Meijers is a good place to shop. Friendly service and kind employees to assist you with items in the store. Customer Service is accommodating and so is the checkout system process when you dont have to go through a long line if youre buying with cash. My experience was a good one. Thank you Meijers keep up the good work.
This store is in dire need of a remodel and retraining on inventory management. The flow of the store makes no sense with the frozen items and dairy on the opposite side of the store. It needs more self scan registers or the new shop and scan kiosks. You cant reduce the amount of cashiers that drastically without installing new kiosks.I understand COVId has slowed down distribution of some goods, but other meijers locations are handling it fine. The aisles are not labeled on one side of the marquees, and the shelves are always bare.
Good selection. Reassuring to go to any Meijer built in last 12 years and find same layout in every store. Older ones are also laid out the same as their counterparts. The Rochester store was clean, cashier friendly and helpful.
Nice store but they need more self checkout. I had 6 items but all checkout lines were at least 5 people deep. The 12 item limits are not enforced even though there are no limit self checkout lines right next to them. Was hoping to pickup a few things on my way home. Left my stuff and walked out.
Good location & variety of selection. 1 minute walk from Woodspring Suites ! That was great ☆☆☆☆
I used the pick up service. Excellent. I designated no substitute. Only 1 item not available. Super friendly worker brought to the car.
Neat and clean store. Conveniently located near M-59 highway. Great selection of products and fresh produce.
Clean store, shelves full and nest. Was greeted when I came in made the shopping trip really enjoyable
Love Meijer. Been going to this location since it opened. We do about 90% of our shopping there, and no complaints
Very clean store! Organized and it almost looks newly renovated. I have never shopped here before today. I didnt like the set up. I walked around and had to ask 3 people where the milk was located. I was finally directed to the center of the store. It was a strange place to find it. But over all I think it is a nice store.
Im glad to see Meijer having berries by other producers and not just Driscolls. Meijer needs more fresh organic produce like organic summer squash. Saves a trip to WF. Meijer has excellent customer service and the employees really try to please the customer.
Courteous cashiers. Large variety of whatever you want. Plenty of aisle space. Plenty of parking spaces. Produce ranges from fair to excellent.
My preferred place to get weekly groceries. Never wait too long and they usually have what I need. Much better than getting a Walmart headache down the road
Although the mask mandate has been lifted, Im amazed at how many people still dont use common sense. As I was standing in the check out line the cashier started coughing a nasty, wet sounding cough. But instead of her covering her mouth and asking to be replaced she continued ringing up customers. The 2 people in front of me were looking disgusted and making comments. The cashier just kept coughing and working. I immediately went to another lane. I just dont understand people.
Excellent customer service by the employees! Im not a local, and needed assistance to find things. Multiple employees were incredible!
I personally do not care for the merchandice location design of this store. Some very popular food items are strategically placed in non food areas...forcing the shopper to travel the entire store. For example, the dairy cases are in the middle of the store, far removed from other food items.
Jacob R. Self checkout 5/15.. was super impressed with this employee very friendly and helpful. Energetic, polite, honestly the most people friendly employee iv ever encountered at this Meijer. Whatever he gets paid isnt enough because this employee goes above and beyond!
Service sucked in a rush to get you are right away no hello how are you not to look that have a good day nothing the store was a mess was never claimed at least for two days
I havent had a worse grocery store experience in my life. Today was the last trip Ill make there for groceries. Ive thrown out pork chops and chicken in the past from this location but this morning I went looking for bacon to make breakfast tomorrow and there was bacon 2 days past expiration in the cooler. This location is hands down the worst Ive been to
We live a few minutes away and use this Meijer for most of our quick shopping trips. Because theyre a larger Meijer, the selection is good, especially in the fresh produce sections. My main beef with this location is that its laid out REALLY strangely. The dairy section is in the middle of the store, surrounded on three sides by non-food items. The fourth side is the frozen section, and the non-perishables are against the back wall. Its all counter-intuitive, and whoever designed it could have done a much better job.
