Dont get how this place has a 4.5 star rating should be more like -5 star manger there basically said he will go to jail if he fix my phone like what never heard of that before basically did not want to his job and was there to get a easy pay check if you dont want to work then quit. I’ve brought an iPhone 6S an Apple Nano and an iPhone 7 to these guys for repair. A new battery and several new screens. They are always very friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and spend the time to explain your problem to you. Each time they have fixed the problem within a couple of hours. Never had a problem and the price was reasonable. My experiences dealing with this company have always been good. I would recommend them.

US Cellular sent me here due to a broken screen. UBreakIFix was honest enough to tell me that the phone really wasnt worth fixing. I admire that, especially since they have nothing to gain from it. This is the type store that I will definitely do business with next time!

I love ubreakifix. Ive used them over half a dozen times over the years for various repairs. Probably closing in on a dozen times. Every experience has been perfect. Customer service is great. Prices are reasonable. Service is fast. Answering phone calls are prompt. Ive only had one device that they declined repairing, and it was only due to the fact that it would be cheaper to replace it. When something tech breaks thats beyond my skills, I cant call them fast enough.The only thing they could do better is open at 8 am instead of 10 am. And thats being extremely critical. Every experience has been great and Ive used multiple locations with the same results.

My screen was broke and Verizon kept telling me I need to get a new phone, the uBreakiFix in Dekalb were rude and refused to help me. So I called the place in Rockford and they had all the parts in stock told me step by step what they were going to do. Said it would take 2 hrs and they got it done early. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I used them before to get my sons xbox fix and now my phone. I will only go to the Rockford store but I definitely recommend them.

My phone went on the fritz so I took it in tohave it assessed. I was told Id have an answer within 48 hours and I did. Received a call in a timly fashion and was advised that it was still under warranty and that the cost to repair the phone might exceed the actual cost of the phone. I was not charged for the assessment. I appreciate their honesty. Will seek out their services if I ever have a future problem.

Today I just stopped in to buy a new wireless charger from the guys and gals here and they had exactly what I was looking for it. Two technicians were available they answered a couple of questions for me about my device and gave me some good advice about other phones that I’m going to seriously consider the next time I’m looking to replace my current one.This is definitely not the first time that I’ve got some thing repaired by these technicians in the Rockford store is my favorite one! They’re always polite, friendly and always do their best to help out the customers. There’s been so much negativity in the world in the last year and I’ve never written a review before for these guys despite how many repairs I’ve gotten with them. So again I would just like to point out that technicians like Kelsey and James who helped me out today are wonderful! Would definitely recommend and regular we do! They gave me a longer time frame than they really needed. Even being backed up they got my phone fixed super quick. And when I came to pick up they took the time to help me get my new case on... honestly super happy with their work!!

I brought my I Phone to the Machesney Park IlStore to replace battery. They broke my screen protector while replacing battery. They did replace it but after two try’s and really bad attitude they sent me to the Rockford store. I don’t know why Machesney store gave me attitude THEY BROKE IT !So went to Rockford and could not be happier.One try screen protector on ! No bubbles or finger prints and my phone worked great !If you ever need repairs UbreakIfix on Perryville is the place to go . Very helpful and professional.

I walked in with a dirty charge port they said $10 and they will fix it and clean it. They take it in back 10 minutes later come out and say I have a broken charge port. Iafter the the lady would not let me plug it in at uBreakiFix I took it to Verizon they plugged it in and it charged perfectly did not need the $100 fix that they wanted .do not take your phones here it is a scam joint

Beware, the new requirement for Samsung repairs here is unacceptable. They returned my phone to meunrepairable with the back glass shattered, taped together, and missing pieces. It was only cracked with 1 crack when I brought it in. The excuse was well it was already cracked...

However, we did not just arrive. We called several times to get a work time estimate, on my Samsung device, before we made the trip to your company store. Every time, we were quoted a 30 minute work time on the phone. And yes, we also clarified every time that it was a Samsung phone. We understand if as a company, you all have to take walk in customers, but if my daughter called 10 minutes before our arrival, confirmed that it was a Samsung phone, and was yet again quoted a 30 minute work time, then that is on your company for misquoting and massively miscommunicating. We declined leaving my device because we live 1&1/2 hours from your company store location (again, emphasizing why we called at least four times to confirm that it would be a 30 minute wait time). I was not going to travel back the next day to retrieve my device. We could not have possibly arrived any earlier before your closing time becuase it was a work day, and we both have jobs. We arrived as soon as we could (5:10 PM), and you all close that store at 7:00 PM. If your company store would have been willing to close about 10 minutes later for the sake of your paying customer, who on your companys word traveled all the way out to you, then I would not have been nearly as disappointed in your companys lack of communication and lack of concern for your customers. I did not have the time to travel to your company store that weekend either - in case that would be your next point.There wont be a next time we need you all as we wont be seeing you soon. Thanks for nothing.

