Upscale atmosphere, no non-sense business. My salesman Lou was very knowledgeable and informative and his love for his profession shows. My Benz(pictured) had a mechanical issue after leaving the lot, I contacted Lou and the vehicle was fixed before my coffee cooled down. I will be back for my 1st Maserati. I wish I was a paid critic, but Im just an average Joe with an very nice import.

I visited this dealership in search of a good reliable used vehicle. Louie a salesman was the first on the scene. He helped me with in making my final decision; boy was it hard, but I was happy with my final decision.I didnt only find that vehicle but I had the pleasure also in meeting Mike Weaver. Mike handle my purchase with the most care. He calmed my anxiety in making my purchase. He made sure that I understood and answered any questions that I had. I showed up Friday morning and he had my Lexus washed, filled up, and he even noticed the brakes were low and had them install new brakes and rotors. Most dealerships wouldnt go above and beyond. My daughter and I drove over an hour to look at purchasing a Honda from them. She called in advance and made sure that they knew she was very interested and was coming. Once there, no one greeted us and when we did get help they acted like they were not interested in selling a car to us. Spoke with Lou for weeks trying to buy an M3 that fit my specs perfectly. I paid for a pre-purchase inspection and worked with them throughout a couple issues that came up with the car. All throughout, I had to follow-up with Lou at least 10 - 12 times over the course of 2ish weeks trying to buy this car. It was truly like he didnt want to sell it, or at least not to me. When the issues were (partially) resolved, enough that it was finally a sellable car (by their own admission it was not up to that point) I made an offer and Lou said hed take it to the manager and call me back (he told me hed call me back about 10 times throughout those weeks and never did). Two days later I see the car has been sold and weeks later Im still waiting on my call back.

One star is VERY generous considering 0 stars is not allowed. Went by to look at an Audi and was denied a test drive because I wasn’t “committed to buying the car”. Now correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the purpose of a test drive is to decide whether or not that car is the one you want. I purchased a car from them 2 days before Thanksgiving. The pictures did not show any of the MANY SCRATCHES that was all over the vehicle. The passenger INSIDE DOOR HANDLE POPPED OUT when my 7 year old daughter tried to close the door. There is CLEARLY A BURNING SMELL that started 2 day after recieving the car, and around that time A POPPING SOUND started coming from the front wheel when turning, plus the VDC/SLIP WARNING LIGHTS came on. All of the tires(the warning lights were already on) were almost 20lbs low in air & the inside was not detailed.... They are courteous people I give them that, but THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS CAR WAS SERVICED BEFORE SELLING IT TO ME. This car has more problems than the one that I got rid of to purchase this mess..... They did suggest that I drive (4.5 hrs) back up there so that they can look at it😳 Or I can take it to get checked out at a shop to see if it falls under a powertrain warranty, which Im pretty sure that none of these items dosent qualify for repairs 🤦🏽‍♂️Ive had 8 cars in my life, and this is the first time that I have been disappointed in a vehicle that I only had for a week😔😔😔😔😔*For the record. We hesitated with the purchase, but felt good after talking to the service manager, who explained to us that they went through a check list and replaced all worn parts such as break pads and rotors. He assured us that the car is mechanically sound. The car developed a progressively getting worse oil leak over the last few week. It turned out the oil pan had a crack and expoxy has been applied inside and out around the crack and oil drain. The application of the expoxy is looking very unprofessional. In addition the splash shield is completely missing.Talking to Weaver Motorsport, they now claim that the car has been bought as is, and we could have it repaired at a discount for $2500. Review №78

