DIY repair from 2 tornados, about 5 hail storms (2 very bad ones), and a winter storm. I bought a $100 bag of goodies from this Home Depot. They are well stocked right now, but prices are high. Im not staying in Dallas, so I try to patch up damages from these storms my best. Home Depot is good! Selection of some items is very limited. Our 51 year old house in Dallas has scars from years of bad storms, surgery leaves scars, broken hearts leave scars. I was standing near the door during some bad storms, I could hear the wood in the attic creaking. I could hear sirens in the background. I could feel large hailstones pelting the roof. The sky turned from blue to ebony in only a few minutes. The storm passed and the outside looked like a bomb went off.
I had come to hate Home Depot years ago, switched my business to Lowes where it seemed the merchandise was of higher quality, and you could at least find somebody to help you when you had a question. Well, the tables have seemed to have turned. Over the past year, Ive found Home Depot employees to be unbelievably helpful, and in many cases downright kind. This has been my consistent experience all over the country. In the meantime, Lowes has seemed to have cut back on available employees considerably, and a lot of them dont seem to be happy if and when you can find one to talk to...
The employees were friendly and helpful and had what I needed, I was in and out in a flash.
The best customer service from Charles and Christine in the paint department. They both went above and beyond to assist me even providing information that I wasnt aware. I really appreciate them both especially Charles you are a rare gem in the service industry. Thank you so much!!
I met a gentleman who works there (and whose name I forgot to ask) who knew exactly where everything I was looking for could be found. Amazing guy! Hes a keeper!!!!
The nursery section here is a bit smaller than other locations. The store is well organized and staff was friendly. Its a typical Home Depot, nothing mind blowing but dependable.
This is an update. I want to apologize for my first review, actually Home Depot have nothing to do with the low quality of the product I bought, it was the brand that I first purchased in 2014 and was impressed back then so when I needed a new fan, I decided to go with the same brand. Unfortunately, the brand is a total trash now and waste of money which I confused with Home Depot service which deserves a 5 Stars as indicated.Just in case you wonder what brand, it Lasko!
Great company. Needed to return a gas powered hedge trimmer and they took it back with no issues. Trimmer was good product but it didnt meet my needs.
With regard to checkout lines and wait time, the Richardson Coit Rd location is consistently short on both counts
The best Home Depot in the entire DFW area. They offer the best customer experience. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they always seem to have a little better selection than the other stores.

The very first time I came to the storeI was looking for an item that they have on their website and the website gave a location but the item was not in that location. Since the first time I had this issue Ive gone back a couple times and I usually look the item up on the website even if Ive already found it just to see if its in the right location and it isnt usually. This place is a warehouse, how the heck do they know what their inventory is if the stuff isnt in the correct location? This is an easily fixable problem, the people are still very nice, the location is great, and its clean, so Im still giving it three stars but Im baffled by how hard it is to find items.
Im sure its sufficient, just Ive been to better stores. But oddly organized.
I called and the automated answering service is beyond frustrating. After finally being able to get someone to answer the phone, I needed transferring to the garden center. No one answered then the phone just hung up. I called back and the ridiculous answering system sent me to truck rental when I said product availability. The young man that answered could not understand that I needed the garden center. I asked him for the garden center and asked him if they were busy, understaffed or both, and he said he didnt understand. Home Depot used to have excellent customer service. It is somewhere i avoid now and will not be there anytime soon, nor recommend it to anyone

Home Depot always have the right product that I needed for my home. The best thing about this store is they have ♿ entrance and a huge wide parking for ♿. Loved shopping here every single time I went. And the staff are always nice and helpful.

I have been renting machines from Home Depot locations all over the DFW. I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with an employee that did not know their policies. I handed him my ID that was issued in Dallas Texas but is a Mexican passport. He looks at it, rolls his eyes then point at the sign and says “we don’t take this here read the sign” the sign says “we only take valid I.D’s” never did it say it had to be a U.S ID. I kept telling him that no other Home Depot location has given me this hard of a time to rent a machine and they have all taken my I.D. He proceeded by saying “well sorry I’m not taking it here”. I left and have never been back to another Home Depot store. I felt discriminated against and talked down on. Train your EMPLOYEES ON CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEIR POLICIES.

The first home improvement store to resemble a warehouse. This is a good business for pros and homeowners to find tools and items to repair/update your castle.to get your home in top condition.
Went at lunchtime. There were a lot of pros there. This store always seems to be stocked up.
The employee that helped me was well informed about the product I was looking for. He helped me find a few items, which greatly cut down on the time I needed to spend in the store.

