Fantastic service. My bmw 325ci was running rough, told them I replaced coils and plugs but still ran lousy.. they were intrigued and took the car in for a look... A few hours later found one bad coil and a whole different defective part. They saved the day and made a customer for life.

Just moved to the area and they fit me in before their holiday break. Fun group of guys and know their stuff. Generally when you walk into a garage and there’s a race car there are you know these guys are into it. Nice to know I found a good VW mechanic here in Rhode Island.

Ive used their services before and was 100% satisfied. No fault to theirs, I habe a newer vehicle that they did not have the updated software for, therefore, they couldnt do all of the upgrades I was requesting. However, the upgrade they did do, they did stress free and in record time.

I called them looking for a quote for a slave cylinder replacement on my 2013 VW sportwagen TDI, they had suggested replacing the clutch and flywheel as well as rear main seal while they were in there. So I ordered all of the parts, dropped it off Sunday night and it was ready for me after work on Monday. I had initially called VW and they had quoted me at $2,500 for a slave cylinder replacement; I hung up and gave banchwerks a call and they told me they would do the job for $800 in labor if I supplied the parts, so I got everything done for only $800 labor plus cost of parts that I ordered. Can’t be any happier with the service I had received.

I called and had an appointment booked the next day.I went in to have my car flashed back to stock and Banchwerks finished faster than any other shop Ive been to. These guys really know their stuff when it comes to German cars! This place does not look like an Audi service center, nor will you get a deer in the headlights look from them if you ask them a question about a problem you may be experiencing with your vehicle.

Called to get my passat apr tuned, jesse was able to accomplish this in to no time! And all during the pandemic too! Was referred here by a neighbor, and will continue to return!

These guys are awesome. They enjoy working on their own cars (and hit the track often), and that passion means you get excellent service and quality workmanship. The prices are very reasonable, and I found that the numerous times Ive been there the final bill is spot on to the estimate they had provided, so there were no surprises.I highly recommend them if you have a BMW that needs some work.

Great service, clean shop, and very professional. Went for an intake valve cleaning at 65k miles. They used soft medium vice hard chemicals. If you own direct injection and your car has a cold start and shakes in the morning, it may be time to get your carbon removed as well....come here

Great place. i had the wheels stolen of my car a few months ago so i ordered some new rims/tires and they drove down to my apartment and mounted the wheels on my car in my parking lot. It was a huge help

Dropped my mkIV Jetta off that needed a lot of repairs. Jesse and the guys were able to not only did everything, but also spend the extra time to review the details of what they did. For example I needed a new exhaust and they took the extra time to put the correct exhaust tips back on my car. It’s service like that and the extra effort that makes all the difference. Beware of false reviews! I wish there was a zero star option. Id like to start by saying I called ahead of time asking of they knew how to fix older Mercedes (1987 420 SEL, extremely well-maintained, from Atlanta). After communicating the year, make and model of my vehicle, the person I spoke with answered Yes. For European Car Experts they lacked the tools (and personnel) to do a simple valve adjustment?!? In addition, I requested a headlight replacement. When I dropped off the car I had only one headlight out, the brights worked perfectly. After driving I discovered my lights were completely out EVEN THE BRIGHTS!!!I cant quite understand why theyre so highly rated, unless of course their customer base only consists of guys who want ridiculous spoilers or nitrous injectors installed. Dont believe the hype.

The gentleman here at benchworks are extremely professional & knowledgeable! My car needed some work what I loved about theres service they broke what I needed down into smaller jobs so it was easy for me to commit two smaller jobs rather than just one big job.Very happy highly recommended!!

I own a 2011 Audi S4 V6 3.0T.Recently my car started to Overheat . It was either the water pump or the usual culprit, the thermostat. It’s an extensive amount of work even for a great mechanic to do since it involves removing the supercharger and dozens of other things.I called and got quotes from many dealerships and so called European car mechanics.Theo “ customer service manager/owner” was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable on the phone and quoted the most competitive price to do the repair than over 5 VW/Audi dealerships in the Southcoast area along with 3 other BMW VW AUDI mechanics.My car was completed within the very next day. Which was great for a repair that is rated for at least 7-8 hours.When I came to pick up my car, I was met by Jesse” head mechanic/owner”Jesse took the time to explain to me all that was done and replaced.These guys are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing!One thing they are NOT is a repair shop that will try to milk you for all kinds of unneeded repairs.I am 100 % recommending them for any AUDI,VW, BMW repairs .They have me as a customer for life for any difficult repairs on my AUDI OR VWMike BernardoBristol, RI.

Stopped by for a trans flush in my 2015 VW Jetta and couldnt be happier. She back to shiftin like the day I drove it home from the dealer. The people that work there are also super cool and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone with a German/European car whether youre looking for basic maintenance or performance modifications.

We took my boyfriends old GTI here a few weeks ago, the guys were great! Down to earth, realistic, extremely accommodating as he was on a budget. Id recommend Banchwerks over any other shop for knowledgeable, fast work on VWs.

My CEL came on and the closest shop was a VW dealer in Braintree. The dealer took a look at my Mk6 GTI with 115k miles and informed me I needed a new timing chain, camshaft, etc. They estimated the repairs would cost $4300. Something felt wrong (considering my car is worth that much) so I made an appointment to tow my vehicle to Banchwerks and have them take a look.Banchwerks found the timing chains stretch was still well within VWs specifications and resolved the CEL by cleaning the spool valve. I was charged for two hours of labor.The moral of my story is that you should feel great about taking your car to Banchwerks. They are exceptionally talented and work with passion and precision. Best of all, you can TRUST what they tell you.I will be taking my MK6 down to Banchwerks for the remainder of its life.

Great place, friendly & knowledgeable crew who got the GTI software upgrade finished in a fashionable time and I will be a return costumer for sure.

Got my 2012 GTI tuned here with APR stage 1 since they are the closest APR dealer by about 50 miles. Very happy with the work, and they also dont charge labor on APR installs. Ive heard of some people paying up to $200 in labor at other APR dealers. Will definitely be back for future mod needs :D

Great shop to get any of your German cars repaired.

They claim to be a European repair shop but dont work on Mini Coopers. The man on the phone was rude and totally disregarded me and trashed talked my car to me. Hard pass, spend your money elsewhere or maybe just “go to the dealer” like they suggested to me.
