This UPS Store in Gurley is the worst ever place to send a package. They are dishonest and not reputable. I sent fresh cookie dough to my best friend with dry ice and was charged $73.00, she recieved the dought 4 days later and was rotten. I paid for 2 days! They refuse to refund my money. Ive contact corporate UPS and was told the reason Im not getting my refund is because they are not responding to corporates request. They are privately own and the owners does not like refunding money. The blond, short hair lady who works, I think she is the manager, is difficult to deal with. Ive told all my friends and neighbors to never use this UPS place ever again. Instead use the real UPS store, they stand by their rules.

I was surprised to know they process Fingerprints at this location. The website said 10am, Got there and was told not till 10:30am by a very rude employee.

Got millenial as the only customer service there. We were 6th in line. Training and guidance is obviously needed. Absolutely no customer serviceM. She was oblivious noninterested and obviously inconvenienced.Seriously, this is not OK. Sorry ; how do you think any of this OK.

I’m not sure if it’s something I say or do, but I always try to be genuinely kind to people in customer service because I work in it as well and I know how taxing it can be. But for some reason, whenever I come to this store for my Amazon returns, the girl with the wrist tattoo is always exceedingly rude to me. I see her the same way with other customers so I know it’s not a unique experience, but I genuinely don’t understand what or how to make this go more smoothly. I’m not trying to get her fired by any means, but something needs to change. I shouldn’t have anxiety if she is the one who calls me over to be helped, but I dread having to interact with her because it’s almost as if she goes out of her way to be genuinely rude. The guy who works there is always super nice and helpful, so I usually try to wait for him, but sometimes her assistance is inevitable. I think I’ll just drive the extra miles and do my returns at Kohl’s from now on.

Its extremely sad one of my most favorite places to do business have drastically changed :-( when I first purchased a mailbox at this location for my business I really enjoyed the street address and the staff working with me expressed to me that I did not need to use the 3-digit box number which was an extra bonus as it looked even more professional. Just simply my company name at the address. Ive recently renewed my box and as of the last month almost every client check sent to me has been returned and now Im told that I need the 3 digit number even though I purchased the Box with staff telling me that was not needed. Apparently management may have changed and yes perhaps we should be putting that number on however Ive already expressed this to all my clients for quite some time they know the address. All Im looking for now is a refund on the box since they are not willing to understand or work with a client that was told something when he purchased the Box. Unfortunately they told me I cannot refund the box which means I have it for a whole year with not even realizing how many people have my address how its been for the last year and a half. At this point all Im complaining about really is the fact that the current management or staff is not recognizing that a client was told one thing when he purchased the Box and not working with this customer who is me on rectifying it in a professional way. Even just a refund. I called corporate office they said it was a case-by-case at each store however I was told from this store that its a corporate mandate that they cant refund so something weird is going on. Bottom line I cant use my box and its going to sit empty now since everythings going to get returned to the sender

Not competent. On Sept. 14th, the overweight, white girl asked if I needed anything in the box. I said please put this packing slip in there. She said she would take care of it. Mailed my camera to Nikon for repairs, and they had no idea why I mailed it to them, no packing slip. If I hadnt had it in for repairs before, they would have had no idea who sent it. Person wasnt particularly friendly either. I wish they just gave me the materials and let me package it. Also, the shipping and insurance is expensive. Insurance should definitely be cheaper... its like they dont trust themselves. Maybe thats a good call.

In five years ive never gotten a package from you on time but fedex and usps manage almost every time. And i cant schedule for pickup as the website will not let me.

Not impressed with their customer service or pricing. Charged me two DOLLARS for ONE normal STAMP to mail a simple Fathers Day card when the cost of a stamp is 55 CENTS. Mailing packages (even being a mail recipient here) is FAR overpriced compared to USPS. No discounts on anything for receiving mail. Have had many instances of misplaced packages and mail. Not sure why UPS thinks they can screw people out of money, but we all know the cost of having a UPS box and shipping packages, so we know plenty of money is made. Not impressed or happy with UPS.

I called for fingerprinting for my job- while on my break & was told that they could fingerprint between 10:30 & 4:30. At 10:30- there was no one who could help. At 11:00 - no one either— & for me timing sis crucial as I’m no my work break.I called the other UPS on Willow creek & was told that she doesn’t know how fingerprint.Where can I go?

I have used all the UPS Stores throughout the region and unequivocally the Gurley Street location is the BEST! I have had some difficult shipping projects over the past few weeks and the team members at this location are absolutely competent and wonderful to work with. Chris truly stands out as an individual who really cares and definitively goes the extra mile! Thank You Very Much!

I ship off over 120 parcels every month as I own a subscription company and have never had an issue with any of these franchised UPS stores. PV knows me and all the employees are great. Prescott off Gurley has been great until now! Tatum is rude unprofessional and argumentative! Absolutely will not be shipping my packages through these stores anymore until I speak with Tabatha about the unprofessional and lack of customer service us customers are experiencing with such a cancer and incompetent employee!