This location is probably the quickest check out of any Meijer store I have been in. The other Meijer managers should ask what this store manager is doing and take notes. Because they seem to be doing it right
Needed dry ice for food storage. They advertise they have it. They really dont.
Only place I can get my favorite foods, & rewards on Meijer credit card are great
My fave store. I know the inside of this Meijer location by heart. Its a little smaller than the others in the surrounding area but they are not limited on quantity or variety. I can always breeze through quickly and find everything I need. They are always well stocked and clean. The lines have been a little long but I understand the times we are dealing with. They always have majority of their cashier lines open and the self checkout is always available.
Clean friendly environment. Easy to get in get what I needed and back out quickly
This store is typically clean. Lately the lines have been horrible. I have had to switch up my shopping routine to avoid the wait!
Loved that they had stuff.
Had a great experience at this store! Special shout out to the self-check out clerk, Emmanuella(sp?) We had a few clearance items that wouldn’t scan and she was very patient and helpful!
Updated 4-6-21: Consistently poor experience and not because the staff is rude or incompetent. The staff is friendly and attentive. But the produce is poor, the lines are long and you can never make a quick trip to this place. Never. I know it’s a holiday weekend and all stores are busy, but this Meijer has poor systems for shoppers at any time. This is grocery store is closest to my home, but I avoid it. I wish I could say otherwise.
Lines long, self check outs broken, inconsistently stocked. I live next door. I will never come again. Does management even shop here? Id be embarrassed to be the manager or owner. I just tried shopping there and 2/5 self check outs were broken. When I got to a self checkout, the third went down. I just walked out and left my stuff there.
It was a mess, didnt have enough staff to check you out, long lines.
Great Memorial Day service was able to get a pork but then Im going to smoke everything I needed to complete our meal thanks Myers
Took my 86yo mom for her 1st covid vaccine and we couldnt be more pleased. This location did a fantastic for the entire process. All staff were courteous, professional and helpful. Thanks for your hard work!
Terrible customer service. Only couple registered open. Had to go to cashier to check out. 50 people in line for self check out. Cashier turn my bakery cake upside to put in bag. Then turned it on its side in the bag. I was speechless. Then she proceeded to place fresh vegetables with frozen items. I had to rebag all my items. Never experienced this before. For a store located in Rochester Hills you would expect better customer service, I will never return to this store. Remember bad reviews travel faster than good reviews. In addition, store was poorly stocked, floors were awful, and parking lot had trash all over. So sad, that this Michigan based company is running its self into the ground.
Meijer at 3175 Rochester Rd. deserves a ten star rating for the way they are handling Covid vaccines. They are running it like an elite seal team operation. Extremely professional and efficient. Many of my friends and neighbors all said how impressed they were, as was I, and I am not easily impressed. The only mistake was with notification as they are assuming all seniors have a smart phone and/or folks with a flip phone can all download a link or attachment send to them. Some of my friends had to have their adult children help them. But not everyone has children. Hoping they recognize this one flaw in their process. But the way they carry out giving so many shots at a time went seamless. Extremely civic minded of Meijer to do the vaccines on such a large scale at the Rochester/Auburn Rd. store.
Used mostly for groceries. Limited fresh fish and meat counter is the biggest issue. Plenty of fresh baked items. Limited deli except for abundant meat and cheese selections.
Great selection of food and pricing is decent.
I really like this Meijer. Its hidden so a lot of people dont know its there and its much smaller than other Meijer stores. Its always clean and well stocked ( even considering Covid and shortage on stock at times). The employees are very helpful and friendly.
Very clean environment. Love the freshest produce and breads. Checking out was a breeze.
Clean and usually has everything I am looking for in stock. Not as busy as the other Meijer’s in the area.
Always find me here! Buying Zevia!
Way better then the Walmart.
