Probably one of the best pool stores around very knowledgeable and great advice. I get my liquid chlorine here Ive been getting it here for around 2 years they are always nice and helpful and help you out to your car. They also will offer you an entry water test which is helpful if youre trying to set up a new system or a seasonal restart. Highly recommended!

21/4 1st time review, but customer for 23 years:-- Was 5+ star when owner operated years back. Now, with knowledgeable, but short-handed, blase staff...plus COVID year two, its just another pool shop (4-Star).‐- Plenty of pool related gear and supplies in stock. Be prepared for your wallet to pay full price, as its not cheap to operate a seasonally retail shop in an older shopping center thats been face-lifted twice in recent years.-- Shop is located in awkward elbow jog of this long strip mall, which means a decent walk from parking to front door. In years past, there was plenty of cheerful, attentive staff at the ready to carry and/or hand-truck the heavier chemicals, pool pumps, etc. to and from the store. Todays trip, the store was void of customers, and my purchase was one tube of gasket grease.-- This is the main pool supply retail store in all of the greater Rosemont, Rancho Cordova, Gold River, and Fair Oaks area until hit a supply store in a strip mall at Fair Oaks & Manzanita.

Callen Pool Supply is by far the best pool supply & repair shop I have have had the pleasure to do business with. Scott the owner was very knowledgeable when it came to repairing my pump and he didnt even charge me to repair it. You just buy the parts through them and they repair it for you for free. What a huge savings for the customer! I really felt taken care of. I will never use anyone else again, he has my business for life! Thank you Scott!

It’s refreshing to see there are still honest and straightforward businesses and people in today’s society. I was having difficulty getting my pool system to charge up after completing maintenance. I called Nate at the store and asked if he provided a service to have someone come evaluate the problem. Instead of sending someone out and charging me a fee for diagnosis and repair, Nate began problem-solving over the phone advising several steps to take to solve the issue myself. He even said to call him back if I still can’t get it to work and he’ll try to help. Long story short, I was able to prime the system and get it fully charged. It works better now than before. Saved me a bunch of money I’m sure. Honesty and kindness is what I experience with this company, and that’s a rarity unfortunately. Thanks Nate

Honest. No BS. Prices are a little higher than Amazon, but its worth the difference - just to get their insights and expertise. They charge by the time and parts it takes for a pump repair. Not by the job - like many other pool places. Very friendly and professional staff and owners/operators. They walk you through repairs step by step and give you all possible options. Their in the field service people try to help - not hurt - your wallet. They give you available options - not single source dictated answers.Its worth the drive for me and I live south of Sacramento.They are right in the middle of pool country. Very convenient mall parking.When something goes wrong with my pool, I know where to go. You should too!

I went here for help with my pool equipment and I recieved wonderful help. Each person helping me was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. When I needed parts they took the time to find the right ones and the best prices and explained every step necessary to install each part. I even received a follow up phone call to make sure I was satisfied with the help. Amazing to see this kind of attention from every employee here no matter how busy they may be.

My sister moved into a house and shes doing the pool maintenance... everyone at Callens is friendly and professional and helpful... they tested the water from her pool and they told her exactly what she needed to get it in Tip-Top shape... said if we took pictures and or a video of the pool and equipment they would go over all the maintenance procedures with her in detail so she can understand how everything works and what to do to keep the pool water in perfect and healthy shape...

The number one chlorine and pool advice shop. These guys know everything! I would ask the manager and staff here before I pay for pool repairs. These guys are very enthusiastic about pools and will be glad to help.

Free water testing, very helpful staff with no pressure to buy anything. Had been using a Clorox brand test from Lowes that kept telling me to add more Clorox brand chemicals making the pool worse. Finally gave up and went to the pool store and they have walked me through getting the water back to clear. Even telling me to hold off on buying some chemicals until we have the others dialed in.

Staff are ALWAYS helpful and ready to educate. Prices are fair, and if they dont have exactly what you want, they will do their best to find a comparable substitute.

First time pool owner and the staff here was friendly and very helpful. I got all my pool salt and sand here for my new filter pump. The store offers free water testing. Once I set up my sand and salt water filter I will be back to test.

Superb customer service!! I am new to the pool world and had a problem with the valve on my filter. Every other pool company wanted to charge me $150-200 plus an arm and a leg for installation on a new one. Scott at Callen pool told me to bring it down to see if he could rebuild it. 24 hours and $15 later (yes… $15) I was out the door. I traveled a ways to get there but they have my business and my recommendation ANY day!! Scott, you are amazing and two broke girls thank you from the bottom of their hearts!!
