Apex has always been a good resource for unique plumbing components. A metal clad chrome shower hose I purchased there 5 or so years ago was now half as long and almost $60. Five years ago HD didnt carry these hoses. Now they do in the 59 range for $23. For those unique components Apex is still one of my gotos.

She knows her plumbing inside and out and is very responsive with getting back to you with quotes, updated information on product availability, pricing and any delays that may occur in shipping. I would highly recommend her for all of your plumbing needs. I cant say enough good things about her. Plus, she is always pleasant and friendly even when we are facing product delays outside the control of Apex due to the Pandemic or factory slowdowns.

Ordered new bathtub and shower and bathtub hardware as well as shower valve. Several different boxes were missing parts...They were no help when I called them to fix the problem. Will never go back

The store it appears caters to the trade as opposed to the general public.The store layout is not welcoming. There is a sign-up board and one can see a few individuals immersed in their work at their desks on computer terminals. Unlike a traditional store, no one greets you and makes you feel welcome. So my wife approached one of the ladies behind the desk. Once we took that initiative, Mary was very helpful. Nevertheless it was an odd experience to walk to someone and intrude upon them. I suspect the employees there probably feel the same watching customers walk in and appear lostThe store is well stocked. Mary did a very good job showing us the options from various manufacturers. Their prices were competitive - about 5 -10 percent higher than on Amazon. But that is understandable given that they have to cover labor costs.So a 5 Star for Mary and 1 star for the store layout averaging to a 3 Star

I am a contractor and decided to renovate my old bathroom. first I went to my local plumbing supply in plano called Locks. I got very few things from them and i was absolutely dissatisfied with their service, one of the guy was very uncooperative and harsh. Then I decided to use Apex Plumbing in Richardson, I have used their service for many years. Mr Juan helped me to achieve my goals, he was very professional, knowledgeable and patient, no matter what, he got it right. Then I relayed juans excellent performance to his boss Mr Craig and found out he was just as nice and appreciative. Later on I didnt know how to adjust temperature on my mixing valve I called Juan he he text me pictures and literature how to solve my problem. I would definitely recommend this firm to all my family and friends.Thank you.

Solved a plumbing issue with me.

They are helpful though you have to know what you are ordering. You stand a good chance if getting extra stuff. Not that the salesperson did anything wrong, but i wasnt as fluent in this product. Good quality items but you will pay for it.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE!!! I asked one guy with blond hair, a beard, and a pot belly for a certain item. Just then the computer crashed so he told me that he was going to look up the price in a book somewhere. But instead of doing that he broke out his lunch and began eating at his work post, and never bothered to let me know that he couldnt sell me that item. I had to figure out on my own that this bum with no work ethic or sense of responsibility just gave up on a waiting customer without saying anything. SIMPLY INEXCUSABLE!!!!! Ive never had any employee anywhere do that to me for any reason. Then another one made some smart ass statement as I was leaving. If I was their manager and I saw that Id boot them right out the door and find some day laborers on a street corner because theyd do a better job. Ive seen Girl Scouts selling cookies with more pride in their work than those bums have. Being in the plumbing business is no excuse for acting mentally retarded.

Zero Stars if I could. I flip houses and needed several hundred feet of a specific type of tubing that Ive used many times over the years. I was transferred to sales to see if they stocked what I was after and the person on the phone was very short and condescending with me. I was considering using Apex as my supplier going forward if they regularly stocked what I needed vs spending thousands every week at Home Depot or Lowes, but after this call, I dont think so.

Slowest supply house in town. Regardless of if its busy or not. Waited 45 minutes for a flapper! Good to know time is of no concern. Save your time go to Locke!

I went into Apex to look for a faucet I had found on Kohlers website. When I couldnt find it on the showroom floor, and none of the sales associates seemed interested in helping me, thats when I should have walked out. Instead I went to the reception desk and the man sitting there finally got a sales associates attention for me. I went over to her desk and told her what I was looking for. She just looked at me and said You know thats a high end faucet, right? When I politely responded, Yes, Im aware, she then asked me if I knew how much it cost because apparently she thinks I dont understand the term high end. Really???? If I wanted a cheap faucet I would have just gone to Home Depot and picked out one they had in stock. At least there, the employees are actually helpful and polite. I didnt put up a fuss because they were able to get it in the next day. Im not sure if this lady thought I didnt look like someone who could afford an expensive faucet or if they are just that incredibly condescending and rude to all their customers. Regardless, Apex will not be receiving my business in the future.

Service is terrible and displays are few. OK so I gave this place two tries and now Im reading it. This place is terrible the sales people are not very knowledgeable about what they have in the show room and what they dont have. And to color the show room its kind of a stretch. They have several showers on display but if youre looking at mid to high end youd like to see more on the floor than what is in there. They want you to sit down at a desk and looking to book. If I wanted to sit down at a desk Id sit at home and look at everything online. Basically if youre married to Kohler and thats all you want and you feel like overpaying for it you should probably go here otherwise you might as well look online and find your own stuff and get it cheaper. The sales woman who helped me, and helped is a stretch, had no idea what I meant when I asked her about shower systems. And seemed very put off that I was asking her for more options to see on the floor.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff got me in and out with minimal fuss. Great job.

My sales person was great but the product I picked Hansgrohe has been horrible. I have had to replace several pieces and it takes months for Hansgrohe to send the replacement. I have had the plumber out 4 times to fix and replace pieces. I did my entire bathroom. My suggestion to Apex is to stop carrying the Hansgrohe product. I spent a lot of money and now have lost a lot of money.

They didnt have what I needed but the gentleman not only told me where to get it but looked up the part number and gave me that as well. Very happy with the service I got and will be back again.

Ordered an expensive Kohler sink and it arrived cracked. We had to delay our countertop installation by a week to wait for a new sink to arrive. Apex delivered the 2nd sink to our house and when we unboxed, it was also cracked! So we had to delay our installation again. I was most surprised that they didnt even look at the sink before delivering it to us. I understand that Kohler may be to blame, but Apex didnt seem concerned at all with our situation or willing to do much to ensure a good experience for us. So, we cancelled our order and are buying on Amazon.

Management doesnt give a dang about customers, neighbors or their community. Shop anywhere else.
