I called the store about a fridge I had seen on their site. Dennis at the Gender Rd. Location was amazing. He sent me a ton of photos, answered a million questions and had quick responses before I even made it to the store. Once there he was able to show me several other models he had, and we ended look at several other things. Will definitely be back for more items when we get closer to finishing our remodel and needing the rest of appliances.

I found a washing machine online at their local store and so before placing an order I called to see if it was available. Of course no one would answer the call after trying a few times. So I placed the order and went to borrow a truck so I could pickup my item. Two hours later, I was on the way there and I get an email that says the item is no longer in stock and I would have to call to “request” a refund. This is complete BS and they should never do business like this. I will NEVER AGAIN do business with this store!

Steve was AMAZING! Coming in the door he was busy but kept acknowledging me, which is a plus in my book. He made sure I had everything I need for my mattress set up. I’ve visited several American freight stores before and his was by far the best!

New manager, Steve, was extremely knowledgeable and very kind. I didnt know what I needed or even wanted in a mattress. He actually had a helpful process of questions to figure it out, and didnt just hover like a vulture, as the salesperson in the previous stores had..Im a little gun shy on large purchases, Steve helped nudge me without being pushy. It was a good balance and much appreciated, as I needed to pull the trigger.The store has a little bit of everything, furniture and appliance needs. Though I only went in for 1 thing, I didnt shop around much.Overall, a most pleasant experience. Definitely recommend.Looking forward to a good nights sleep and sweet dreams, thanks Steve!

The head manager Steven at the Brice rd location told me it would be 2 days for my stove to be delivered. For the next two weeks I was lied to, put on hold for 30 minutes at a time, just to be told more lies and told it was the manager at Morse rd fault. Once I contacted the Morse rd manager, I was told more lies about delivering my stove, which I never received. They even told me it had been marked as delivered, on top of that I had already begun making payments!!!After 3 weeks of just nonsense, unprofessional tactics by American Freight and childish behavior from the managers, I gave in and cancelled my order, and am skeptical about if I will really get my refund back. Terrible customer service from Steven at Brice rd and the manager at Morse rd, beyond terrible, nether should be manager anywhere.

Walked around and asked for help regarding bunk bed mattresses. I was shown a few then put on hold bc he had to finish something at the counter. Cool no worries. Sat down and waited for 10 min with no it will just be one more minute Im sorry ill help you asap or checking back in.... so I walked out and made sure I walked passed the guy who helped me and another rep was also at the counter... I told them its okay dont worry about it. Wasnt stopped or mama Im sorry I can help you now or the other even for the other rep to address my inquires. They didnt say a word and let me walk right out along with my money. Ill continue to shop at the Morse Rd and see Johnny who always offers great help and service.

Went looking for a twin mattress. Walked in not greeted by any one. Look around for 10 to 15 mins. Make a decision on what I want to purchase . Stand in front of check out counter employee setting a dryer down doesnt even acknowledge us standing there. Stood there a couple more minutes waiting to be acknowledged but never happened. So decided to leave and take my business to Ashleys right across the street. Walking out walked by the salesman didnt even engage with us asking if there was anything we were looking for.Thanks Ashleys for my new mattress and great customer service.

We needed a basic fridge for our rv. The online info to the store was incorrect we got a new system. We drove from Hilliard for an appliance that was in stock and available for pick up. Then there was only 1 man working the floor my manager left for a bit.The man was nice, helpful, and kept his cool though there were probably 6 people shopping and needing assistance. I applaud him for keeping his composure.Disorganized overall.

Walked in to purchase a mattress set and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Steve and he assisted me with the whole process. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and I was able to purchase the mattress set that was best for me and I even learned a few things from him! Ive called this place in several occasions since purchasing furniture with them. Just yesterday I spoke to a associate to let them know I want to schedule a pickup for the bedroom I purchased a couple weeks ago ( after calling serial times of no pickup) So they guy finally answered after I had to call the store on Main Street asking what do I need to do to get in contact with the Canal Winchester location because no one was picking up ans I am trying to pick up my merchandise...And if this is going to be a problem Ill just get my money back. He told me that well just go in and get your money back...I was like wow what a great way to handle your customer that just paid for a bedroom set cash straight out. But anywho. I called the brice location back and finally got a pick up...And I told him I was coming to pick up my things and would like to set up a day and time and told him Ill have my uhaul truck on today and this is when Ill be able to pick up ( if they would have picked yo tbe phone before hand they would have known in advance) now the man comes back to the phone and says he doesnt think he has the dresser and mirror!!!!!! Im like what!!??? He says that he has to check and see if he has it and if not then they will have to pull from another store....So I said when will you know?? Every since yesterday evening he has not got back with me..I called this Morning,no answer and called again then he picked up...Only to say he will call me back he had to check...That was over a hour ago!!!!! This is POOR customer service. Theyll never get my business AGAIN!!!!!

Went in looking at beds and the manager Steve that just took over the store. He is the person to go see. He knows his beds and he is very friendly polite the best in sales.

Not much inventory and what was there was falling apart.

Update: issue still not resolved. Confirmed delivery for yesterday and they never came . Called Morse rd and they said we had to work with gender road and they weren’t delivering to us. Asked for distract manager number and of course its automated response and you can’t speak to a district manager. Only a supervisor who I left a vm and never got a call back.Update: when it was delivered the delivered people called us and said they didn’t want to deliver because it was their day off. They finally delivered around 4pm. Took all evening for us to put the bed and dresser sets together only to find out our dresser was damaged and the drawers in the bed were damaged. Now we have had the run around working with the Morse Rd store. It has been a nightmare. They are supposed to redeliver and switch it out but they wanted us to repay delivery and on top of that won’t even give us a timeframe for delivery. The deliver drivers have been the issue. Also never got our mattress cover that we were supposed to get in our package. Steve from Reynoldsburg and Nick from Morse Rd have been great at trying to get everything resolved.First time shopping for mattress and bedroom set. Steve was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and was able to provide us with great customer service. Also if you are a first time mattress buyer and are not sure where to start he can explain to you the differences. Definitely would recommend working with him!