Id like to preface this review with the notion that this is my personal experience and in no way reflects the way others may receive service or goods from Weaver Motorsports.I Found a 2008 Nissan 350z on their site listed for 10,995 with only 65k; I knew this would be a prime candidate for what I was looking for. Looked through all the pictures and things looked great! Bit high on the price but, a 2008 with only 65k; I struck gold! or so I thought.Lou required a $500 deposit to hold the car until the weekend because I live in DC and had to work all week. I finally get down to Weaver in NC.The car is not what was described on the site. There was a penny sized crack in the windshield, the rear hatch did not sit flush with the rest of the body, mis-matched tires (staggered tire setup, one of the rears was mounted on the front). I also noticed it looked like the oil pressure was low but, the factory gauge had been known to be inaccurate. I tried to keep in mind that it is a 12 year old car and there were going to be issues. The listing had stated they (Weaver Motorsports) had replaced a rear wheel bearing and put on new tires (when they did; they put them on in the wrong location). I asked Lou about the crack in the windshield, which was not listed or documented on the listing, and his response was and I quote Huh...yeah that looks like a rock chip. So I asked what could be done about it and he said Well, if you were local we could have a shop fix it for you but, because youre from out of state, I dont think there is anything I can do. I asked about the mis-aligned rear hatch and he said this is how they got the car from Auction in FL. I drove the car, car drove fine, I get back to the dealership and I notice the oil pressure is low on the gauge but, the oil pressure light is not on. Concerning but, not deal breaking; I tried again to keep in mind that this is a 12 year old car that was going to be my weekend toy. I had reservations about the asking price of 10.9k and asked Lou if I could go to lunch really quick to think about it; he told me he couldnt do it because he had other obligations to attend to. I had already placed a $500 non-refundable deposit on the car, drove 4.5 hrs, and secured financing. I wanted to weigh the pros and cons and seek some advice from a few friends prior to purchasing or walking away. He told me that, he could sell this car anytime for the asking price and that if I didnt want the car, I could use the $500 on another car. Makes sense but, didnt help me feel any better. I finally caved and bought the car, risking what could come. I signed paperwork, one of which is a non-guaranteed used car clause. Didnt get the warm and fuzzies but, they offered a limited warranty. The limited warranty covers only $1000 and only on parts listed in the warranty itself. Keep that in mind! I also asked if I could see the service records for the car as they did work to the car and Lou told me he doesnt have them? Okay.Fast forward to me getting the car home; which the car drove fine. I took it to a Nissan Dealership to get it state inspected and a good once over. Turns out, that front windshield caused the car to fail state inspection. They also found that the ball joints need to be replaced (Which should have been replaced upon the Pre-Inspection at Weaver), there was no battery tie down, and a nail in the tire (I dont fault Weaver for that, that could have been picked up anywhere. They also performed an oil pressure test and guess what. It failed at idle only had 10psi when it should be at 14psi or greater. Who knows how long the car had been like that. So, at Nissans recommendation, they suggested an entire rebuild on the engine as they found metal flakes in the oil pan. So, not only am I out 10.9k for the car itself, Im also in the car for a new motor, and a failed state inspection. All this to say, in the grand scheme of things, I rolled the dice on this car and dealership and I lost; I lost big time. I cant wait to see the response from Weaver on this review!

I purchased my 2011 Cadalac CTS AWD from Weaver last Novemeber 2019. The car has ran perfect without any issues at all. The Price was fair and the vehicle was in great condition a few minor cosmetic issues but nothing serious. Lou and all the staff in the office was great. Review №85

