Receptionist took my number down wrong despite me confirming it. After playing 1-way phone tag for 2 weeks he finally got my car worked on. Then he replaced my mirror for free saying he didnt know how it broke it mustve been someone walking by and that he looked all around for it and couldnt find it when the broken mirror is question was on the passenger side floor. Obviously THEY broke it and fixed it for free so I wouldnt complain. But Im complaining because he lied about it.However he had a coworker nice enough to give me a ride home and he was the only person willing to work on a solenoid that I called so it wasnt all bad.Pricing was ok. Pretty standard.
This simple diagnostic test that was quoted to be finished the same day, has turned into a horror show with absolutely NO sense of urgency, NO communication, and NO appreciation for the customers time. Not only have they shown no regard for keeping my vehicle for THREE EXTRA DAYS and what kinds of problems and additional expenses that causes, but I have to CONSTANTLY call for updates, despite promises to call me themselves. i sit here on a Friday night and literally did not know if i would have my car for the weekend as of the shop closing. this is the second night in a row that i was promised a call back and did not receive one. apparently as they put my vehicle back together after the diagnostic, they broke off a metal pin in an essential connector. I have now spent almost $200 in ubers as a result of this, i have a sick parent i promised to bring groceries to two days ago, and i am now looking at the weekend with no vehicle, and they did not even have the decency to pick up the phone and let me know so i could make alternative arrangements. Frankly i feel THEY should be providing me with alternative arrangements since this was their error . This is beyond INFURIATING. save yourself the trouble.
Was referred here by another mechanic. Im pleased with the service. Im even more impressed with the professionalism I experienced. Jim kept me informed at every step. Took my call if able; returned my call promptly if he was not. Car runs beautifully. Thanks, Jim!!!

Absolutely the best there is for transmission problems! Its great to still have honest service shops like Aamco in todays world. Thank you for your honest diagnosis and professional customer service. Aamco saved me upwards of $200. Surrounding Ford Dealers & Service Centers wanted to rip me off by charging me for a computer scan of my transmission. Aamco went one step further, and did a better job, they took my vehicle on a test ride to experience first hand any possible transmission problems & it was free! You dont get better than this! Great service and honest
Had steering problems went to aamco for the free diagnostic. 8 hours later they finally called back telling my wife that the rack and pinion had to be replaced, and they also like to replace the pump in that situation. They quoted $1200 for parts not including labor. Took our truck to a family mechanic for a second opinion and he just put lubrication on the steering rod. Truck drive great he also said if there are further problems it would be the steering shaft the rack and pinion were fine.

My tranny had happened to die right by the Providence store. So I took it in to be fix. Well I paid about $3k and when I got it back fuses started shorting and the tranny was still acting up. I brought it back and the guy told me that it needed some sensor. Luckily my brother works at an auto parts place and got the sensor and put it in. I then again brought it back and the guy then makes up some bs and says that its not the tranny its something else so they wont fix it even though I had a warranty on it. So after 3 tries of trying to get it fixed correctly I gave up and ended up having to junk the truck. I will never go there or recommend them to anyone. Very poor business.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!....DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE PLEASE THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES THEIR ALL A BUNCH OF GREASY SMELLING SCUMBAGS ESPECIALLY THE OWNER JIMMY WHO IS A LYING MANIPULATING MONEY HUNGRY PIG!!!!!....they all lie especially the secratery in the office they will constantly give u the run around and when they say they will call u back dont hold your breath because they wont u will have to contact them and they are very rude to no people skills at all they will tell u to bring your car in when u call and then it will sit there for a week before they look at it and lie about the problem if they did the work on it before that aamco warranty means crap because they dont stand by it they will tell u theres no leak or no malfunction so they dont havev to fix it again or if your new to the place they will take complete advantage of u and charge u ridiculous parts prices which i know because i priced out all the parts at the dealership and aamcos part price was still more HUGE MARK UP ON THE PARTS ITS INSANE!!!!....THE LABOR RATE IS HIGHLY EXAGGERATED TO!!!!! IF YOU DONT BELEIVE ME TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FIRST FOR A FREE DIAGNOSTIC THAN TAKE THE CAR TO A REPUTABLE PRIVATE NON FRANCHISE MECHANIC AND THEN FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF HOW BAD AAMCO PROVIDENCE IS!!!! 0 and also they have no respect for your vehicle to they will leave grease and oil prints all over your interior and outside of car and tell u that they were going to wash it for u but the detail guy didnt show up....really aamco like the 10 other people that work there couldnt of give it a quick rinse!!!!.....SO IF U BECOME A NEW AMMCO PROVIDENCE CUSTOMER MAKE SURE U ASK FOR EXRTA VASELINE AT THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE JIMMYS GOING TO STICK IT TO U REALLY DEEP!!!!!

Brought car in for tranny fluid and filter change and was told all foam in seats has gone flat and need to be replaced as it was a safety concern. Was quoted $1500!
