I took my truck in for a brake service. When i picked it up the brakes where grinding. I brought it back, they fixed it, a few days later my brakes critically failed. Unacceptable, there wont be a third time is the charm, I will never visit this mechanic again. Costumer service was awful as well, I was met with dishonesty, mark did not stand up to the bad quality of his work and blamed the parts and I fully expect a dishonest answer to my review.

I came there to get the back latch on my trunk replaced and they did a fantastic job and got me an even better part than what was originally on there for less than what anyone else wanted to charge me. They work quickly and do an amazing job, and the pricing is very good. I would go back 100%, also they are all very nice and friendly people.

Everyone there is friendly & knowledgeable. Unlike some Mechanics, they explain the problem without making you feel dumb for not knowing how to fix a car. This is THE place to go to get your car fixed. They are awesome.

I contacted Mark after having my vehicle at another shop and they decided to double my cost of labor to install a motor after deciding Id buy the motor and have the motor shipped to them. Because the other shop couldnt mark up the motor on me I researched some other local shops. After reading some great reviews I decided this was the right shop. I had a motor delivered by LKQ and Mark and his team installed the motor meanwhile contacting me to let me know of some items recommended to change out on the new motor. Mark was very professional and stuck to his quote. The additional items needed were fair in price and labor to install them. Im glad I chose this shop as my vehicle is back on the road and running great again. I strongly recommend these guys for your repairs and service.

Marc replaced my blown 2005 tundra motor and transmission that i purchased at toyota auto mart i live in lake tahoe and had never meet marc he and his crew did a great job very fair price would highly recomend him and his crew he also rebuilt my front end at same time i feel like im driving new truck

Marc did a great job replacing my blown out motor. My car is driving smooth and I feel confident that it is dependable and powerful again. In addition to being a knowledgeable and effective mechanic, Marc is also a really nice guy who took the time to show me how to do basic maintenance on my car. His prices are fair, he is honest, and he treated me with respect. I will go back to Marc for future maintenance or repairs.

As far as auto repair places go...this one is great. Prices are slightly over moderate but they are a trustworthy group.

These guys are great! I was referred by a friend after my window was smashed out in broad daylight. They quoted me a reasonable price that was less than my deductible on Saturday. I called early Monday morning to get my window fixed before the rain came in. They checked for the glass and got back to me within minutes. I drove straight over. Marc and Dan were very kind and welcoming. They had my window fixed in just 1 hour and kept me company while I waited. They gave me recommendations for a good window tinting place as well. They noticed some minor aesthetic issues on my passengers side from a little collision I had with the wall of a parking garage and they patched them up for me no problem. They checked my brakes and fluids to make sure I was safe to get back on the road.I am usually really intimidated going to auto-care places because I know nothing about cars. It can be stressful, costly, and time consuming to deal with, but not this time. They really cared that my car was safe and taken care of. Thank you Marc! I have found my go-to place for vehicle issues! Even with the bad feeling of having my window smashed out I was reminded there are good, honest people in the world!

Great and fast service

I have been taking my cars to A Auto Care since I relocated here from SJ. It’s always been a great experience. They are an honest auto shop. The repairs always match the estimate. I have been ripped off by dealer service in the past. That’s not going to happen at A Auto Care. The service is great!! They drive me to the light rail which helps me get to work when I drop my car off for servicing. I highly recommend this auto shop for quick and affordable service.

We saw this place while driving by and were looking for somewhere to go. We called and then took our Chevy equinox in. Mark was amazing! We felt he was very fair and didnt try to take advance of us. The price was very fair even cheaper than some other places, and they got it done quickly! I would recommend this place, and Mark as hes the one who took care of us. I felt he was very professional as well. We are very satisfied.

My F150 had no AC. Driving an hour to get home in over 100 degrees sucked. I walked in to the store and talked to a Marc. He did a quick Analysis of my AC and told me what he thought was wrong. He was booked out a couple days but he shifted things around and took my truck right in. 3 hours later I’m driving home in the coolest truck I’ve ever been in. I have used Auto Care Plus for 13 years now, Mark is fantastic, honest, trustworthy, and will let you know whats wrong and what needs to be done. I recommended going to him if you want top notch service. My car kept dying. I though I had to replace the battery cables. i was in fact insistent (while I know nothing about cars). Marc was calm and cool and let me know that the cable was loose and fixed it for free. A Auto Care really wants to help its customers. Recommend this place from LKQ, to have a broken Window part put in, I called and asked if they could work on it. they said yes bring it in. I came in shortly - and they got to work on it quickly. - They were able to have it installed in about 1hr, and I was happy. I would go back to have other wotk done here. - Thank you again.

Marc is straight forward and honest. This was my first visit. He drove my car around the block while I explained what I was having issues with. His mechanics fixed my front brakes and a couple belts for a great price. It didnt take too long and my favorite things were that he gave my car a free look over and pointed out things to take care of in the future and he offered to show me my old parts. Marc is an old skool mechanic who does excellent work and wont waste your time or money. He is my new car guy now!

I had a bad power unit that prevented me from raising my drivers side window. The Chrysler dealership wanted me to bring the car in to diagnose the problem so they could order the part. Then, I would have to go in again to have it fixed. From the calls I made I determined that the problem was the motor for the window. I then called the Folsom dealerships parts department and they informed me that they did not have the part. I didnt want to go 2 separate days without my car. I found that the dealership in Elk Grove had one so I bought it. I took the car in on a Friday to A Auto Care afternoon at about 1:00. An hour later it was fixed! I cant say enough about how great Marc and Dan were. In and out. No having to rent a car, no back and forth. I just waited and it was done! I highly recommend this automotive repair company and they can fix any type of car!

This is in response to a review by Neribris. I was the person who sold a 2010 Corvette to him. He contracted with A Auto to provide a pre-purchase inspection including a compression check. A Auto reported no issues with the car, however Neribris is providing false bad reviews claiming that there was a serious transmission issue which caused grinding every time the car was put into reverse. That is false. Occasionally, as I disclosed to the purchaser, when the gear shift lever was pushed before the clutch was completely depresssed, it would mildly scrape. A Auto test drove the car and they said they did not experience any grinding. I believe the person who test drove the car did not experience the problem as I have dealt with them for over 20 years and I owned the car. Ignore the bad review.

I have had two of my cars ( Toyota Prius and Nissan Maxima) repaired at A Auto Care. They were highly professional and completed the work fast without the price gouging that I have encountered from other shops. Whenever I have a mechanical problem, this is where I bring my cars.