Close to home always a plus. Greeted, friendly. Sad can never get case of Faygo Cola. Cashier today was a bit insensitive. I am handicapped. Today happened to be a bad day for me, but he couldnt see my cane or how bad my feet were in my slippers and the pain I was in. At no time did he even attempt to help with the amount of bags to put in cart, even after payment was done. Otherwise, good experience. Thank you.
Great supermarket👏🏻
The Meijers that I usually go to is closer to my home. I happened to stop at this location and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to go through the store and pick up what I needed and then I was able to go right up to a register. There was no waiting in a long line to be told what register I can go to. Which is a bit insulting because I can see which register has the shortest line to wait in. The one I usually go to out of convenience is always busy and they have lines sometimes all the way to the back of the store! Its very frustrating especially when you dont want to wait forever with a cart full of frozen foods.
Always stocked and clean.
Its normally quiet at night when I go. About 11pm, an hour before they close.
Live all the make-up and hair and body lotion and potion selection! Ten star service!
Meijers is always on top of their game. And to keep up with Galiath Mart is no easy task. So keep it up
Good shopping experience
Coupons dont work, pickup replaces all items with Meijer. But decent store
Found what I went for waiting in line was quick cashier very polite and quick i was satisfied
No stars planned on shopping but left after i did my returns customer service megan got manager James m cuz with my receipt i lost 9 bucks n some change cuz i had a couple coupons not kool at all had i known that i woulda paid cash seperatly
I was looking for blinds but it is a smaller Meier store. Every thing else was fine!
I am able to get good quality items, but this store is not welcoming at all. looking forward to the Amazon grocery store where I can get items without being watched
Great customer service.
I love shopping at Meijer. They always have fresh fruits and vegetables.
I enjoy shopping at this Meijer. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, some of them even greet (which isnt a big deal if I get greeted while shopping, but it doesnt go unnoticed) It is more than can be said for the Walmart just next door. Ive always referred people to this Meijer. The scan and shop Meijer app is super convenient and our checkout time becomes 1 minute for big shopping trips!
Amazing prices and great staff
The best place to shop
The new meijers on rochester is better
Clean and well stocked. Im constantly impressed with their produce.
I like this Meijer. Layout is somewhat strange with dairy randomly by the electronics. The Deli department today is mind numbingly slow. 1/2 star experience in the Deli. I would strongly not recommend the deli.
Out of a lot of products. Thats at every Meijer. Not just this one.
The store is clean and overall a pretty typical shopping experience EXCEPT it has the worst layout Ive ever come across. Groceries are spread all over the place, there are frozen food sections almost on opposite sides of the store, its a total mess. It took me about 3x as long to find what I was looking for here and I had to walk way further than average. For that reason I will not be coming back.
Large selection great savings on gas, m-perks, & cash back in $10. Coupons
Self checkout is aweful, you get yelled at for not being in the right line but how are we supposed to know!! Put uo stanchions or something!!! GET IT TOGETHER MEIJER!!!
Customers are very rude and staff does nothing about it.
Im starting to see a pattern within the Meijer organization. We are right in the middle of the holiday season and two out of the three Meijer in my area are grossly under staffed. Only 3 staffed lines open. The lines at all 3 stretched all the way to the back of the store. The self check out were just as bad. Just when you think it cant get any worse, you have 2 or 3 of those shop for other people pushing 2 carts up to the self help line only to have 5 separate orders. Grocery stores need to put one (1) line for those people. And not allow them to tie up their entire self help section.
All the cashiers here have always been really nice, a little green but nice :) Ive never had any problems at this Meijers and like it way more than the Rochester store lol
Was very busy in the store today. But I was the second one in line at the deli and the one lady when to left and drank water and then came over to ask me what I wanted. Never asking me if I wanted cheese or anything to go with my meat. The other lady their ask her customer my mine didnt. Never was that way before.
I really try to support Meijer as they’re a Michigan company, but I always leave there without needed items. Today I needed Alfredo sauce, hardly any on the shelf. I thought I’d get Halloween candy because it’s on sale, but the sale was so confusing with tags that didn’t match the bins so I gave up. The self scan checkout was a very long line. 2 of the 6 machines weren’t working at 5 pm, the busiest part of the day. And why do they have the frozen foods and dairy separate from the rest of the groceries???