I purchased a bed and 2 rugs from this location in July. I was told the rugs would be delivered with the bed, and the bed would be assembled for me. The bed arrived damaged and the rugs did not arrive at all. There was no assembly. I have called the salesman about the missing rugs and he tells me hell call me when they come in .. or the phone just rings endlessly until it disconnects.

Went there to get Kenmore appliances. The purchasing process was easy and the clerk was attentive & helpful. There was confusion when the washer & dryer were delivered, but Manager Jeff was amazing! Immediately, he offered a remedy that benefitted me the most! Hes a Rock Star when it comes to customer service and because of this treatment, I will purchase all future appliances here! This was a great experience and Ill drive out of my way to come here. BTW, this was not a paid endorsement.

The sales process was quick and easy the delivery however was not. The delivery team demanded additional cash $40 upon delivery and did not remove the old appliance for recycle even though I was charged for the that service. Will shop elsewhere next time. Have had no response from the company at all!

Went Sears Outlet to replace a dryer they sold me that malfunction and Ill tell you that there was a assistant manager named John that worked there and he was super awesome. He knew is stuff for sure. He was very knowledgeable of the products and the companys and the history. Hes customer service was outstanding. Ask for him if you need help.

They had washing machines, which was a step ahead of Appliance Smart! Very polite staff and helpful. Tons of selections and they had a really good sales happening. Checking out was an adventure and we learned to check the receipt before leaving the store. We will come back in the future.

They dont have much in this location they are still trying to get more merchandise I would reccomend going to the one on E.Main St for more options until they are able to get more merchandise at this location but overall was a good experience for what they had.

Bought a twin mattress that once got home realized wasnt very good for 100 dollars, I bought a mattress on sale elsewhere that was way better for same price. Wasnt impressed. Pricey for scratch and dent appliances. I saw new refrigerators at Lowes for close to their prices. Furniture was a bust would never buy their furniture at this particular location. Have bought living room and bedroom furniture from store on main street and it lasted years. But here there furniture is cheap and pricey.

Unimpressed with the timeliness of delivery. Delivered a day late and wasn’t delivered early the 2nd day. Brand new dryer didn’t work and again, a replacement was not delivered quickly.

Parking lot not cleaned off ice and snow when inside no one to help us the place was empty 2 employees sitting at the back register left after 15 mins went next store to Lowes bought my dishwasher there you lost a sale

Do Not Deal With This Store we paid for a sofa and have been waiting 5 days for delivery!! Now they’re saying they don’t have a delivery guy and they don’t all sales are final so we have paid for a product and can’t get the product or our money back save yourself the trouble don’t deal with them!!!

This place is a little crazy, some workers were very knowledgeable and some not so much. We went with the intent to by a dryer we saw online and they pretty much talked us out of it...I bought my new dryer at a regular Sears store online and very happy with it.

I really love the mattress we purchased

Went in today 07/08, was greeted when I came in by older man with white hair, told him we were just looking at the time. Me and fiancé looked around for about 30 minutes or so and found a couch, loveseat, fridge, and dishwasher that we were interested in buying, today. While we were ready to talk to someone, which there were 2 people in the store, 1 which isn’t the guy who greeted us is helping another family. The other person, the old man who did greet us, was on the phone . I respectively waited by the desk he was at over 6ft away. He was on phone for probably 20+ mins, which isn’t what I cared about. What was irritating is I stepped away for 30 seconds, come back to the desk and I see him in an office sitting, not on the phone. Once he comes back out, and after seeing me, knowing I was needing his help, a person who came in after me he goes and greets without acknowledging me and while walking right past me. Thts where this became a 1 star review. I then got a little upset and felt I had to push myself into the other customer and his conversation and asked for help and he didn’t look at me and said “someone else is here”, I asked “where” he said “idk”, with no eye contact or a care in the world that he could have had an easy sale. I said alright and I walked off. A few minutes go by and he is done with that customer he helped. I then go to the desk and he goes “what can I do for you” in a tone that was obviously forced. I replied with “do you guys do bundle deals multiple items. He then goes, with extreme passive aggressiveness, no, and then proceeded to try and sell financing that helps cut the cost of total down. I don’t mind there’s no bundle deal, I wanted to ask because who isn’t looking for a deal on anything? There was no desire to serve the customer the whole time I was in the store. Just a waste of the day! Just felt I wanted to share my experience .

I visited the Sears Outlet in Reynoldsburg last week looking for a refrigerator. They have a great selection there and John assisted me with my purchase. I did some comparison shopping prior to going to Sears and the model I wanted (a Kenmore, highly rated by Consumer Reports) was at a very good price.My old refrigerator was on its last legs, so I was somewhat of a hurry to get the new one delivered. I live some distance north of Columbus, but they were able schedule delivery of the new one within just a few days.The day after I made the purchase, I realized that I have ordered the wrong model. I called John and before the day was over, he fixed the order for me and was still able to meet the agreed to date for delivery.The Outlet store has a large selection of refrigerators and other name brand appliances. I would recommend visiting their online page or the store itself for any appliance purchase.
