Sunday PM the Christmas tree lit up on the dash. Toyota diagnosed the battery was failing on my 2007 Camry Hybrid at 11:00 AM on a Monday, I called numerous places including Greentec. Green tech go me in at 3:30 and were complete with the battery install by 5:00. John and Seth did a great job, were professional and very informative. Yes, I paid $2200 plus $150 for the install of a NEW battery pack, but it was $5500 at Toyota. the 13 year old Camry was averaging about 26-28 MPG in the last year. The trip home Monday night it got 40 MPG and the battery pack stayed full.4 year warranty was pretty cut and dry. New Wheels, Dash, Brakes, headlights and now batteries including the 12V. Now the car is good for another 160,000 miles.I live in McKinney, Texas and the shop is at 660 International in Richardson, TX

Got the red triangle of death on the Prius, got an appointment the same day, tested and confirmed I needed a battery and in little more than an hour Im on my way home, no triangle. Nice. Went with the brand new battery as opposed to rebuilt, still less $ than Toyota, let you know how it goes. Place is a little hard to find back in an office complex, but look for the bright green sign. Pic added.

We have been customer service at GreenTec, Richardson for three years after owning 2 older used Prius vehicles-replacing batteries on both. They have good customer service from (sales + John onsite and prices that are unbeatable and will save you a fortune compared to dealership prices. They have gone above and beyond when we have had concerns and have looked at our vehicles when there is a concern. We are very pleased.

If you own a hybrid car I would encourage you to take it here first. They will do a free diagnostic if you bring the car to the shop. The dealer wanted $150. After speaking with John on the phone he agreed the problem was most likely one or both batteries. He gave me an estimate over the phone for parts and labor. Within minutes getting off the phone I received written estimate by email. All I could get out dealership was that I needed make an appointment for the $150 diagnostic. This would apply towards any repairs they made but I was never able get information on battery costs and labor. They tested both batteries at Greentec and other components at my request for free. The amount they charged to replace the battery was exactly what I was quoted. They are very serious about providing good customer service while keeping hybrid batteries out of landfills.

These guys stood behind the previous owners warrenty. They transferred the warranty to me, fixed my car in less than 1/2 day, charged me zero, offered to stay late if it would help me. The mechanic gave me information on how to do a non related repair that I wanted to do myself. I have worked in the automotive industry most of my life. Customer service at this level is extremely rare to find. I wont hesitate to use and recommend this place in the future.

I live in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I have a Lexus GS450h which I purchased while I was in the US. The car has 60000 mile. The hybrid battery failed in January this year. The local Lexus dealer refused to fix it at any price . I contacted Lexus USA and Japan with no results. I contacted Greentech Auto and they quote me the new battery as advertised . The shipping to Dubai was about $4000. Overall the cost more than $8 k for the battery. It was a gamble to have the local shop work on the battery and since they have little knowledge of hybrid not to do it right. After many emails and phone calls; Greentech offered to send a technician with the replacement new battery in less than $ 8 k and the technician will stay in Dubai for few days to make sure it is fixed and alright . I took the offer 😀. The battery along with the technician Paul arrived to the shop where my car was. They tested the old battery and ran a full check and even identified another minor problem . They took the old hybrid battery and replaced with new battery cells. The car was in its perfect condition in couple hours.Now I have been driving it for more than a month with no issues at all.I can not thank Greentech auto John and Paul for their outstanding help and professionalism. I would recommend them highly for anyone who even live outside the US . Way to go Greentech

These guys are the real deal. They actually did the diagnostic that they advertised. John did a diagnostic and told me exactly what I needed to do. Than have me an estimate and time frame on the spot. Definitely a benefit to the community having these guys around.

Sometimes going to repair shops for your car it be body electrical or an engine transmission repair can be less than glamorous and super expensive and the customer service can be lacking however with green tec auto I had no issues whatsoever I was treated with respect and the customer service and the quality of the product was spectacular.

My Dads 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid starting getting all sorts of warning lights on the dash, and it was driving sluggish at the end of December 2018. We took it to the dealership and found out the hybrid battery needed to be replaced. They quoted us around $4,600, and they would still need to order it. Being close to the holidays and business closing, he would be without a car for a while. And he wouldnt be able to afford that price living on a fixed income. So we started researching other options. Our Google search came up with Greentec Auto. We liked that they were in DFW area and are certified with the BBB. From the time we called to get information to the install, they were awesome. They happened to have the battery in stock for this car, and they were able to do it on Christmas Eve in less than 45 minutes! It was great that Seth and his coworker checked to make sure it needed it replaced in the first place, checked for any other issues, and explained everything to us. Its now the beginning of May 2019, and the car is running great. It was almost half what the dealership quoted, and we were able to get a 3 year warranty (the dealership was only able to offer 1 year). We highly recommend Greentec to keep your hybrid running smoothly!

