My favorite ice cream joint. The toppings are a dollar tho so keep that in mind if you like to mix in a bunch. The tall guy there will hook you up tho and is not stingy with the ice cream.

The sales associate was not wearing a mask or gloves. He also was managing the cash register and serving ice cream which is unsanitary.

Terrible customer service skills! The one young lady serving me and my daughter did not have take my order correctly and told me what I wanted lol! Who does that?! Sad that this is the closest one to me. I won’t be coming here again.

The ice cream and store was fine and nice.The issue I am having is I was double charged while placing the order through their mobile site, with only 1 transaction email received. I understand this happens so when I get to the store they explain I need to use my login to get the refund processed. Thats understandable too, but here is where the issue starts. I checked out as a guest and tried to make a login at the store. That didnt go over smoothly as I never got the email required to create an account until 20 minutes later. So I had already left the store.Next issue, I went to the website, the online order page and there I found a Contact Us page. Great, customer support is what I need, I thought. Well the page has place holder web info that has never been filled out and dead links. So no way to get a refund that I can find. So now I guess I am going to try a google review and maybe a facebook post to try and get the refund for $13.78 for 2 ice creams.

This place needs work and is below the usually Cold stone standard. Prepare to be nickel and dimed.

We purchased an Ice Cream cake to celebrate a birthday. The cake was damaged or poorly made. I can’t really determine which. The bottom layer is crumbled away. And the gold serving round that it comes on is smeared and dirty. It doesn’t look like a good example of a Coldstone Creamery cake. I called the store to report the problem and ask if I could return the cake and be given a new one that would be nice for the party. I was treated very rudely by the employee who answered the phone. Initially she attempted to explain away the poorly made cake and give reasons why it wasn’t as pictured. She told me that because of COVID 19 restrictions I could not return the cake or receive a refund. In frustration she placed me on hold to call the manager (Bob). Sadly, I was still not offered a suitable solution. I was told that the manager backed what I was told and that I could not exchange the cake or be refunded. I asked for the Corporate phone number for Coldstone and was told to “google it!” I asked for the manager’s name so that I could reference him when I called and was only given Bob.. I then asked for the young lady’s name that I was speaking to and was told that she didn’t feel comfortable giving me her name. How then should I place my complaint?? I don’t think she meant it, however I felt disrespected and disregarded. Manager (Bob) said he’d call me Monday regarding the problem? It’s 6:00 pm on Friday.. A call back 3 days after the Birthday is unacceptable. By the end of the call I was able to get the Store number from the employee. This is my neighborhood Coldstone. I will not return.

I will never visit this location again in life. Hope everyone stop using this location and go to the other ones. I ordered a custom cake for my son 36th birthday, it’s been about 5 years since we shared his birthday together since we live so far apart. Picked up the cake on 9/12 there was a hair on the cake, called the store the girl said I will let the manager know and he will call you on Monday, Monday came no call so I called him. First he said he needed a picture told him I had a picture then he said he wanted the cake threw the cake away, it’s Covid-19 can’t take nothing back but I have a picture and my receipt he got smart and did nothing called corporate and still haven’t heard anything. Please stop patronizing this place. They boxed it, put in a bag yet still no one seen the hair on the cake. Sad!

Ordered a cake yesterday via phone call, we gave our name phone number and even paid for the cake. We arrived this morning to pick it up and the cake was nowhere to be found. The young lady in the front had an attitude and kept questioning whether or not we had ordered it. We showed her the phone call and the credit card charge while she was arguing with her manager over the phone. 20 minutes later we just took the plain cake with no writing to get out. Horrible customer service, go to another location.

Ice cream was fine. Place got crowded. Couldnt hear anything the server was saying. No hand sanitizer available. I asked for sanitizer and was ignored. Made me sign a receipt with pens everyone are touching even during covid worries. Sure enough, I forgot and placed my finger in my mouth a few minutes later to remove a chocolate chip. Hope I dont get ill.

