Dr. Earle is the best! I drive two hours to his office because he is that good at what he does! His knowledge and responsiveness are extraordinary and he was able treat my very challenging eye issues. His office is professional, his staff is accommodating and pleasant, and he has a nice selection of glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Earle for general eye exams as well as the treatment of other eye issues!

I am honestly surprised at the amount of good reviews this place has. I had an eye exam in March 2021, and had a pretty bad experience. The doctor (Im assuming Dr. Earle? He never said his name) did the exam, and it was fine. He never asked me what brand of contacts I wear and if I like them or not- he instead gave me a pair of lenses that were his recommended brand, and even wrote that on my prescription without even asking me if I was okay with switching from the brand Ive been wearing for the past 15 years! He then suggests I get new glasses, even though I literally just got frames last year. They price out new lenses for me, and it just seems pricy, so I say I have to think about it. They then say they will email me my RX. Days go by and I never got it. I had to call four times just to get them to email me my glasses and contacts RX. It felt like they were trying to hold my RX from me so that I would be pressured to buy contacts/glasses from them instead of from another retailer. It should be noted that they are BY LAW required to give you a copy of your RX whether you even ask for it or not. They only released my contacts RX to me after I flat out told them I was not buying contacts from them. Best case, this place is just extremely disorganized. Worst case, they hold your prescription hostage so that you feel pressured to buy contacts and glasses from them.

Dr. Earle is wonderful. He doesn’t give up until he has the best prescription for my eyes. We tried 3 different types of contacts until I had the best, most comfortable fit. They even called to check on me,

Weve been going to Dr. Earle for years. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and patient. When our daughter had an issue a few years ago and called him, he knew exactly what was wrong and immediately directed us to the right specialist. His office staff is also helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable as well. We highly recommend Dr. Earle.

Dr. Earle is the best! I am a pretty nervous patient when it comes to anything medically related, but Dr. Earle has such a calming and positive personality, that I always feel relaxed and at ease.He is also very easy to talk with and really listens to what you are saying and addresses my concerns no matter what the situation. Doctor Earle is up to date on the literature and the technology. Hes caring, thorough and takes his time. Hell even help out when youre looking for new frames (and want something flattering). Randy, the office manager, is fabulous. If I try on frames and he shakes his head, I dont even have to look in the mirror.The only detraction from 5 stars is their appointment system. They will schedule your next visit themselves and youll get a reminder about it not knowing about it in the first place.

Ive been treated by Dr Earle and his staff for 11 yrs now. I have worn glasses since the second grade. (yes, I have looked like a geek for a long time!) Dr Earle is the best optometrist I have ever used, he is the only Dr I trust with my sight.When I had my vehicle repair shop, he would remove rust from my eye gotten when grinding steel. I recently had to get bi-focal lenses. I feel free to return and get them adjusted until they fit as they should.They stand behind their work and they do it with warm personal service! Excellent experience always!

Ive been going to Dr. Earle for many years now. He always provides a great experience: hassle-free, professional, and relatively quick, yet very thorough, examinations. He has a very friendly, calming and gentle manner and is extremely knowledgeable about so many aspects of vision and eye health. He explains things in a very easy to understand manner and is very patient to make sure he finds the exact vision combination that gives you a crystal clear sight. I always leave the office knowing that my vision is in great hands and I see fantastically as I drive away. You cant go wrong with Dr. Earle, his staff, and Lagrange Eye Care!

Visit was great; Dr.Earle and his staff was friendly and helpful. Update: Staff did not remember the conversation I had regarding my purchase such as the price of the contacts I want or just simple details in general.I ordered contacts the second week of March. Its now April. I arrived at Lagrange Eye Care assuming the contacts would be there but the office was closed although the website states the office was open. I called and the staff said the order was processed but the contacts never arrived at the office.If I did not call recently to inquire about my contacts; I would of never received them. Previously I ordered contacts and never received a call when they arrived. The staff was pleasant when I communicated with them. Overall, the quality of service can use some improvement.

I was worried about finding a new eye doctor when I moved here. Im so glad I chose Dr. Earle at Lagrange Eye Care! My first appointment was great. The eye exam was straight forward. Dr. Earle listened to my questions and gave thorough answers, AND he actually responded while I was ranking 1 or 2, 3 or 4, etc. Ive never had a doctor do that before, and I really liked it. Then, the doctor and Randy (who is great) helped me find a pair of glasses I liked and felt good in. Then Randy did the math to see which route, contacts or glasses, would be best for out of pocket vs. insurance. Such a good experience!