Too often it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find an employee to help you. For example, today I had to flag down 3 employees, the first two of which paged for someone else to help me but nobody came, the third said he couldn’t help me but then reluctantly did help. I needed more of an item from an upper shelf, so it wasn’t advice that I was looking for which would most certainly be more difficult to find.Come on, Home Depot, you can do better. Please.

I bought a Whirlpool washer online. And if the say they will deliver from 8 to 12, expect they will be at your place at 8am. The unit is already unboxed and ready for them to install. It only took them around 20 mins from the time they rang my doorbell to running a test run on my washer.

Bought a product online that was shipped to the store for store pickup. I needed the tool for a next day job. I got it home opened it and it was damaged. It still worked but was damaged to where it would effect the life of the product. Called the next day explained the situation to a “manager”. I believe it was a Chris. He told me they would order one and when it was in stock I could come get it in exchange for the damaged one. He said it would arrive the 19th. Never heard anything. Called on the 24th and no one had any idea what I was taking about. Got transferred and hung up on 3 times before finally getting through to a manager. He said I have to buy a new one and return the old one. I told him I didn’t have the money to pay for another one. He transferred me and I got hung up again.
The lady that made my key was super friendly and very helpful.
As the name suggest Home Depot have all the hardware and packing things for your home.They have a huge collection of all necessary items. The staffs are very helpful and they helped me to find my item without any trouble.
Although they had plenty of shelf space for it, they were entirely out of the inside cleaner I was looking for; the enzyme spray to dissolve dog poo has to be ordered online and sent to the store; they had no bottoms for the terra cotta pots I got; and the only tool chests they carry in the store are either made of plastic or giant. Looks like Home Depot is more interested in being an online store than my go-to store when I need something that day. Next time I need something quick, this wont be the store I go to.
Ive been in this place twice and both times someone asked if he could help me in the lightbulb section. It couldve been the same guy, but he just was so pleasant pushing his cart and helping people. Yes he was an employee 😄. Oh and I like the music they play, bought more bulbs than needed.

It would seem that the cashiers at the lumber check out dont know what they are doing. I stood in one line for nearly 10 minutes before switching lanes, only to stand there for 5 more minutes. I finally just moved my cart to the side and left. Ill just skip this location from now on.

This is a great store. However, someone made a big mistake ordering their sanitizing wipes. At first I was upset there werent any until an associate told me they had the wrong size buckets in the stand.
This is the only place that has respirators. Note the date is March 26th 2020. I just got mine. If youve been looking for a respirator, this is the only place that has it in stock. Ive been to Three location in Arlington, Mansfield and Euless. Those location are suppose to have it but they are just out of stock.
Jonathan in the Garden Center deserves a raise. I had interest in a quirky product and everyone else gave up on assisting me until Jonathan came along. He put in a lot of effort to get me the product I needed. All five of these stars go to Jonathan.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Most of the time what I need is in stock.Not thrilled to see associates stocking on the sales floorwith their masks pulled down onto their chin. I get it (because I work retail) and it sucks to lift, sweat and move with a mask on, but given there is still a pandemic, keep it on while indoors (in public) please.
I bought weed and feed at Home Depot. After fertilizing my yard I noticed small print which said not to use on St Augustine grass. There was no signage in the store about the application of the fertilizer and nobody to provide assistance. This is the most popular grass in the area. Because of Home Depot, my lawn may now die!
Jeff in the Paint department was amazing! He was able to walk me through step by step for my big DIY project. He clearly explained the products and was so easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable!

I used the app to find what I needed and it allowed me to text the locations of each item which made the trip a breeze. The self-checkout was user friendly and I avoided the line. Social distancing and sanitizing were very obviously being upheld. Overall, a great experience

Worst phone sale experience ever!!! Over a hour on the phone back and forth jumping through hoops for these people just to have my guy leave and go to another Home Depot and get the phone sale done in under 3 minutes with the same information ....absolutely ridiculous. This is my neighborhood location, the curbside pickup has been really great! The only reason I don’t give it a five star is, because when they answer the phone, they are consistently rude and perturbed to be answering the phone. Part of the curbside process is to call inside. Customers as myself are following the instructions. Perhaps selecting a friendly associate to answer the phones would be best. Once you get passed the phone call, the rest of the process is great. The associates who bring out your items have always been kind and professional.
Home depot continues to have the items Im looking for over all the other guys.

The tool rental department was throughout and helped me through the penske truck process quickly. There was minor door dents on the truck prior to leaving the store. Took a quick walk through lumber and building materials looked great very clean while I was waiting for the truck to be brought around.
