We started the buying process of our Bullfrog Spa November 2020. From the beginning Gene was upfront with the process and extended timeline anticipated to be June 2021. We were provided an electrician referral who provided great service and installed our dedicated spa line. In May Gene contacted us to advise that the delivery would be pushed back until August 2021. We appreciated the timely communication from Gene and delivery was set up for a Sunday morning in August. Gene arrived on time to install the spa which is always appreciated. Gene navigated our landscaping and furniture for a smooth install. Gene conducted the initial set up and thorough review of the spa chemical and maintenance schedule. Gene provided simplified written chemical protocols and maintenance instructions to simplify our process. Gene stayed until all our questions were answered. The bull frog tub is great, not many issues over a few years. Gene however is the ONLY guy Id ever buy a tub from. He should teach classes on how to treat customers.

Hot Tub Place is the Bullfrog distributor for Sacramento, and comes highly recommended. Gene is an awesome and genuine person and stands behind his products. Ordering and installation all went seamlessly.We opted for a new M8 (same pumps as A-series with a fancy veneer, but think its worth every penny). The variable pumps are intense and has 3 zones (each for 2 seats). When 1 zone is fed entirely to 1 seat, the pressure feels like a good-painful deep issue massage.The patented interchangeable seat Jetpaks is a plus. Id recommend trying some of these out if possible first, and pick the specialized ones for different areas of the back.Note the M-series require 60W for full functionality, consult the manual carefully and note the electrical raceway locations prior to setup.

Love my Bullfrog! Had a service issue 3 1/3 after owning it. Called Gene and immediately came out and fixed the issue under warranty. Couldnt be any happier.

I bought the Bull Frog Spa X Series and we love it. He provided on time free delivery and I even got a call a day before to confirm the delivery. My Electrician didnt provide enough length power cables and Gene was right there to make it happen at no extra cost. That is services and care beyond expectations. Weve had our A8D hot tub for about a month, and we enjoy every minute were in it. We looked at several other brands of hot tubs before settling on the Bullfrog A8D. We came back to Bullfrog because we like the concept of interchangeable jet packs, (so we can configure it the way we like it), the two lounges, the energy savings and the solid construction. It was a great purchase, and Gene, the sales manager, kept us informed throughout the purchase, delivery and setup processes. Cant thank him enough for his help and advice.

Ok, so I’ve had my Bullfrog spa over a month now. It is so much better than my last one. The jets are much stronger and therapeutic than what I was used to. It is a lot quieter and the temperature is always at 102 degrees no matter what time of day it is. I had to wait several months for it to be delivered, but was well worth the wait.It was a pleasant experience, no pressure and the delivery was in time and very thorough. They went over all the features instead of just dropping off for me to figure out.Would recommend the Hot Tub Place.

After looking at around at a home show, online research, COSTCO and visiting a couple places I found Gene. Great service and great price. Plus no delivery fee and he connected the tub to the electrical. He made sure all the chemicals were balanced before he left. And he had to do a return trip to be able to customize the cover lifter for the spot I placed the spa. No extra charge. I dont really write reviews but after walking out of another spa place that wanted to do a bunch of add-on costs at the last minute, it was refreshing to find Gene. Bullfrog is a great product and Hot Tub Place of Sacramento is the only place I would refer someone to get one. You can buy it on Costco now, but I didnt pay more with Gene and I was able to see, touch and customize from the 15 jet packs available. I have not missed a day in it yet.

17 years we have had our bull frog spa!! Still works like new. They are the very best made, the most powerful jets, easy to maintain...Definitely not cheap but worth every penny. If you want a real quality spa, pay the extra and get the best. You will not be sorry (unless you buy a cheap inferior spa). Tip: keep water in it all summer even if you dont use it with a bit of chemicals to keep the seals moist, it will help prevent leaks as it ages) Would not even consider any other spa after owning one of these.

