Sometimes the best things are right in our own neighborhood. I found Sleepfirst to be one of those not well known gems. My wife and I searched for a mattress for weeks at quite a few retailers. They offer a range of quality mattresses from low budget to high and also have clearance items.Jyllian was very helpful giving us insight and helping find the mattress we liked. Her patience and helpful insight found the perfect set for us. Never trying to push something on us that we couldnt afford or didnt want but rather gave us plenty of space and time.Id like to thank her again fir her help.

Just purchased my first mattress ever here as an adult and Jyll from the Rancho Cordova store was amazing in helping me find one that was around my budget and was actually really nice! She went above and beyond in making sure I was getting it for as low as possible. Great experience at Sleep First in Rancho. I was in and out in about 20 min and the service was great. James was very helpful and answered all my questions. I started off spending time researching mattresses online, then I popped into Macys and JCP, then I randomly stopped by Sleep First in Rancho Cordova and immediately knew I was going to buy my mattress there. This was the first mattress store we stopped at that afternoon.Kim approach us, as soon as we entered the store and kindly offered to help show us a variety of mattresses. I enjoyed kims kind and professional persona . She was very helpful in choosing my bed and what would meet my need in choosing the right bed. Her patience and understanding of her clients is very appreciative . It was easy to make a decision and have her orchestrate the purchase. The only thing that was disappointing was that I was quoted one price then changed my payment for my deposit. At fist I was approve for $750.00 then we had to resubmit the application due to a deposit needed to be added in . The finance gave me lesser amount to be finance of $500.00. It was very disappointing and still leave me with questions how could that happen approved then change to a lesser amount.

1st time customer/review 19/11 specifically for Black Friday sale printed ad received US Mail earlier in week--looking for $250 mattress that was included at top of ad in section that touted free box spring, free delivery, and no sales tax.Another group walked into store same time for same reason. While the store was well lit, clean, presentable and the representative nice, both groups were sorely disappointed walking out when salesman insisted the free box/del/tax did not apply to that mattress even though both groups produced a different printed version of the same proclaimed sale.

Was in need of a bed and somehow stumbled in here and definitely glad I did. They have a great selection of beds to choose from and the staff is extremely helpful. They care about finding you the right bed and I really appreciated that. Even slept on the bed I purchased for 10 minutes while I was there! Thanks Xavier!

I had the luck of being helped by a top salesman. I walked in there with a budget and walked out barely paying anything over it (and thats only because I wanted the mattress with a little extra memory foam). He really let me pick his brain about all my mattress questions from the ones in the store to ones I looked at online. I bought a mattress on February 17th. The process of buying the mattress, box spring, and frame was fairly easy and smooth - hence the five star review I left a few weeks ago (I also got a free pillow thrown in for writing the review when I bought everything).What hasnt been easy, is the delivery. I was told I was to be given free delivery on the 28th of February. I received a call on the 21st of February stating that my mattress was ready for pickup. I called back and told them that I had been told I was given free delivery. The person I spoke to apologized and said that he would figure it out. Within the next two days, he reached out to me and said that he had spoken to the warehouse and put it on the list for delivery.I gave them my hours of availability for delivery, and all seemed well. The day before I was supposed to have it delivered, I was told that I needed to be at work half an hour earlier than usual. I called and told the gentleman (James, I believe) who picked up the phone that I was calling to let them know of my slight change of schedule. He interrupted me, stating that they cant guarantee a specific time for delivery - his tone was curt and rude. I told him I understand that, but that I would be leaving a half an hour earlier than the time I stated and that no one would be home. He changed his tone, and said that he would figure it out and get back to me.A few days passed, with no response back from Sleep First. I called and asked about the delivery situation again. A man answered who was very polite and apologetic about the situation (I cant remember his name unfortunately) and said that he would reach out to the warehouse and I should hear back within a day.A day passed.. and I heard nothing. I called again, and the same polite gentleman answered. He apologized profusely, and asked me to confirm my hours of availability for delivery. I did, and he said that he would figure something out.A few days passed.. and I heard nothing. Yesterday, I got a phone call stating that my delivery time was between 3:30 and 6:00. I told the man on the phone that I got off work at 6:00 and would not be home until roughly 6:15/6:20. He said okay, and that he would reach out to the warehouse to see if they could manage that.Today I received a call at 3:20 - I was at work and unable to answer. As it turns out, it was the delivery team trying to delivery my mattress (when I have specified, more than once, that I leave my home at 1:00 and am not home until after 6:00).I called Sleep First this evening to check on the delivery situation, and the man who answered said that the delivery team tried to deliver it to me today. I told him about my available time frame, and that I was at work (as I had stated multiple times that I would be). He is going to reach out to the warehouse and try to get it delivered to me within my time frame at some point next week.It is Thursday; on Saturday it will be three weeks since I bought the mattress. I was initially incredibly impressed with the store - the price, the in-store experience, and the man who sold it to me was great. I also got a free pillow for a good review, as it was their grand opening. But unfortunately my impression of Sleep First has tanked. It has been almost three weeks, and their communication with me and each other/the warehouse is little to none, and I am still waiting on a mattress that I paid for.Overall, I would skip the hassle and go elsewhere.

We went to check out Sleep first the other day to get some price estimates on Adjustable beds. Store manager Kawal was very knowledgeable about all the questions we had, he took his time explaining to us all of the benefits of different kinds of mattress brands and Adjustable bases. They had some of the most popular recommended brands like Tempurpedic, Stearns&Foster, Sealy Posturepedic, Nectar etc. We felt very comfortable purchasing our new mattress set with One full year to try it!
