Very Good experience--they were very helpful

Over priced junk, I bought a mattress and box spring that was overpriced at $1500. The box spring broke the first month and instead of replacing it they wanted me to take a day off work so they could send some jack leg out to piece it back together, I didn’t pay that kind of money to wind up with a patched up piece of junk. They don’t know the meaning of customer service, all they care about is making a sale. They are rude and unprofessional. Even good will has better stuff than the junk Schwels sales

Schewels home it’s not run professional my wife went in there today we have done business there many many years never had a problem they told us things exchanged there it will be ran different refused our credit line I have on my i Business for 20 years never had a problem anywhere they need new management

I was very unhappy with my purchase, in fact I going to return it. Nothing was explained correctly, seems like the salesman just want to make a deal. I even returned on yesterday after my purchase on Saturday, and still I am not satisfied. I am older woman and I believe things should be explained. Your company sent me a flyer and yet nothing on the flyer is fact. I will be in contact by Friday. Thank you

Needed a 25,000 btu window unit to replace old one,Lowes nobody had one in stock and would have to wait days for it,I just happened to think Shewels,so I gave them a shot,had a brand new Frigidaire unit in stock,cash price was same as if I had ordered one and I didnt have to wait,service was great!!

Great store and great Sales People. As you walk in they greet you like family. Make you feel comfortable going over merchandise, and any thing you look at in the store, and finance department will work with you to get that what you need.

Staff went out of their way to make sure that this was easy and quick because I was running way behind they were almost ready to close they were great as usual they always are Ive never had a bad experience since Ive been dealing with store thumbs up to everyone and thank you very much

I ordered an entertainment center and 3 tables last week from Dave at the Reidsville location. I opted to pick the pieces up myself to save the $99 delivery charge. When I picked the furniture up they bought out 2 boxes. That’s when I found out I have to assemble it all myself. Dave never once mentioned this. I am very frustrated with this so called customer service. I will never spend another dime in this store. The staff seemed like they didn’t care when I asked why was I not informed that the furniture came not assembled. I discourage anyone from doing business with Schewels. The items were advertised to be “tax free”. Guess what? They charged me tax.

I have been with Schewels Furniture for over 20 years. I love their furniture. I love how they work with you, especially in the Reidsville store. They are friendly there and that says a lot.

Didnt have what I was looking for.

Ive been doing business here for over 15 years last year my lawnmower blew up it was old and I had to get a washer dryer and stove last year didnt know if I could get a lawnmower and times are very tuff they worked with me and I got the riding mower i wanted staff has always been very nice to my family will be doing business with them for many years to come

They are friendly and very courteous and they have decent quality furniture for a reasonable price. A good plan e for most.

Good place to get nice things for your home

Ordered a king size bedroom suite plus $1000 mattress and topper. My set arrived with the larger dresser scratched and damaged. I called the store who said they’d place a new order to switch out the dresser. A week passed and I never heard back so I called again to figure out where my replacement dresser was... they said they forgot to call me to tell me it was ready. Ok? So my new delivery date was set. I took off work for this specific date. They take my damaged dresser out and bring in another dresser with the entire side smashed.... shocked to say the least. Anyways, they take it back out to the truck then leave... leaving me without any dresser at all! I called the company asking what’s going on and they told me that they didn’t know it was damaged and they placed a new order but it’s on back order so i’d be without a dresser for who knows how long... now I’m freaking out because my dresser that i paid cash for is gone and i have to call the delivery guys to get my oringal dresser back. As I’m speaking to the manager... She says there’s nothing she can do and if I have a problem then she’ll send the delivery guys back to pick up the entire set and refund my money and I should contact corporate giving me their number. Of course the manager knew that corporate doesn’t answer and is just a voicemail system... simply put I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy and you should shop somewhere else! The entire company, not just this location is a sham!!!

Edit #2-today they sent me a text for preferred customers, which I will post to the photos here. If I was a preferred customer, Id hate to say what they would do to the non-preferred customers.Edit 8/9 2018- I see Schewels replied to say they have tried everything to resolve my concerns. But they havent offered me a single thing to even show good faith. They never returned my call after I had the initial contact with the corporate customer service. Oh, well. Im pre-approved for credit there, but Ill HAPPILY spend my money anywhere else, when I go get a new loveseat and bedroom suite. Caveat emptor.I bought a reclining loveseat from my local Schewels in April of 2016. I wasnt impressed with any of the sales staff, as they were distant, and not friendly. However, I did love the look of the loveseat and purchased it with the warranty they sold. In March (2017), eleven mos later I could not recline one side. Upon inspection, my husband saw that there was a welded bracket that was sheared off. On 3/7 I called and spoke with Misty, who said she would send a repair specialist. He did come out, looked at the issue, and took pictures. He specifically said it is a manufacturers defect. Misty called me after he sent her the information. She said the repair parts were on order. So, flash forward, to May, and my loveseat cannot be reclined. I called to get an update on the issue. Crystal answered the phone, but ultimately put Misty on to tell me that we are at the mercy of the manufacturer. The part was not installed until August of 2017. Flash forward to summer of 2018. The loveseat recliner broke again, the same way, same place. I called the store in August of 2018, ultimately speaking again to Misty. She told me that the unit was out of the manufacturers one year warranty and that theres nothing they can do. I told her I had bought the warranty, and, according to their website, the 5 year warranty covered reclining units, her reply was that they didnt offer that warranty at the time. I asked if they could offer me a credit or discount on a replacement piece, which is a simple customer service request, a gesture of good will. Again, she only repeated that the loveseat is out of warranty. I looked online and the warranty says that recliner units are covered but again, Misty said that wasnt the warranty they had 2 years ago, that they offered a warranty against stains only! I finally called corporate customer service today, and the representative told me the same thing. She has, at this point, offered to call the local store manager, Misry, but I dont want to give more of my money to Schewels. With a staff that isnt even expected to apologize for a poor experience, or offer any creative solutions, I cant imagine buying another thing from them. This is a large purchase, at over $1000, including the warranty and delivery. And if you get a bad piece of furniture, that breaks repeatedly in the same place, sorry, youre on your own.

Bought furniture last year to the tune of $2000.00. Two of the three pieces are broken, and its out of warranty by 6 months. We cant get any help from schewels. This is the last time we buy anything from schewels.

I went to look at the mattress covers and I had the associate rushing me as if I had to buy something. If I planned to buy that day, I changed my mind just because of her attitude.