Went to the 1 on perryville road rockford. Have read some good revues. But i needed a sim card pulled out cause it went to far in. 1st they said 100 to take 6 screws out n get it. But couple min later they pulled it out. 30.00. What a joke. I didnt expect to get it free but 30 for 3 min. So no more n wont recommend thr6

Went in for a charging port replacement on an iPhone 7 Plus, was given straight answers and told exactly what needed to be done to repair the device. Staff was incredibly friendly, professional and just nice to be around and knew what they were doing. Was told to expect it to be done within and hour or 2 and was not dissatisfied. They even installed a new screen protector at half price for my charging port replacement and all I can say is if you need something fixed, bring it here and you will not be disappointed :)

He still managed to finish my brothers and my phone in time with an amazing attitude & gave great service on a super busy day. Made an appointment on line. Walked in and they told me I didnt actually need an appointment. Asked them to fix a nintendo switch. They were unable to find anything wrong even though the card reader did not work. The place smelled awful unsure if it was due to bad cleaning or them fixing electronics...smell was like extremely bad BO.

So I went to get my son PS4 repaired initially for a Disc error or Disc Drive repair and my son PS4 202k1 Game was stolen. Now Im waiting for a manager to call me back to see where his game disappeared to or who took it. I was distraught the day I picked his system up because the guy at the desk is beyond poor customer service or people skilled.... left without getting it.. what came in with the game system because the disc obviously wouldnt retract, was to come back with the game system. But I am waiting on the manager James to come in to work on tomorrow to see who took upon braking the handbook rules in the handbook by taking what is not bought or giving to. Now my son is sitting home sad because of a UBREAKIFIX EMPLOYEE. I hope it comes up with no scratches like they found it> brand-new as I bought it, to be returned to the owner< my son as I co sign as being the adult. Im taking this matter to corporate if it isnt resolved, etc.

Awful, Awful, and Awful. I took my sons IPad in to get a new battery. The initial timeframe was 24-48 hours after they received the new battery. 2 weeks after the battery arrived I called for an update, 3 weeks later I did the same thing, I was then told they accidentally cracked the screen and needed to replace that first, finally 4 weeks later I was told I could come and get the iPad. I got the iPad back and the home button was not put back in place correctly. I immediately took the iPad back and was told in 24-48 hours I would have my sons iPad back. 2 weeks later, after I called for an update, I was told that the motherboard now needed to be replaced. Keep in mind, I just took this iPad in for a simple battery replacement because I thought my sons iPad battery was draining quicker than I thought it should. 6 weeks later, I was finally told they couldn’t figure it out and to come and get my iPad with a full refund. Honestly, the only reason I am writing this is because of what happened at the end. I waited 20 minutes in the lobby until I was finally seen. I was then given back my iPad that worked when I dropped it off, and told i would not be getting a refund and I should update my iPad. These guys may replace a lot of cracked screens, but they have no clue what customer service is, or how to handle a problem when it arises. Complete joke.

I was really happy that they came out to my house instead of me having to go there however when they got here my phone had a little bit of moisture damage on the inside and they refused to do the work even though I still was going to pay some old level upset about that

My phone had water damage and the screen wasn’t working. Jim’s son was able to take it apart and see that the motherboard was shot. An internal fix is not generally included in what the company does, but he got it working! Great service and price- highly recommended! Thank you Jim and Nick!

I went to have the cracked screen on my Ipad mini replaced. Very efficient employees gave me a written quote, much lower than their competors. They told me it would most likely be ready by the end of the day. And it was, works great, and no hidden charges.

The screens are at waist level, maybe lower. Im sure its painful leaning over them all day. They deserve better.Overall, great experience here! Customer service was excellent. They fixed my iPhone screen within an hour, and they take my cell service provider insurance so my out of pocket fee was less than I expected.

The service was great, and the feeling of confidence I felt by talking to the tech was comfortable. Only one little glitch was that the tech was supposed to call me when the repair was done, and I did not get a call. I went to check on their progress 1/2 hour before they closed, and it was done. My phone wouldnt charge. I thought my lightning connection was loose. The gentleman at the desk said hed take a look to see what the problem was. He cleaned it up no charge in less than 5 minutes. Obviously Im thrilled but I must point out he was extremely nice and seemed happy to do it.

Awesome experience all around. Before I took my MacBook Pro to be fixed, I tried everything I could find online to fix it without any success. These guys were willing to run diagnostics without charging me. It turned out to be a simple fix and they didnt charge me for it. Im completely blown away and very grateful.Had I taken it to the Apple Store, I wouldve paid hundreds of dollars for unnecessary new parts and Id be without my computer for a few weeks.I cannot say enough good things about this place. I wish I wouldve gotten the names of both guys that helped me but they were both just wonderful. They were not able to fix my iPad unfortunately (well, not without essentially replacing all of the parts, which wouldnt be worth it), but they did a great job diagnosing and didnt charge me anything since they couldnt fix it even after trying a few things. Im pretty sure they took a loss on this one, not even counting their time. I really appreciate the good service.

These guys are great! They are Samsung certified, meaning your warranty will not be voided and fixing your device will fully reinstate your existing warranty. Why would you go anywhere else?! Ubreakwefix. more like u break we break. I dropped my phone off yesterday. Went to pickup today. I was the first in line. They attended 3 different customers, all of which arrived after me, one politely even mentioned I arrived first. They attended those customers and then when the store was empty they broke the news to me. They broke my phone. Now that didnt bother me as much as the fact that they made me wait just so the others wouldnt hear. Yes they offered to send it into Apple to have the button they broke fixed but still charged me $50 for the fixed screen.

Having a broken phone is no fun but these guys made it easy and hassle free getting it back in working order! Friendly and knowledgeable!