Worked with John at Greentec to get a new 2001 Insight battery. John was super knowledgeable and offered good advice about my particular situation. He also arranged for very convenient delivery since they were going to be in the area. The whole transaction was super smooth and the battery works great. I am very pleased and my Insight is running better then ever.

Provided fantastic service. The technician that performed the swap-out of the hybrid batteries was extremely knowledgeable. After the battery was installed and car running, liked that the technician also provided recommended vehicle punch list of components/systems recommended to inspect / replace given the miles on vehicle combined with it being parked in my shop for nearly three years. I was quoted $4,600 to replace the hybrid battery on my Toyota Camry at the dealership. Since my car is a 2007 model, I had to think long and hard about putting that much into a repair on a 13 year old car.While I was researching cars, I came across a post that mentioned Greentec Auto. I chatted with a representative online. I got a quote of less than half the price of the dealership for a new hybrid battery with a longer warranty.I made an appointment and got in immediately.I told them that My 13 year old car had never had anything repaired or replaced and I was afraid everything was going to fall apart at once. No problem. They did diagnostics testing before they replaced the battery to see if other parts were on the verge of failure. That way I knew if it would be worthwhile to replace the battery. Who does that for you? Greentec does. Then they test it again after the battery is replaced.Misael and Seth worked on my car. These guys are so knowledgeable and explained everything about what they did. I was in and out with my new battery in 45 minutes. My gas mileage went way up, to the mileage I got when the car was new. They will also come to wherever your car is, if you can’t get it to the shop. Cannot speak highly enough about the expertise and attentiveness provided by John, who I repeatedly interacted with by phone. Our 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid would not start. 12V battery held only 5+ volts, but could be jumped back to 14+. Lights and instruments functioned, but car still would not start. Ford dealer recommended a $150 diagnostic test (plus towing!). If a high voltage battery replacement needed, would be $6,800 without labor. After a bit of back-and-forth, John suggested as a first step to simply take the 12V battery out of the loop and jump the hybrid electrical system directly with our truck (taking care not to fry the system through misconnections). Lights, instruments and car fired right up, could be put in gear and moved. Needless to say my wife and I were ecstatic. Without a doubt we will be purchasing a high voltage battery from Greentec when the time comes, and at less than half the price quoted by the Ford dealership.

These guys are super nice and very knowledgeable! Very happy with their service. Paid less than half of dealer price for brand new battery plus 36 month replacement warranty. If your hybrid needs service then its worth it to give these guys a call before having someone else work on it.

I needed a hybrid battery for my sons 2005 Honda Civic & I found GreenTec Auto by doing a Google search. My first email inquiry was answered with a phone call within minutes. The cost that was quoted was dramatically less expensive than the dealership price for a new hybrid battery. I worked with Dan at the Dallas shop who was extremely helpful. Junior actually came to my office to pick up the Civic once the battery came in. He brought it back to my office within an hour. Everyone that I had any interaction with at GreenTec was very professional, responsive & helpful. Their service was fast & efficient. And I really appreciate that they recycle hybrid batteries. Great people!! I have not experienced a car shop that offer this amount of great service. Dan, my service provider, was very nice and up front. He was able to answer all my questions. If you ever have trouble with your car, consider these guys first before heading to the dealership. I had my hybrid battery replaced and they charged half the price the deal would charged me.

Greentec was great! The two technicians Seth & Nawaz were awesome. They totally knew their stuff and explained everything. The install took less than 45 minutes and they did a courtesy check of fluid levels, etc.. After that, one of the techs went on a test drive with me to make sure I was pleased with everything. Replacing a hybrid battery isnt an inexpensive repair, but Im glad I went with Greentec and glad to have my car up and running.

My experience was excellent. Robert and Jr. were excellent. Kept me up to date so I was not waiting around. They called me 30 minutes from arrival time. Arrived on time and finished on schedule. When arrived at my door they introduced themselves and explained everything that was going to happen in detail. When job was completed they answered all my questions gave me some instructions on what to do and left me a number to contact them if I had any questions at all. They were very professional. Its a great place to go to get batteries for all your EV and hybrid needs. We searched for hours looking all over the web for some hard to find EV Traction Batteries, however we always came up empty. Then we found this place, the people there were very kind and helpful and were able to supply us the that batteries that saved our EV project!

Cheaper than the dealer,for a better product than the dealer,with a better warranty than the dealer,and they did it sooner than the dealer could, IN MY driveway, AND I GOT TO WATCH! It was SO cool!Let there be no hesitation in selecting Greetec Auto for servicing your hybrid. They showed themselves to be a knowledgeable authority, and it is my opinion, that without the dealer (or one brand) restriction over their customer base, they are in a better position to put their customers first than any dealer can be. I appreciated their service to me and would definitely recommend, and call upon them again.

