This place has tons of back issues. Silver and bronze is on the wall. Owner is super nice. I like the feeling of have tons of comics to choose from. Also has some books out from last month in case you couldnt make it there. I travel the United States checking out Comicbook stores and this place is on my list when I am in North Carolina.

It can feel a little daunting with all the boxes, but the amazing staff is very helpful and, unlike other comic stores, actually seem to want to help you find what you need/want! Not the closest to me, but worth the trip every time!

Visited for the first time during Free Comic book day. The staff were very welcoming to us. Impressive and VERY extensive collection of trade paperbacks will keep me going back again and again.

This shop was a complete waste of my time.I am currently working on a run of Spawn #1 to the upcoming issue #300. I spend one lunch break a week visiting a local comic shop filling back issues that I need. After visiting Ultimate Comics and Foundations Edge, I wanted to try out Capitol Comics this week.I go in and find two back issues that were priced, with another four underneath a table that were not priced. The guy running the shop opened up the Overstreet Price Guide, priced them out, and I agreed to the price he quoted me. I went back over to the Spawn section to put the long box back under the table and another guy walks in. I am walking back up to the front to pay for what I just picked out, as well as grab a ton of supplies, but the guy that just walked in raised the price on the comics by $19. I laughed and walked out, I do not plan on returning.For the owners when you read this... you lost out on current revenue of issues that had dust heaped on them and had sat there for years. They will continue to sit there for years. You lost out on additional revenue when I did not buy the supplies I came in for. You lost out on future revenue as there were about another 10 issues I planned on coming back to get next week or the week after. I was also going to ask about opening a subscription for all future Spawn issues moving forward + all the variants. That wont be happening now. Keep your comics and the $19 you raised the price by, you lost out on a lot of future business.

The owner and staff are EXTREMELY friendly and responsive if I need something added or removed from my pull-list. Each week they send me an email with comic release information and whats new from my personalized watch list.The location is easy to get to and well maintained. They also have tons of reasonably priced back issues.

I really like the atmosphere here. Light music playing in the background and employees that give you your space while shopping. The store wasnt to big nor too small. It was goldilocks perfect.

This is the best comic shop around! I just recently got into Comics about the time DC did their New 52 reboot, and tried a few other local shops before here. This one was the best of them all, the staff is helpful and easily helps new readers find good series to get into. Also, if youre ever looking for old back issues, theyll help you track em, down. Customer service here is amazing and I will be coming back as long as I live in the area.

Love this comic shop! The staff is always super sweet and super helpful and more than willing to give suggestions on comics if youre looking for something new to try! We have a subscription service with them and get a percentage off of a Comics based on how many we subscribe to. Definitely our go to comic shop!

I moved to the area recently, and have explored all the comic shops in the area. If you have been going to these guys then by all means continue to go there. they seem to LOVE talking to their long term customers. They dont seem too interested in making new ones though. After being told to refrain from looking through the back issues under the tables so nicely(what do you need out of there! I would prefer you dont go in there) we were subjected to a black gentleman and his oncoming relief talk about the reason that he was late for work was because of his therapy session and what he was there for. I asked about several statues in their case and NO ONE could tell us any prices and seemed very uninterested in selling anything to me. After 10 minutes of them scrounging around to find prices I just told them not to worry about it. I felt like I was being a nuisance by asking to buy their items. The whole time I was there I was ignored and could see the looks on the employees faces when I talked to them that they were genuinely uninterested in what I was saying and or asking about. They did however treat their regulars awesome. They were greeted by HEY JOHN and I GOT YOUR BOOKS IN So the owners should be very proud that they are keeping the regular guests happy. Overall I purchased $20 in some back issues(the ones I was allowed to look at) then directly went to the next comic store on my list and promptly dropped $400 on several books and a statue. If you are new to the area I would highly recommend going to another store. If you are a regular to this store by all means continue to frequent this establishment as it does have some cool things and good service for established guests.

I seriously love this shop and the guys that work there. This is what comic book stores are supposed to be. I usually end up having some of the best conversations here. Ive been to other comic book stores in the area but this one is hands down my favorite.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They usually have what Im looking for and on the slim chance they dont, they find or recommend a way to get it into my hands. Good sales and awesome guest signings. Best LCS Ive found since moving from NY.

Love the guys here. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. The other staff are chatty as well. I get an email every week with the new comics in and the ones that were pulled for me. Definitely recommend checking them out as they have more than just books!

Very friendly staff. U wish most comic book shop employees could be as cool and laid back as these guys. Helped me order a shirt they didnt have in my size. Helped me pick out TMNT comics that had good action scenes for an art project I was making. Helped me find a good series to start when I was just getting into Deadpool. Not just pointing me to a corner and saying Good luck! These guys are great.

NIce enough shop off Glenwood. They were my regular shop. Now they are not. They do carry plenty of back issues and trades along with new comics and toys. Staff is friendly enough. Worth a look if you are checking out the shops in the area, which the Triangle is currently blessed with several.

Ive never had a problem here, and the staff is very friendly. The store is clean, easy to find, and is well stocked on release day.That said, as someone only into a couple of comic series, this place has awful subscription policies. I have never been able to subscribe to anything after many attempts due to their archaic minimum levels for subscriptions. Anything that might just maybe not be an ongoing comic doesnt help you reach minimums. Due to this, I am never able to locally buy variant covers of anything Im interested in, and instead have to rely on friends in other places or buy off the internet somewhere.In short - good shop, but if youre not super into comics, dont expect to be able to subscribe to things and help out your favorite author/publisher.

Pretty bummed about this place honestly. They seemed to have a substantial selection of comics, however the whole time I was shopping, the three staff members at the front were loudly talking amongst themselves about dud comic book lines, TV shows, etc. and never offered any assistance or even interest in a potential customer. Maybe I came in on a bad day, but Ill stick to other stores in the Triangle.
