what was wrong.Should have had assurion send their guy to my house to fix it. Takes 20 minutes and never had any issues. Actually had to upgrade my phone so I was not with out one for 24 hrs.Going here cost me almost 5 hrs in my time and over $1,000.00 to upgrade my phone.I dont know if this was just this location or not.I would not recommend.

Was having a bunch of trouble with my Samsung & these folks were great - especially Greg. He saw to it that Samsung honored the warranty & replaced the phone. And each one was as nice as could be and very knowledgeable about everything!! They are great!
