Absolutely the best! Fantastic customer service and hospitality! A little tricky on Google maps for location, its on the lower level. But the cookies.....WOW! DELICIOUS! Highly recommend!

I bought a cookie cake for my husbands birthday, and it was super delicious! Be warned, the cookie cakes are MUCH thicker than your typical ones, so be ware when picking a size. That being said, the cake was super moist, delicious, and stayed good for a solid week after we ordered it. I will 100% recommend this place to friends and family.The only negative is, it took me a while to find the actual location. It wasnt really clear from the website where the front door was and not having a number on their web page to be able to call was kind of odd.Anyway, just make sure you drive all the way around to the other side of the building, and youll be able to find it.

The box of cookies arrived in a timely manner as scheduled per the website notifications. The cookies themselves were absolutely gorgeous and accurate to the photos. At first I could not figure out where the entrance was. Went into the Chiro office, looked around - knew that couldnt be right ---because I did not smell cookies baking!! On closer inspection, I should have noticed the lack of retail space, but still think a prototypical bakery offers premade items, while something like catered treats or cheesecake factory could hint at a long lead time.

I decided on Southern Sugar Bakery after searching hashtags on IG. Their system`is made easy; you just fill out your request online and they reply right away. I also liked that you can put your deposit down to secure your spot. They were very kind and responsive. When I arrived to the bakery it was a little difficult to find but the office above them were extremely nice and directed me to where I need to go. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile. Their customer service was great. She knew exactly who I was an told me how she loved the theme. When I saw the cookies I couldnt believe my eyes they were perfect and exactly what I asked for. I like how they wrap the cookies individually for easy taking. I was able to leave some of them in the bag while others I took out. Lastly, they send you an invoice right way and you are able to pay for everything up front which is great. I would highly recommend this company. Great service, delicious cookies and well priced.

We left a lot of design choices up to them and they were brilliant in the execution. Cookies also traveled well and we had no breakage on our drive with them up to MD for the event. Southern Sugar Bakery has been my go-to for cookie cakes for nearly 3 years now. You arent going to find a better cookie cake in the Triangle. Cookie cakes have always been a favorite of mine, so the standard was high, and SSB has exceeded all cookie cake expectations! I find as many reasons as possible to celebrate and get a cookie cake from them!(Ive also had the sugar cookies and sea salt chocolate chip cookies, which are equally amazing. I had the cookies I ordered mailed to my house (in Texas) and they made it in perfect shape! Each item was wrapped securely with bubble wrap and an air tight package. They smell delicious (even without opening their package)—can’t wait to taste them! I HIGHLY recommend.

I heard about Southern Sugar Bakery on YouTube and decided to give them a try via their wevbsite. I ordered a dozen chocolate chip cookies. It took a while to receive them, which is one of the few reasons Im giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Like I almost forgot about them by the time I got them.I was very pleasantly surprised to find that each cookie was individually packaged in a small plastic bag. This is a fantastic idea to help the cookies stay fresh! The cookies are delicious. They are large and packed with chocolate chips. And not just any chocolate chips. I dont know what kind they use, but they are definitely a level above what most places use. I would not describe the texture of the cookies as either soft or hard. They are somewhere in between. They are easily breakable into bite-size pieces so they certainly arent hard but they also are not like a soft cookie you would bake at home. The cookies sometimes had a bit too much salt for my taste. Not every cookie, but some of them.There was also a lovely Personal Touch Inside the Box. A handwritten note referencing the person on YouTube that I heard about them from and hoping that the cookies were as good as expected. In these days of digital everything, that is a special touch!
