THE place to go in the Triangle for drums, and all your percussion needs. They know their stuff and are totally helpful without any kind of musician egos. I watched one of the guys patiently explain a snare drum to a dad and his son who were obviously shopping for a first drum kit. So simple that I would have assumed everybody already knew it but he did it in the most unpretentious way.They also have the vintage fit Remo heads I needed for my 60s Gretsch kit and answer all my dumb questions too.

This is the best drum store Ive ever been into, most music stores you go to are understocked and it looks like everything has been sitting there for at least a decade and the employees arent always helpful. This place is the opposite though, extremely well stocked, clean and helpful employees that know what theyre talking about. Will definitely be back there at some point.

Yeah I wont be going to any other stores for drum gear again. 2112 is the place!!! Great selection! The staff is so knowledgeable and take their time with you!! The guys talked me through different drum head selections, tuned my snare and 14inch and gave me some great tips. My new drum home for sure!!

I know absolutely nothing about drums/percussion, but...thats totally cool because the guys at 2112 are absolutely incredible. My kid plays drums and at least once a month they excerpt an unexpected amount of patience helping us noobs find what we need. To say the staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond is an understatement!Extremely reasonable prices and great selection of both new and used, and trust me, having access to good used equipment is key on when your kid is just starting out and has a kit wishlist a mile long!

Peter and Cameron were incredibly kind to our family with no basic understanding of drums. Cameron is even willing to drive to Wake Forest to setup the drum set as we have no idea what we are doing! If youre a drummer anywhere near the Raleigh/Durham area you absolutely have to check this place out! I live over an hour away and Im more than happy to make the drive to visit these guys! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and are willing to answer any questions you may have or help you find anything youre looking. They have an awesome selection of new and used kits in all price ranges and if youre looking for gear (anything from hardware, sticks, cymbals, double pedals, drum dials, etc...) theyve got it. Not only do they have a crazy selection of these goodies they have new and used of almost anything you need. The used gear is priced very reasonably and is a great option for anyone on a budget. Another thing that I find really cool about the place is they offer a Rock school for kids and adults in which they provide you with lessons, pair you with a band of your same skill level, provide all the instruments if you dont have your own, and help you find gigs (good gigs). I want to say this program runs about $125 per person. Cant be sure on that but you can find the info on their website. I cant stress it enough. If you are a drummer you will not regret visiting this place. Really good place to do some networking and meet other musicians as well. Check em out!

Hands down the best shop I know of! The only place I can go to find help on repair issues. Monster selection of new and used drums and stuff. Impressive small parts stock. Gigging drummers on staff. Knowledgable and friendly! My only complaint is that theyre about an hour drive from me.

Best customer service I’ve ever had at any type of music store! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable on all the different types and brands of drums they carry. The staff themselves are musicians, and this makes a huge difference in their ability to really connect you to an instrument. We came from Boone, it was worth the drive for sure!

I am a guitar player and was trying to locate a the spongy piece to my Hercules guitar stand. Hercules parent company said I had to contact the nearest authorized dealer which happened to be 2112. I contacted them and received top notch customer service. The staff there stayed on top of KHS until I received that part even though it only costs 22 cents, so there was no way 2112 could make any money on this. If I were a drummer, this would definitely be my one-stop shop for percussion equipment.

Drum central - could spend hours in here! Has a music school with very experienced instructors, also.

Went here with my bands drummer and we were helped by knowledgeable staff, fun people, and found what we need quickly, including help finding a part that weve had trouble finding. Will definitely keep coming here, as a regularly gigging and traveling band, places like these are a huge help.