If I could leave a 1 star rating, it would be directed at anybody making these reviews. The ladies who work at this location, as a matter of fact all of the locations in the area as I have been a frequent customer to all of them, exceed my expectations each and every time I go in. The problem with these locations is not the fault of the employees who work here, but rather the customers who act like complete imbeciles every time they go in. You people act as if these young ladies make the prices, well guess what Karen THEY DONT. Lose your attitude and treat people with some respect.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We needed a simple document printed. The clerk pointed us to a computer and said “I am not allowed to help you”. There are no instructions how to use the computer. The print job failed so we needed assistance. She acted VERY put out that we were bothering her and needed help. She called her manager to find out what the problem was. There was no way to complete the job. I suggest that if you have a policy of “no help” to use the print services, maybe you should tell the manager to post instructions on how to do it. She suddenly became very angry and rudely said “Ok, If you are going to complain get out of my store!” I would love to talk to management about this one.Unbelievable. Avoid this place!

Business doesnt even ask patrons to wear face covering. Had to stand less than 3 feet the entire time I waited from someone who was not wearing a mask and was conducting their business from the store. Irresponsible.

Truly focused on small business! I use the UPS Store #2418 on Gurley Street for my shipping, mail, and graphic design needs. The employees are always friendly and professional. Once you figure out the parking lot (its smallish and other customers are sometimes parked creatively), getting in and out is a breeze. Mailboxes are available 24-hours a day for private mailbox customers. Their small business package (cards, flyers, and 6-month mailbox) is well worth the money.

Took a package in on Wednesday before Father’s Day. Lady said it would arrive on Monday. I asked if I could pay more to arrive on Saturday. She gave me the charge for that, which I went ahead & paid! It did not arrive on Saturday, arrived on Monday. I went in to get a refund, and was told that it is 3 business days! I wasn’t told this before, why would I pay extra, when it arrived there on the original time. I asked for a refund for the difference. The lady called her manager and she said no, but I could email her. I never received a reply. It wasn’t a huge amount of money, but is the principle. I wasn’t told in the beginning that it was 3 business days!! UPS does deliver on Saturday, so it should count as a business day. We will not go to this store again!!

Fantastic service, follow-through, responsiveness to follow up questions. Sadie at the Gurley Street Store and Tabatha Thomas at another Prescott store packed and shipped dozens of precious family heirlooms. Everything arrived safely and precisely on time. Great work. Would not hesitate a moment to rely on this team again.

Extremely disappointed in their total failure to adhere to any sort of Covid 19 protocols. None of the employees wear masks and there is no attempt to implement social distancing. The FedEx store, by comparison, has all employees wearing masks, limits # of customers, offers no contact drop off.

Not a very happy customer. I took an Amazon return to mail 10 days ago and they notified me they never received it. Also same day mailed a large envelope toScottsdale and its still not there. It was very busy in there when I dropped off and the guy just put the packages with lables on top without sticking them on. I should have tracked it and should have said hey that needs to be attached and not just laid on the package. My fault but next time I will go to the other UPS store.Update..it finally showed up! Postage due...wouldnt you think the UPS store with their scales could get the postage right? Ummm?

This place went above and beyond for me. First- I couldn’t lift the box out of my car because it had completely fallen apart, and Chris came over and carried it in for me. Then for no charge, he fixed the box. Another shop would charge me for a new box and the tape. thanks Chris!!

Just got to enjoy a raucous and jovial racist, hateful and xenophobic tirade between one of their employees and another customer. In a very short time they managed to very loudly insult liberals, Muslims, Mexicans, immigrants, and the mentally ill. Came to drop off a package, didnt expect to walk into a Klan rally. Disgusting. Wont be back.

Way over priced on boxes. Paid over $30.00 for 2 medium sized boxes and some packing materials but was in a hurry so ate it. Also tried to get Notary services but no luck- the person was on break and couldnt be bothered. They were sitting right there- but would get up, letting one employee help 3 customers while they rested and watched. Go to the one on Willow Creek near Safeway-much more accommodating folks there.

We went in and paid $40 for a notary to notarize some important documents, it was done wrong. When we returned another notary advised me to commit a felony on our mortgage documents which had already been returned for being done wrong, by filling in what the notary forgot and resending it. Then refused to notarize the documents without is paying an additional $40. The papers were already late because of their first mistake, so to get them again on time again we were forced to go elsewhere.

Stay away from this place. I paid $25 for them to pack a item (over priced). They packed it so flimsily that when it arrived in was broken and they refused to honor the guarantee. Stay away from this place if you need packing.

Terrible service! Associate sent our package out wrong and when we called to confront them about it the manger asked if she knew what to do and she said no! So if you dont know what to do ask someone that does!! Terrible customer service. Wouldnt refund any of our money for their terrible mistake!! DO NOT USE THEM!

Employees need to know how to find drop off boxes/mailboxes in their areas. The girl I talked to was clueless and said, um maybe you can google it. Not helpful when Im driving and in a hurry- thats why I called, for some assistance.
