Our needs were met from personal help selecting our floors to scheduling, install and after install attention to check if everything was to our expectations. We had a great experience with RVA Flooring. We had wanted to lay down porcelain tile on our screened in patio but I didn’t think we’d be able to do that because of the plywood subfloor. I wanted to use a local flooring installer to put in some hardwood floors where we previously had carpet. From the initial call to set up the consultation to the post-install follow-up call, everything was done quickly and professionally. They worked with my timeline and recommended a nice hardwood that met not only my needs but my request for a quick turnaround. The install was done in one day, from 9 am to about 6 pm (I did have only one small space done - maybe a 14x12 space). They took all of the old carpet and such so we did not have to deal with its disposal. The cost was very fair for the service, in my opinion. Overall a great experience! I would highly recommend!

Let me tell you what good customer service is. Opening your showroom, when its closed on a Sunday, to a stranger youve never worked with, just so he can see some samples of carpet. That is the kind of service you get at flooring RVA. After striking out with 3 other flooring companies who couldnt meet my deadline, flooring RVA got me on an install schedule within a week. I recently had water damage on my hardwood floors with the hurricane. This happened two days before I was scheduled to put my condo on the market. The initial flooring company to come showed no real interest in the job. I called FlooringRVA and Robert Fletcher, the owner was immediately on the case. His sales person, Matthew got samples to me while I was traveling to Washington state. We agreed on the Brazilian Cherry that would match the rest of the condo. They ordered the wood and the installation went beautifully. Jonathon, was on top of the job and helped resolve any questions or concerns that came up. It all looks gorgeous and the condo is now on sale.

I contracted Flooring RVA for a large commercial project. Robert and his crew are extremely professional, courteous and do high quality work. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. I plan on using them for all my projects - both residential and commercial- going forward and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The company was unprofessional, uncommunicative, and took three months to complete a job that they said they would do in four days.The two times we heard from the owner were when we signed the initial contract and when we asked to meet with him to pay our final billThey did the demo work and then called us two days later to explain that they didn’t have the flooring materials. They blamed it on trucking delays due to COVID, but they should have known they didn’t have the materials, and they shouldn’t have performed the demo work if they weren’t prepared to finish the job. And they should have told us more than twelve hours before they were due to begin installation.They couldn’t complete the shoe molding, because they couldn’t get the stain to match our flooring, which they had promised to do. We ended up painting the molding white by ourselves.When we met to pay the final bill, we explained our impressions to the owner. He never accepted his responsibility for his failure to communicate.

That included all new flooring down stairs, all new carpet upstairs, and even demo and removal of about 300sf of old tile and particle board. Second, and more importantly, their crew and staff were great. Everyone was very professional, very courteous and respectful of our home, and the work is prefect.The only feedback for improvement would be to have someone contact the client a day or two before the project starts, just to let them know what time to expect the crews. The first day of the project we were left guessing as to what time people would be showing up at our house.Check em out!

He came out the same day in fact right away as we were in a time crunch and put something together that was perfect. Kevin the installer was unbelievable! He and his assistant TT worked their tails off in the demo work and the install of the new material. Kevin found a couple of subfloor issues that he could have not mentioned but he brought it to me attention and made a recommendation on how to deal with it. We took his advice and proceeded along and although it took a little more of his time he kept the project right on schedule.If you dont consider using Robert and Flooring RVA you are making a huge mistake. I am writing only because my choice to go with Flooring RVA was based on the positive reviews google and yelp. I wanted to make sure folks looking at their options knew the good and the bad. First, everyone at Flooring RVA was great to deal with and very responsive. We were also very pleased with the results. Our floors look very nice, and we were very happy with their work. We did have some unexpected delays in the installation of our floors that were frustrating. The first delay was our fault because we decided after installation began that the flooring choice was not the right one, so we had to get new flooring delivered. That may have been somewhat attributable to an old sample in the showroom that we based our decision on, but we took responsibility for that decision. The second delay happened because Flooring RVA purchased the wrong amount of flooring, so we had to wait several additional days for more to be delivered and then get installed (when there were some additional delays). There were several occasions when we were given an expected completion date that was missed and pushed back even further. Again, we were happy with their work and enjoyed working with them but wanted to make sure folks had the whole picture.

We picked out our floor after looking at several different samples. The sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful.The installation was scheduled quickly and done on time.

Excellent! We hired Flooring RVA to replace all of the carpet in our house. We talked to four companies before making a decision. Flooring RVA was prompt with giving us a professional estimate, and easy to work with from the start. We were given an excellent, affordable option for carpet that looks great in our home. The other companies took several days to give us estimates, even though they said they would have them ready that day. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. Start to finish, it took them only 5.5 hours to install carpet in four bedrooms, a living room, five closets, hallway and stairs. That included disassembling beds and moving furniture, then moving furniture back and reassembling beds. They made it look easy, and we love the way our house looks. Thank you, Flooring RVA!
