I can not say enough good things about this place. I called him on 12-9-2020 to see if he had a 9/16 5C collet. He gave great customer service, he went & looked to see if he had it. He also held it for me to get there. These days, things like that are hard to come by. This wasn’t the first great experience with him either. Every time I have been in, he has been great. I highly recommend CDC Surplus.

This place has many many hard to find aircraft and specialty tools with excellent prices. The machine tools are well organized and good quality. No credit cards are accepted and hours open are Tuesday through Saturday only.

You never going to find a place in Dallas like this as far as Im concerned you probably never find a place anywhere in the US or for that matter in the world like this hes got just about every kind of tool that you would need to get the job done if it comes to Specialty stuff. End mills stuff, drill press stuff, metalwork, aircraft tools, you name it. Talk to Doug guys been there for quite a few years. Extremely knowledgeable and knows what he has. Make sure you got a few minutes when you go there because youre going to want to look around. Make sure you told him when you get there that Redbone sent you.

Known these guys for over 25 years and am still as exited about them as the day I met them.Tooling, bits, mills and raw material and small exotic scrap. They are the hobbyist / small shop solution to buying quality tooling and materials like the big boys.When you walk through the door everyone is treated like old friends.

When Im working on an off the wall, out of the box project, this place has every part I dont know exists until I need it. Very helpful and great at helping me figure out what I need. Cash only is also a plus. I could go insane with my cards at this place.

Great spot for the home machinist, hobbyists, and maker a true jewel of the DFW area.One one side there is a very good selection of drill, end mills, reamers, lathe and other bits. Carbide, Cobalt and HSS. A very good selection of abrasives and files crimp connectors as well. Although the selection varies they often have some good hand tools, and machine screws.The other side of the store will vary with unique surplus items. Motors, actuators, gears, bearings, and scrap pieces of plastics, hard and soft metals are usual suspects.The end mill selection and scrap aluminum/plastic blocks are great for the home machinist.Note they are Cash/Check only and closed Sunday-Monday

Can spend more time than my wife does shopping for stuff in girly stores. This place has things that are useful and difficult to find for a guy - love it!