First of all, youll notice that every negative review involves someone acting like they know what theyre talking about in regards to a specific vehicle, or having mechanical knowledge, or just being downright petty with what theyre complaining about, so after my experience with Weaver Motorsports I will gladly tell you to take those reviews with a grain of salt and basically ignore all that noise.I came in with a trade, free and clear with title in hand.I had a 2016 Ford Focus ST wanting to trade for a 2013 Scion FR-S.I had called ahead on Friday and there was no issue with me coming in on Monday (I live in Kannapolis so its a bit of a drive) to see the car.I showed up, they test drove my trade (basically pristine minus whatever minor scuffs you might find from being a daily driver), I test drove the Scion, and we both decided that it was a good trade. Now, I was working mostly with Lou and I will go ahead and tell you the review from the guy talking about Lou being rude or abrasive is a crock of ****. He knows what hes talking about, he explains everything properly and in an easy to understand manner, and he is about as level-headed a guy as Ive ever encountered. The only reason I was there for more than an hour or two was because I was talking the ears off the staff about the various vehicles they have staged in the showroom that are the owners personal projects. These guys know their stuff, they arent trying to screw you over, and they most certainly are not difficult to deal with.Firm price means firm price.I dont understand why so many of you that have left these negative reviews dont seem to be able to comprehend that you cant go thousands less on a vehicle just because some soccer dad from suburbia decides he knows better than what the NADA value after market adjustment says.Of course they arent going to sell to you at huge loss, because this isnt some franchised dealership with cross-country locations so they cannot afford to continuously do that, so its just better to have firm up-front pricing for everything they sell.Im beginning to ramble and I think my annoyance at the dishonesty of some of these reviews is showing, so Ill wrap this up.I traded the Focus ST, I got the Scion, and I have not felt so good about a purchase since I bought my rat trap Bronco in 2008.The Scion has so far been a very reliable, solid, and extremely enjoyable car that Ive already begun to throw a few aftermarket bits on, and if anyone wants to go grab one of the other ones on the lot at Weaver, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO SO.P.S. The review talking about the cars being dirty...the lot is surrounded by trees and is outdoors...soooooooo get over yourself, buddy. Its called nature and the cars are no dirtier than they would be after you take them home and forget to wash them. Plus, whatever vehicle you decide to buy, they go through a complete detailing process and are looking showroom ready by the time you drive away in them. Thanks for the car, Lou!

Friendly staff but was told the car I was buying out of state had zero rust or damage. Was also told it was the enthusiast model. Once I paid and paid to have it shipped I found that it has over 7k in damage caused by rust. I have professional estimates from three well known auto body shops. Also the check engine light is on and it’s in fact the base model. In my state cars must pass inspection to be registered. I haven’t even been able to register it yet and likely will never be able to as the 7k to fix the rusted out frame that holds the rear subframe is out of my price range and my state says it’s a liability. I offered to ship it back at my cost if he would just take it back because it’s to damaged to be driven in my state. He said no. I contacted an attorney who told me I have a case but the legal fees would be upwards of 7k if I took him to court. I begged him to help me and he told me see ya in court. I have emails and photos to prove everything I’ve said. I’d be cautious when buying

The rear hatch would not stay up and the sales man said it was supposed to be that way....I mean come on! Warranty or not... it dosent matter if you cant even get the gas to drive it home! I get it that it has 100k but really! Ended up driving to Geogia and bought the turbo version with the same miles and no issues for the same price. Salesman said maybe it wasnt for me and I said that he was absolutely right and left. Will never even look at another vehicle for this establishment. Best of luck for anyone who does. Waste of two hours driving and gas.

THE WARRANTY IS BS !!They don’t actually help you they just look for every single reason not to give you the money . The warranty is not real! Such a sketchy place . STAY FAR AWAY.

Ive been taking my 2003 Saab 93 to weaver for the last year now, and it has been a truly awesome experience. Nick has helped me in so many ways. I recently was looking for a part on my car that was worth 270 dollars. I was not ready to make such an investment at the time. Not knowing that he was continuing to look for the part, nick contacted me 3 weeks later saying that he had found the exact part I need for 70 bucks. A truly pain free experience that I would recommend anyone to partner with

Simon at Weaver Motorsports is the best! Ive had my car (an old BMW 318ti) serviced at WMS three times, for both small fixes and large jobs. Theyve been awesome. Accurate estimates, timely service, never pushy. Simon answers all of my questions in person and over email (trust me, Ive sent plenty) promptly and with lots of information—even when they dont directly relate back to a Weaver project (hes been very helpful with wheel and tire information, for example). I am very happy to have found them, and look forward to having my car serviced here for years to come.

Great people, i bought my 2013 Scion FRS in March and i was running against traffic that day aswell but they stayed open after hours so i could buy my first car. They help me and made sure that was possible and made me feel very comfortable. They even told me i got a warrant for 30,000 miles without even asking for it, i really do appreciate them doing so much and they are great people to work it
