Awesome store for all things woodwork!! Waiting for food from next door, I walked into this treasure, my new toy store. Great staff that know their stuff. Great resource for beginners and professionals!!! Go if youre working on projects or just curious!!
This is a beautiful store with lots of great products. But probably the coolest part of my visit was when I walked in a young man greeted me and asked if I need any help finding something. I told him I just wanted to look around and his reply shocked me, have fun, let me know if you have any questions. Wow! I did have fun looking at all the great tools and products. They have some serious finishing products as well as tools. Great place. You should visit.
Permanently closing location in July 21. They are a genuinely helpful bunch of knowledgeable, friendly guys.
I love the guys at the Richardson and Frisco locations. Always helpful and very friendly.
They were friendly and helpful. They were out of some things we came for but we generally well stocked.
Very nice store, well stocked with lots of cool tools, hardware, and friendly employees. Better experience than Woodcraft
Awesome and very professional as well as knowledgeable, my favorite place to shop.
I bought a freud router bit set that came out to be a used set. There is wood particle on some of the bits that also have a scratch on shank. The cashier didnt tell me about it.Itssl still on very good condition but that shouldnt allow a professional not disclosing it.
I have been shopping here for at least two years and the staff is exceptional. Always friendly, always informative; even if you dont make a purchase.A rarity for a retail store these days
Was searching to no avail. for a plastic T trim that is used on 1980-90s dining table sets. (Usually capped off w/silver or gold tape), didnt seem to find anyone who could find any, or any source.Had been referred to Elliots hardware, who, in turn, referred me to ROCKLER @800 N.Coit Rd.,Richardson, TX in the promenade ctr. just south of Arapaho rd. on the east side of coit. Spoke w/Asst. Mgr. Daniel, who, within 3 to 4 minutes, had my order set to Rocklers online order system. My selections should arrive within 5 to 7 days, delivered right to my door!!! Three cheers for Daniel and Rockler!! Now my 80-90s dining table can be completed!! Yall are now my first source for rehabbing tossed out stuff I inherit or need specialty parts/tools for!!Thanks, Yall!! [Wish I knew of you about 4 years ago...]
The tools quality are so good, it is so durable and the price are affordable too
Availability of parts needed, and great service.
Fantastic help and selection. I love shopping local
Friendly and helpful salespeople. Excellent selection of hand and power woodworking tools. Very good selection of lathes, lathe tools and accessories. Excellent selection of unique project hardware for hinges to knobs to slides to TV lifts. Generous price-matching policy on power tools.
Very helpful, very friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Very friendly, very helpful and great selection. I will be coming to THIS location from now on. Thanks Dan! The drive was definitely worth my while.
Very knowledgeable and helpful to get right items to help correctThanks 😊
I had a great experience in this store today. This was my first time of entering a wood working store and I had many questions about staining maple cabinets. The store associate, (I think his name was Jay-please forgive me if I got that wrong) took me over to their little stain demonstration area and did a sample for me. He spent a tremendous amount of time with me answering my questions. I cannot remember a time when I have been taken care of so well as a customer. I highly recommend this location!
They have really great service and even better prices. Items go on sale all the time.
I have been buying from Rockler by catalogue and then on-line for something like twenty years - since before they changed the name to Rockler. The catalogues (paper and digital) are well organized and understandable with an index and search capability. If you are not near a physical store, their mail-order staff are also knowledgeable and helpful. Great experiences.
I went in for table slides as my tables broke. As a new homeowner Im a bit inexperienced with a lot of things so I went in and asked for some advice. I needed an 18 inch leaf opening, and they wood sliders for the smallest working size for my needs was going to be a month out. Seeing as this was my only table, I needed them a bit faster so went for meta which would only be a week as they didnt hold them in store. This came out to around 80$ and that was what I saw on the receipt. I get the package and its wooden sliders for the 38 inch opening. Was 80$ as well, but way more than I needed. I called in to ask, and I was told I could bring them back in for a 20% restocking fee. Very polite customer service, and considering I didnt catch it, I can;t entirely blame them. But Im pretty dissatisfied with having to pay more for something that was not my mistake as I explicitly asked for metal and the smaller opening, and I might as well have ordered online at this point.
I walked in needing a router bit. Great place. Knowledgeable staff who will help you find what you need or just wander and shop solo. Fair prices and are polite and not condescending to new wood workers.
I have always had a good shopping experience here. I especially like Joe, and Hippie Dan is OK too.
Associates are knowledgeable on their products and can easily walk you to it in the store... theyre also very personable. Never give the impression that I am interrupting their day...
Awesome store. Much more comfortable than WC. Im allowed to look around the whole store without being hounded by the employees, but when asked for help they are super thoughtful and helpful. Love the innovative Rockler products, too.
They knew what I wanted and were helpful in finding it.
Horrible customer service. Don’t buy here if you can find any place else.
Very friendly staff, wide selection of woodworking stuff. My only complaint is that theres too many thinks I want, but cant afford, haha. When I got the lotto, Im cleaning this place out.
Went here to get some velvet for a necklace rack Im making for my wife it was my first time going into the store and it was a very positive experience. The employees were very friendly and helpful and the prices werent bad either. I would highly recommend this store to anybody looking for some of the harder to find woodworking products.
Staff is polite and knowledgeable, from what I can tell the store is very well stocked and they offer a variety of workshop classes. I had an excellent experience.
The guys in there are very helpful. I asked a million questions and they helped me and gave me tips. You can also find anything you need for woodworking in there.
One of 2 local professional stores dedicated to Woodworkers. Great selection and friendly and helpful sales staff.
The staff is so knowledgable. The classes are informative and diverse. They have helped me learn so much.
Very clean, well organized store with very nice and helpful staff.
Hard to find wood working equipment and supplies, plus great customer service.
Great place to shop, organized helpful and knowledgable, just a great toy store for men
One of the better wood shops in dfw. Very friendly staff.
So nice, much nicer people and atmosphere that their competition WC. And so much closer to the house. My new go to store!
Very knowledgable and always willing to help and give pointers to rookie wood workers