The prices are very good. The selection of wines is superior. The price for red meat is a little high. The price for chicken is amazingly low. I am only disappointed that it takes so long to check out.
Checkout was a nightmare. Took about 2 hours to pay for about $60 worth of items. I was overcharged, spent forever at the register, then customer service, then back to another register. What should have been a quick stop for some necessities ended up as a 2 hour nightmare followed by more anguish with my credit card company since they ran my card so many times. Something is definitely working with their system...or something.
Good product
Great hours, helpful staff and extensive selection.
Always a good place to go shopping, whether it’s small or large amounts, their selection is always A+
Stock the shelves and fire your merchandise manager. When a product sells you have to restock the shelves. The store has been poorly operated for a long time. Clean house and get someone that can do the job. . I went into the Meijers on Adams Rd. and they were out of my coffee, my soda, my sandwich slices, and several other things that they stock now and then. I see the same empty shelf space and they have the nerve to ask if you found everything ok. I always say NO and then nothing else is said. I gave one star. They deserve a 0 Meijers told me that they were temporarily out of diet orange soda. The company that sells it told me that it will be on the shelf soon. Its been three years . Thought Id give them another try. About 9 pm went in and filled my cart and when I came to the check out there was employees standing around everywhere. No cashiers. Just the do it yourself. People backed up into the clothing isle. Come on Meijers. You just cant do it. If you cant check out my groceries Ill shop elsewhere. Which I should have done in the first place. Pitiful. You do not deserve one star.
Clean friendly well- stocked store
I love this store. For some reason this visit was irrationally aggravating. Only 2 live people registers open and self checkout backed up into the sea of womens clothing.
They have the nicest employees, especially their pick up employees. I normally go to the one on S. Rochester road by target and they are the rudest people so I enjoy taking the drive to a place who actually cares about their customers.
Better meat and produce quality, selection, and service than Kroger (Rochester Hills).
Today was my first and last day going to this Meijer location. I came to this Meijer because this location had preston taylor lamb of leg for $12 compared to $21.99 regular price. I go up to the lamb section in the meat area and see that all the lamb ID stickers are ripped off and theres zero cuts of lamb in sight.. I see theres an employee stocking meat so I went up to him and asked if they would be getting another order of lamb in. He immediately got an attitude with me and said they dont have it in stock at the moment. I told him it said it was in stock on their website and if I could get a raincheck for the lamb when it does come in stock. He starts yelling at me asking why I keep repeating myself.. I never once said the same thing twice. Im just trying to figure out why theres no lamb out but the website says they have it. Steve J. in the meat department needs to be fired for his aggressive/unprofessional behavior he displayed at his workplace.
5 self scans and two lanes open do you want our business or not
I asked a staff member where I could find bottled water, he had no clue.
This a great Meijer location compared to others in the area. Well-stocked shelves and easy-to-access check-out lanes.
Ok store close to mom for quick stops.
Need to keep the place CLEANER and have nicer people to check you out.
The store is kept up much better than the Walmart. The Walmart on m59 and adams has gone so far down hill....
Havent been there in years, was impressed
This Meijer is not as busy as others so is usually faster to get in & out. A gallon of the Meijer brand milk is always only $1.89 here where other locations are around $2.49. I love their dairy clearance (located in the waist high reach in coolers at the end of a row near the tall coolers with doors). I usually can get yogurt for cheap, last time was 12 cents each. I also got half gallons of Tru Moo chocolate milk for 80 cents & half gallons of Meijer brand white milk for 60 cents. Of course the Best Buy date is within a few days on the clearance items, but is still fresh for days past the date.
Listen, I went to Meijer because the bottle return at Walmart was not functioning and the Walmart staff were very unhelpful. So therefore this Meijer gets 5 stars ♡♡♡