We purchased our Bull Frog hot tub in 2003 and have enjoyed it ever since. The support from the store helped us keep the tub in tip top condition. recently on sound system went on the fritz. I called the store and asked about replacing the speakers. The owner Gene, came out personally and replaced each speaker. I have had my hot tub for a little over 2 years now and still remember the buying experience. Gene made the process easy and fun. We test drove several jet configurations, before settling on the ones we wanted in our tub.Bulldog allows you to change the arrangement of the jet modules in your tub to suit you. Thou simply unplug the jet modules and move it to another seating location in the tub. Because of this most plumbing is in the module rather than underneath the hot tub. It doesnt look like spaghetti underneath.Because of the 5year warranty, if you have a jet problem you only have tho replace the jet module. Also, any problem, if they occur at all, you call Gene and he gets right on it.I highly recommend Bullfrog spas and Gene, who makes it easy. Test drive before you buy. Check out The Hot Tub Place and you will be very happy with your choice tho use them.

We bought our Bullfrog from Gene about 5 months ago.First of all, Gene was fantastic through the whole process. He wasnt a pushy salesman, just gave the facts and showed us how great bullfrogs are. Just bought the Bullfrog R6L model . . . unbelievably happy with it, have been soaking twice a day since getting it! Ability to choose and move jetpaks and adjust pressure is great, and what really sold me was the energy efficiency as I live up in the mountains. Bought a Bullfrog Spa from Hot Tub Place two years ago and really enjoy it. The spa is great but the service is fantastic. Gene has let me test out new jet packs and offers great advice. Once, when my waterfall feature was not working correctly, he came over to my house with tools and fixed it for me. I highly recommend Hot Tub Place for both the quality of the spas they sell and their on-going service.

Gene is the greatest!!! We did not buy our Bull Frog hot tub from him. We bought it 12 years ago from a shop in Folsom that has closed. I had a problem when I would turn on the pumps the board would freeze up and no buttons would work. Gene spent 45 minutes with me trouble shooting the the problem and advised that he thought it has display panel. He explained exactly how I could remove the old one and replace it with the new one. It completely solved all the issues we were having. Earlier this year I had a pump that was leaking and Gene walked me through replacing it.We Love our Bull Frog spa. 12 years with no problems, using it almost everyday. A couple of new parts and still enjoying it after all these years.

We bought our Bull Frog hot tub from Gene at the Hot Tub place almost two years ago and we havent had one issue with it. We use it 3-4 days a week, rain or shine. The extra insulation in the tub keeps the temp just where we like it without running the heater too much. (About 4.5 hrs/day in the winter...much less in the summer, in fact most of the time in the summer, the heater is off)Great place to purchase a hot tub!Still have to get my batch of beer mixed up :-)

I was interested in purchasing a new spa after my old tub wore out. After looking at what was available in the surrounding market, I came across a Bullfrog Spa. What an amazing and efficient spa. The owner, Gene, was incredibly helpful from start to finish. The wet test is what sold me. The jet packs were in some cases more powerful than all other spas tested. They were also interchangeable so my wife and I could have our choice of therapy where we wanted it and when we wanted it in our favorite seats. We purchased the A7 open seating spa. I highly recommend trying one out before you buy.

OK, heres my situation - so last week my Bullfrog spa started leaking at the main pipe connection to the heater. I figured something was cracked or broken and Id probably need a repair guy to fix it, since I tried briefly to loosen the coupling but couldnt do so by hand and didnt have the right tool. It was time to consult a pro and probably end up paying dearly.So I go into Hot Tub Place, where I didnt actually buy my Bullfrog, and the guy there, Gene, listened to me describe the issue and then suggested a solution. He showed me on one of his tubs how the connection works. Then he actually went in the back and pulled out a pipe just like the one on my tub to show me how to take it apart and access the gasket that was likely the cause.Then he hands me two rubber gaskets to fix my leak. I ask how much I owe him and he says no charge. So not only did he teach me how to fix it and save me a visit from a repair tech, but he even GAVE me the parts (yeah, theyre just rubber gaskets, but still, thats cool). Gene was right about the gasket. I went home and fixed my leak. Last night I was back in the tub!This is the kind of customer service you hope for in any business, and especially when it comes to plumbing. I definitely wont be going anywhere else for my hot tub needs - these guys are awesome.In case anyone wonders about the tub, Ive had my Bullfrog for almost 9 years and it has been a solid purchase; if or when it ever dies (and these guys cant help me fix it), Ill buy another one.