Will not go back. When we got home the order was wron . He said come back another day and I will replace it when we went back he offered a cup to replace the 2 our size that were wrong. sad way to do businesses and we love the business

The staff were super friendly, efficient, and helpful even in the midst of a super busy rush! The custard was fantastic as always. The girls behind the counter were also helpful in helping me make my decision, as it took me a while. Will be back!

This place is disgusting. Employees served ice cream and touched the toppings with no gloves. When I asked them to please put gloves on the lady caught an attitude and proceeded to use the same toppings she touched with bare hands. I ended up leaving. Gross. Would not recommend this facility.

Good ice cream. Place is a little too small to sit and eat inside. Its a busy place so if you decide to stay, prepare yourself for sitting to close to others and the walk ins.

Just had a top three all-time milkshake from this place. The whole family got a milkshake too. Usually we just ice cream it here, and they never disappoint. Place is clean, and the people that work there are positive. To get ice cream elsewhere would be a Greek tragedy.

Where to begin. First they missed two of the add ins I asked for, then instead of waiting on my fiancé they went to the guy behind him after making mine, and then his shake wasn’t even a full serving. It was 3/4 filled and not even a shake. Maybe a splash of milk. If he wanted ice cream with a spoon he would of ordered it. Looks like we won’t be coming back.

Would love to right a review on the ice cream, but we just showed up with our family of six to get a special treat and got told that they decided to close early tonight. Of course, two people are still working and doors were open and ice cream was out. I’m sure the owner would love to know that they just lost all that money. Along with the other 4 people behind us.

I wish the other locations didnt close years ago. Cold stone is where its at- frozen yogurt is overrated. But to each their own. Ive frequented this location numerously and will continue to do so.

Delicious ice cream, nice workers who happily accommodated me when I mentioned having a severe nut allergy. They made my ice cream in a nut free area :) They were pretty quick too.

I miss could stone a lot! I used to work subway next to the cold stone. The owner from cold stone and hes wife, hes son, hes employees all that people are very sweet very nice! I got free ice cream from there few times. They are very friendly specialty the owner is very kind and great parson. I moved in Michigan last year. And I miss them so much!

Great customer service and good ice cream

Normally, when you go into a cold stone creamery, the employees break into a song and dance if you leave a tip. Honestly thats what sets cold stone apart from other ice cream establishments, in my opinion. However, at this location, i left my usual tip, and waited, expecting the usual catchy tunes i had grown accustomed to a cold stone. However, to my disappointment, the dancing was far below my expectations, and the singing wasnt even on key. Not your best day cold stone creamery. The ice cream was okay.

Amazing service and an amazing ice cream at a friggin reasonable price! For starters, the server was very attentive and friendly. It was a little busy, but she went out of her way to take my order ahead of time to reduce the wait. And the ice cream? To die for. I got one of the specialty mixes—the sweet cream mix with pecans and such, and I swear Ive never had anything this good. You havent lived if you havent had this stuff, guys.Way better than Mixxs. Hands down. You owe it to yourself to come here, at least once. Trust me: Im a scientist.

Visited this cold stone on July 14th at 1pm and ordered a milkshake with brownie. When I got the milkshake, it had an entire UNBLENDED brownie in it. I asked to speak to the manager and she offered to remake it for me. A few minutes later, she informed me that they were out of milk. At 1:00pm on a hot Sunday afternoon, the ice cream shop is out of milk. She didn’t offer to reblend my current milkshake or make me a cone of ice cream. She refunded me $6.00 and made sure to let me know that she was supposed to only give me $5.94. I thanked her for the six cents and will never return. This location had horrible customer service and needs better management.

I was honestly exicted when i saw this, havent been to one since i moved down to N.C. i always enjoy picking what goes in so that i can monitor my calories. The small option being around 200 calories depending on what youre getting. Which is awesome. plus you can get points which add to your totall points you get for signing up and who doesnt like free icreamthe large cup iis 6 dollars after taxes etc. boy is the large huge, i ate half and saved the rest for the next day.