My daughter is six hours away in college in Lubbock, Tx and the hybrid battery when out in her 09 Camry. The local dealership wanted $4,800 to replace it. I called Greentec on Wednesday, and by Friday afternoon my daughter had a new battery installed right there in her apartment parking lot for roughly half the price. As a father, thats an easy 5 stars from me.

Simply put; Greentech stands behind their product! My battery failed after two years. They replaced it immediately in my own driveway and they didnt even charge for the installation of the replacement. That was over two years ago and so far, its good!

I purchased a re-manufactured battery from Greentec in October of 2015 for my 2003 Prius. Technicians drove all the way from Dallas to San Antonio and installed the new battery quickly on-site. Even later on when we needed to use the included warranty, they came down and replaced it with a different one, free of charge. Highly recommended.

Have purchased two batteries from these guys. Both installed on site. Purchased the warranty both times. Had to use it on one battery they came out and replaced with no hassle at all. Both batteries still running good! I called them to replace a battery on a third vehicle. They ran a diagnostic and found out that it was not the battery but a MUCH cheaper issue and fixed me up. Would definitely recommend these guys to my friends and family with hybrid vehicles.

My used hybrid was recently bought without having any knowledge of its history (big mistake). Anyways, I had a startup issue on the day I was supposed to drive to their facility for my hybrid battery replacement. I called to reschedule many times during that day because I explained the situation I was experiencing. Without even asking, they provided me helpful tips on what could be the issue with my car. I followed their advice but was still unsuccessful and concluded my hybrid battery just died. I ultimately requested them to come over and do a mobile installation. Their technician Misael came by and first investigated why my car didnt startup. This was something I didnt expect but was really glad he did that! He soon performed a miracle by finding out why my car didnt start and taught me how to prevent it from happening again which is something Im so grateful to know about! He worked with ease, gave me informative answers to my questions while working on my car. He was also very prepared with his equipment! Their whole team including Misael left me with so much knowledge I didnt know about and exceptional service that words cant express my gratitude for them. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a hybrid battery replaced!

Well... I had a bad battery on my 6 year old Prius with ~125k miles and they replaced it, then a few months later the new battery went bad, they replaced it, now, 1 year later, its dead again...I had the rest of the car checked out and Toyota says its in good shape but the battery is shot. (they did the installation both times)Nice people but I cant say I would recommend them to anyone I like.

Awesome place! They sure did get me out of bind with my hybrid system. Blew a 150 amp fuse! How in the world did that happen? Idk but GTB fixed me right up and for a reasonable price considering what dealerships charge.

Update - 09/06/2019Went to Greentec Auto today to see if they could possibly diagnose why my cars battery was not performing correctly. As it turns out, my battery was completely fine. When the tech looked under my hood he noticed my Mass Air Intake Hose was cracked real bad. I cleaned the MAF Sensor and got a new MAF hose and now my car works great. Again, thanks.I could not be happier with their service. They are fast and easy to work with. I also saved $3000.00 by not having the Nissan dealer change my battery. The tech came right to my home and changed the battery in 1 hour while I watched. The Tech, upon my request, also instructed and advised me on how to safely change the battery myself.

The company has a branch office in Seattle, close to where I live. They provided great information over the phone to make both the selection of the battery easy and helped with information about installation.The true test of a company is not necessarily how they conduct themselves with things go well, but how they manage problems or unforeseen issues. In this case I had been mistakenly given the wrong battery, only to discover it after I went to install it, having driven about 80 miles to where the car was located. Mistakes happen, I think we all understand that. But John and the staff at greentec stepped right up and corrected the problem immediately without excuses or drama. I turned the problem over to them, and they took care of it without any further effort on my part. Well done.

2007 Camry, 240,000+ miles. Toyota wanted twice as much, Greentecs warranty was longer than the dealers. Replacement was painless, I highly recommend.

Robert and Chris Skinner did a great job getting my wifes 2010 Prius back on the road! They answered all my questions and completed the traction battery installation in less than an hour.

Dealer cost for new replacement hybrid battery for my older Prius was about the same as the value of the car. Bought rebuilt battery from Green Tec instead for well less than half the cost. Made appointment at Green Tec and drove car in to Rockwall location. Robert was waiting and installed new battery quickly with no problems. Excellent service and value.

Today I had a great experience with my Green Tec Auto technician, Chris. He installed a new hybrid battery in my 2004 Prius and he went out of his way to trouble shoot my Prius, finding that I also needed a replacement 12v battery. We went to the Toyota dealership together and obtained one, which he installed. He stayed with me until my Prius was running great. Chris was friendly and and dedicated to pleasing me. I am very happy with his work, attitude and dedication. I will definitely use Green Tec Auto again if I ever need another replacement battery.