After extensive research on various makes and models of spas and investigating the construction and options available on those spas, I found the Bullfrog brand to be superior in all respects. Also, I have found the customer service received from Gene at the Hot Tub Place of Sacramento to be outstanding. The video library on his web site has been a very helpful and is much easier than reading the manual.If you are in the market for a spa I highly recommend stopping in at the Hot Tub Place of Sacramento to check out the Bullfrog spas. Gene has several models in the store for you to see in person and will even let you wet test one to help you decide which jet arrays you want.

My wife and I have owned 4 different brands of hot tubs and Bull Frog has been the most reliable one yet. Gene at The Hot Tub Place of Sacramento did a great job in delivering and setting up the hot tub within the time frame promised. Now we have had our tub for two years and only two things have gone wrong and that was with the after market stereo system put into it. Gene has been amazingly quick and positive when responding to the problems and he even covered the cost. We live about an hour away from their store, but that does not stop him from coming out or mailing what we need. Thanks Gene for making our hot tub a relaxing experience.

We purchased a Hot Tub from this Company in December of 2013. The service was wonderful and the salesman personally delivered the Hot Tub (so that we would have it when the crew building our deck was ready for it) and explained how to install and wire it to or work crew and electrician. I researched hot tubs quite a bit and sadly determined I’d have to spend twice what I was hoping to spend. i visited a few hot tub stores in Rocklin and Roseville and found it difficult to get focus from salesmen. I then asked my Facebook friends for recommendations. The Hot Tub Place was highly recommended so I went there and spoke with Gene (owner). He spent a long time with me, let the phone calls go to voicemail, and answered all of my questions. He schooled me on quality hot tubs. On my drive home I came to terms with spending more than I had budgeted but I felt it was absolutely the right thing to do. I needed more of a therapeutic hot tub for my daughter who has cerebral palsy and spasticity. Bullfrog hot tubs have options for types of jets and what they’re best for. You can also swap out the “jet packs” if you need a different type of therapy. Legs back neck etc. The cheaper hot tubs are just bowls of hot water with spouts hitting you. Bullfrogs are carefully thought out and they are amazing. Gene is amazing too. He referred me to a super electrician as a bonus. Now that it’s installed we are enjoying it a ton.

I started writing my review and realized that it went on and on. So I am cutting it short and sweet. I have a 2005 Bullfrog Spa. Still runs strong!!! 11 years....need I say more?? Gene is awesome and always there to help me. Do yourself a favor....if you are looking to buy one? By a Bullfrog. You wont be sorry!!

Love my Bullfrog Hot Tub. Glad I listened to the advise of the other Hot Tub stores and walked into The Hot Tub Place of Sacramento. You dont realize how competitive the Hot Tub market is until you walk into a couple of stores. Let them know you are looking at other brands and they are quick to tell you the flaws of that brand, all except Bullfrog. The worst they came up with is why would you want to move your seats, or Bullfrog uses inmates to make their hot tubs. This intrigued me and I had to investigate. Met Gene and it was great to meet someone who talked about his product and bashing the competition wasnt his style. I quickly saw why his competitors wanted me to stay away. 90 percent fewer hoses and no wood that can rot were big for me. Moving the Jetpacks around wasn’t important to me at first until my Bullfrog arrived and I figured out my favorite seat. Now I am able to change what massage I want in about 30 seconds.Customer service is awesome. I remember stopping by to pick up some supplies and get some advise on the best settings for my Bullfrog. I mentioned it would be nice if he had some videos because I could see how it could be a little intimidating to set up. Next visit and Gene is showing me all the Videos he created and loaded to his website. To me that’s what customer service is about! I highly recommend!

Gene is a straight shooter. We knew what we wanted before we came to the showroom. All that was left was the details. He has many spas set up to look at and set in. Bullfrog is by far a quality spa that we found to fit our needs better than Master or Sundance. With the Bullfrog we have the option of changing out the jet set packs. How cool we thought. As inovations come through we can simply buy a new jet pack and pop it in. Overall Gene treated us with respect, listened to our wants and gave us a deal we are happy with.I recommend

We recently discovered the pumps in our Bullfrog spa were not working and contacted Gene to see if he could make a service call. Gene stopped in on his way home from work and found the problem in short order. A quick repair was made and we were back in business. Gene even sent us a couple of new stickers for the controls, as the old ones deteriorated and were sticking to the lid when we opened it. We were very pleased with the service and would recommend Gene to anyone needing service on their spa.