This location does not enforce face coverings at all. Several customers standing close with no mask and even the manager (who was on register) kept taking his on and off. Employees were also not wearing gloves while touching ice cream toppings. Very uncomfortable so I left.

It was a nice place, good location but the cashier was handling food and running the register without washing hands between.

Founders favorite is the best, instead of vanilla ice cream get butter pecan.

I purchased an Entertainment online coupon using my Verizon Points specific to THIS Cold Stone Creamery. I drove out of my way to follow EXACTLY what the rules on the coupon declared. To my disappointment...I was told that they do not honor this coupon. Despite it being specifically for THIS participating store. Seems foolish not to honor an Entertainment coupon. Especially on the 4th of July.

Tonight at 6:40 pm...Founders Favorite, gotta have it....we do not have any vanilla ice cream, cannot make it. Ice cream store with NO VANILLA!! Dream sequence -The employee said 25% off anything else....NOT! They stared at us as we looked at each other and walked out! Ka ching!! $40 to Dairy Queen 1 mile away (8321 Brier Creek Pkwy #101).STRIKE THREE-YOURE OUT!!!! Jan. 29 (birthday week) showed employee email from Coldstone Creamery for a BOGO free for this location for on my birthday week. She said they could not honor the special and motioned to a printout on the wall. Just like a previous post, this location chooses not to honor coupons both from outside and their OWN corporate system. Dont waste your time, go ANYWHERE else!!!

They have gone a bit downhill, as time went on. They no longer sing when tipped, dont greet you when you walk in, and normally you have to wait for someone to appear from the back.

Ordinarily I wouldnt go out of my way to write a negative review of a local business. Trust me, as a businessman myself, I know how difficult it is to make a living these days. Hence why its with great regret that I have to report my truly abysmal experience at Cold Stone at Brier Creek tonight. Heres the problem: the staff is NOT trained well. I get it, it was crowded tonight, but frankly that should not compromise quality, especially when a persons health and well-being is on the line.My girlfriend, who is allergic to peanuts, tried to make her order twice, the first time with a young man who pretty much brushed us off, saying he couldnt guarantee a peanut-free environment in their store. I get it, you dont want the liability, you want to cover your butt in case of a lawsuit. Fine. But at least be like all the other Cold Stones Ive ever been to and offer to get some ice cream from the back, prior to it reaching the storefront where mix-ins are added. The kid got frustrated with us and instead of working with us to resolve the issue, he turned to the next customer since we were too much effort.I should note he had already made my milkshake, which was sitting on the counter for about 5 minutes before we got service again. Then another person, a girl this time, came over to us, asked me if the milkshake behind the counter was mine, to which I said yes, and then she threw it away and remade it for some reason. When she finished with that, she came back to the pass and asked what my girlfriend wanted, and after taking my girlfriends order (again, we reminded her of my girlfriends peanut allergy), she grabbed the scoops from the pass and made a motion to start working on the order.Thats where we stopped her, paid for my milkshake and left. The scoops were used to scoop up other icecreams and add mix-ins, which could be contaminated with peanut. They were so crowded that my girlfriend didnt want to make a fuss, so we just left and went to the Cold Stone in Apex at Beaver Creek, which is FAR better.Heres the takeaway: Cold Stone at Brier Creek NEEDS TO BE MORE CAREFUL. If you have customers who tell you they have allergies, please do what the other Cold Stones do: go and get a fresh scoop and a fresh carton of icecream so there are no contaminants. This is enough, just be clean. If you dont know what youre doing, slow down and ask the manager. He was the only guy in the store who knew what he was doing, but it was so busy he couldnt help us. And for the love of God, be more meticulous about dealing with allergies, its serious business. Peanut allergies can be fatal, but theyre easy to work around if youre willing to take the time to do it right! Until they figure this out, its Beaver Creek for us.Oh, and Cold Stone icecream is awesome, its maybe a little pricey but you get what you pay for. At least at Beaver Creek.