As always excellent service! I really like how Dr. Earle takes his time with the exam and genuinely cares about how Im doing. Dr. Earle is also really great with kids! My 2 and 5 year old love going to the eye doctor and sitting in the chair. He has a great way about him that makes it fun for the kids. Randy and the other staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I recently picked out new glasses and everyone helped find me the perfect pair. Thanks!

09/2014 Had an appointment for annual exam and contacts. Dr. Earle was professional, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff member that helped me check in and settle up was also very friendly and helpful. Neither were pushy with sales and I ordered my contacts at a fair price (they match 1 800 contacts!). I would absolutely go back. The office suite itself is a little hard to find within the building if youve never been there, but it is right past the La Grange library entrance (the left side of the building) and youll easily remember for any subsequent visit.

Dr. Earle and his staff are the most amazing people. They are always going above and beyond for me at all times. Dr. Earle has helped me on many occasions off hours with emergencies and has saved my eye twice. I would highly recommend this office for all your eye care needs, sometimes I wish he could be my regular physician because he makes you feel so comfortable and respected and like a human being unlike most other doctors who just see you as a number. Great doctor and staff here! They took a lot of time to explain the details of eye health AND to help me pick out glasses. Ive never had an eye doctor take time to pick out a variety of glasses for me to try on based on my face size/shape. This was really helpful because otherwise it takes me FOREVER to make a selection, and I often end up somewhat dissatisfied with my decision. They had the right amount of etiquette and honesty (This shape suits you well, this one doesnt) and I am sooo happy with my new glasses! Thank you!

I have had a great deal of bad experiences with generic glasses chain stores in the past, feeling rushed, getting poor service, bad quality glasses for a premium price, and people basically reacting like youre wasting their time when you ask a question. Lagrange Eye Care (Dr. Earle) came highly recommended from a few friends and family members and once I got through my exam I see why. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the doctor took his time to make sure my prescription was exactly where I wanted it. They answered all of my questions and you really got a sense that they stand behind their work. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Earle for my eye care in the future.

We moved to this area approximately 10 years ago and when it was time to have our eyes checked I used my insurance tool to find the nearest offices. Dr. Earles office was the first one I called. As it so happens, he was the one to answer the phone that day and answered all of my questions and concerns. Hes been our family eye doctor ever since. He is a great Optometrist and fantastic with children (mine are now, 10 and 12). They arent afraid to have their yearly eye exams and look forward to seeing how much taller they have become from their last visit on the kids growth chart pole centrally located in the office. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I couldnt think of going anywhere else for any of my eye care needs.

Ive been seeing Dr. Earle for about 9 years now and I would never go anywhere else!! My whole family comes to him, the staff is all so friendly and welcoming. They even help you pick out which glasses are the best fit for you (Thank you Randy!) Ive never had anything but a great experience!

I tried on numerous frames in the office. They had nothing that fit me properly. I wound up getting frames on line, through the eye glass company my insurance works with. The frames need adjustment. My insurance will pay for my eye doctor to do this. It is part of my plan and what they signed up for when becoming a provider of my insurance plan. However, Dr. Earle refuses to provide the service because I did not buy the frames there and pay the extra mark up. I asked that they please look at the insurance reimbursement policy and they could not be bothered. They will get paid for the service of adjusting the frame by insurance, but they want even more money from the mark up on their in-house frame purchase. I am extremely disappointed in the greed and my family will not return there for future care. It also took numerous faxes and calls to get my eyeglass RX sent, as well

Dr. Earle is a great eye doctor! He saw me in an emergency at the last minute and he is thorough, patient and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and I did not have to wait. Additionally the office is kid friendly if you have to take a little one with you!

Dr. Earle is amazing! He has been so accommodating when Ive needed emergency appointments. He is very thorough during exams and explains the process as he goes . He goes out of his way to make you comfortable and even makes follow up calls.

Its fairly rare that I write reviews since I typically need to be impressed with my experience. What I have found in the past with other eye care professionals was that I was treated like an insurance claim, a number, some random patient. Dr. Earl and his staff are the real deal meaning they care about YOU and the health of your eyes. Its truly a refreshing experience being treated like a person and not a number.