Excellent and prompt response to maintenance issue with hot tub. Called to inquire about a switch not functioning and a leak. Sent a photo of the leaking area and Gene diagnosed the problem and said he could fix it within a few days. He did what he said he would do!! Thank you so much!

I learned from visiting other spa stores that bringing my swimsuit is a must. I jumped in the demo Bullfrog tubs and was instantly impressed with the variety of jets and ease of sliding from one seat to another. Gene was easy going, provided information, and there was no sales pressure. He gave us a great deal and threw in a few free items. These tubs sell themselves. We bought an R7 and have had it three weeks now and absolutely love it. Switching packs is nice since the seats are slightly different heights (to accommodate a variety of people, or different parts of your back, I suppose). The only thing we dont like is the logo light in the front since our spa pad is slightly elevated and it shines horizontally into our bedroom window. I just velcroed a cover over it. So far very happy with the spa.

Gene is a compassionate pro. Hes knowledgeable, thorough and personable. He listens and takes his time and offers considered opinions and solutions that take your budget into account. I called him to describe a 10-year-old Bullfrog spa that suddenly had turned cantankerous. Gene walked me through trouble-shooting steps and had me e-mail him photos. Long and short: His diagnostic steps resolved the issue without him having to come out for a diagnosis or a repair. Hint: just hold the phone up to your spa and let it hear his voice - itll scare your spa straight.

Weve had our bullfrog hot tub for 10 years and it works great. Very solid construction, both pumps still working fine and even the electronics are all still in good shape.

We love our bullfrog spa!!!!!!!!!!So great after a long day at work, or for the kids after soccer games or sports. Great for the whole familly, we have had ours for years and it still works like brand new - easily the best brand we have seen - i recomend it to any one that is looking into getting a hot tubs.

Gene helped me out re-wired the Bulfrog spa that I bought from the other deceitful dealer in Elk Grove long story but Sean the owner of Elk Grove store would not correct the problem. I should have bought the my Bullfrog spa from Gene at Hot Tub Place of Sacramento in the first place.

Gene was great! He has tried a reprogram of our top end controller on our very old Bull Frog hot tub to hopefully save us $500 on a new pump! He will follow up with us tomorrow.Thanks Gene!

I bought my hot tub from Gene in 2012. It has been a rock solid purchase. The buttons work and the jets turn like the day they delivered it. I was impressed with their jetpak seating. Very efficient plumbing and less holes drilled in the shell, thats what sold me. I was told they were the most energy efficient hot tub built and they were right. My bullfrog costs me about $15 month to run and I am in it everyday. My old spa costs me $40-$50 a month. I love the jetpak seats and the ability to move them where we like them.I needed four new pillows the other day, stopped by their store and that had them on the shelf. Another reason why I like the guys at the hot tub place. They were great throughout the whole process. Great product and great customer service. Bullfrog Spas in a word - awesome. Just awesome. Ive owned mine now for over 10 years. In those 10 years there have been remarkably few problems that were not user created ( broken jet on one of the packs.....teenagers grrr). Theres been some cosmetic issues..a jet button had to be siliconed back on, the sticker for the controls is peeling off, but are those huge.....no. The pumps, the heater, the internal workings....flawless. The exterior paneling, the interior finish of the tub itself...never a single issue. The ease of swapping jet packs around...incomparable. Since most ALL the plumbing is located within the body of the tub any minor leaks that developed leaked directly back into the tub....not externally. Maintenance has been a breeze, and the few O-Rings Ive had to replace over the years have been easy to get right here at the Hot Tub Place. If you are in the market for a hot tub compare these Bullfrog Tubs to the competition. Look at the miles of tubing the other brands utilize that all hang below the tub...difficult if not impossible to service when the time comes. The Bullfrog design just makes sense, and the electronics from even 10+ years ago have been top notch and problem free. As close to worry free hot tubbing as your going to get!!!
