I am beyond pleased with my experience at Prime Volvo. My family and I were treated with the utmost professionalism. No pressure displayed at all but very attentive staff ready to assist us and set up several test drives. All of our questions were answered and options clearly explained and clarified with patience. We felt truly appreciated for our interest and valuable time given to looking at Prime Volvo for our vehicle purchase. My experience with Courtney was very brief as I just needed an insert for the cup holder in my new car. What I really wanted to comment on was the great experience I had buying my new car! I really like their “no attack” sales approach and instead I was introduced to Victoria who was able to guide me through the new car purchase from the initial test drive to final sale. I have to admit that I like buying new cars but I hate the pushy salespeople. Victoria was awesome! I picked out a new red Volvo and I am so happy with my new car! There are so many features and Victoria was able to handle all my questions! I know if I have any questions in the future that Victoria will be there to help.
This was my first time at this dealership. I had to bring my car in for problem that was covered by a warranty. A dealer in Norwood refused to see me because I did not purchase the car from them. Even though I did not purchase my car from this dealer I was met with courtesy, kindness and professionalism I was also very impressed with how clean the place was. I find it interesting that this place has so many positive reviews. It took 5 1/2 weeks for my title to come after being told it was to arrive within 2 weeks. Within that 5 1/2 weeks I sold my personal vehicle (which they were aware of) as I was expecting the title to come in the timeframe they originally told me. They also didn’t have the title from the Lienholder, but gladly took my 10K deposit. In the state of Massachusetts it is not lawful to sell a vehicle without the title from the lienholder. It is also not lawful to have the car in the same lot as other vehicles available for purchase.Since the purchase of my car which I do love, I noticed a few small things that in my opinion should have been taken care of in the 5 1/2 week span they had the vehicle sitting on the lot waiting for the title. To get any communication from the staff I basically had to hound them, including the gentleman who sold me my car. To get any sort of correspondence or answers I had to contact the manager directly multiple times. To get any communication from service I had to call multiple times. I will say Debbie in the service department was lovely and more helpful than any staff member I encountered during this entire ordeal.So if you’re looking for a place to buy a 30k car unlawfully, be taken advantage of & receive zero customer service after the time of pick up, this is the place for you!

Terrible.Pulled up for my 10am appt which I was on time for. Service door didn’t open. Was told appt would be 11/2 - 2 hrs. 3 hours later had to ask for car back to leave. Never told it would take that long, didn’t offer a lender to keep car.Needed sensor on front of car fixed, still broken.This was a really good dealership, service dept sucks. Won’t go back.Bad experiences in Plymouth and Rockland service. Running out of places.BMW OR Audi here I come!

This company does not communicate amongst each other well. They continuously disregard customers concerns. We were told certain damages on our vehicle would be taken care of and we received the vehicle with new existing damages. They registered our vehicle without retrieving an inspection sticker, therefore our registration on our vehicle was suspended. When submitting the paperwork required for registration it never seemed to meet compliance, the company continuously requested addition paperwork with different forms of names and billing statements. The women (Victoria) who sold us the vehicle had no clue about cars and told the manager false information about what was said in regards to purchasing. Also, the general manager was extremely rude, he raised his voice on the phone several times and was extremely belittling when trying to have a conversation. This company did not seem like they wanted our sale they continuously stated “we can sell this car to someone else” and completely disregarded our passion and concern to buy a large value purchase. In my opinion find a car sale company who values their customers not just a paycheck! Needless to say we will never conduct business with this company EVER AGAIN!

Dropped my Volvo XC60 for a service visit, John in service could not have been more accommodating and courteous. I actually purchased my Volvo from another dealer, I would not even consider using anyone but Prime Volvo for any future purchases/service needs.
I had the pleasure of working with Jeff. He was straight to the point and made the process move quickly and smoothly. The location is immaculate - plenty of space if you need it while waiting. The pre-loved car was priced competitively and they were negotiable with my trade in. I didnt have to think about a thing - they handled everything with the insurance, registration, etc. When I returned for inspection, the shop guy even gave my car a little tubby :) Excellent service!
You expect that they will do a good job, give you your car back clean and have a comfortable lobby to wait in which is all true. I also feel like I get all of their advice without ever being pressured to do something I don’t want to.
These folks are professional and thorough. They give me confidence that my car is in great hands.
My “low battery charge” came on. I was greeted upon arrival, immediately assisted at the desk and told I might need a new battery- which was the case. I was kept informed via texts and in person as I waited in the clean spaced- apart waiting room. An assistant also sanitized my car on the drivers side before it was serviced. The car was washed at the end - always a nice finale. Masks were worn by everyone.
They acknowledge that they double charged me $497.40 for a remote starter. Service manager says they can’t issue a credit to my credit card- they have to mail me a check. 3 months later - no check. Service manager says it’s an issue with the home office so it’s not her problem. Will never use them for anything again. BEWARE!

Top notch dealership all the way around. We found a used Jeep Wrangler on their website that just arrived. It was exactly what we were looking for. I called and spoke to salesman Olajide Ogundipe who informed me the vehicle was available. I gave a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle until we could come later that day. We visited and loved the vehicle and told Olajide exactly what we wanted for the trade. Very quick and easy process. One hold up was the title delivery, but this had nothing to do with the dealership. They had just received in a trade 2 days prior, so the bank was delayed in sending the title. We waited for the title to arrive, 2 weeks and was called by the GM (Boulos) and Olajide several time to make sure we knew the process. The day the title arrive, we received a call to come pick up the jeep. We arrived at the dealership and within 30 minutes we had the whole process settled with finance, Justin Boyd. Signed some documents and we were on our way. Highly recommend this dealership. Honest, fast and communicative which are excellent qualities for a dealership.

Do NOT buy a car from here unless you live nearby. I was looking at one of their CPO cars and getting pictures/information was a nightmare. They were very quick to get my information for a loan but refused to send pictures to me. I figured i would take a chance and make the 5 hour drive to see the car in person and hopefully bring it home (i brought a trailer with me) but when i arrived the, the car did not only look different than the few photos on their website, but it wasnt even ready to be picked up (i asked several times if the car was available to take home). When i spoke to the manager to see if he could help me not make a complete waste of my trip, he basically said my only option was to come back the following weekend when the car came back from the body shop. I asked for photos when it was done and here we are, 3 weeks later and still no photos. The dealership is beautiful and everyone was very polite, its just a shame they lied to me and didnt care that i wasted time and money to travel 10 hours round trip.
I have been in the service industry for my entire life and I believe in giving chances to make things right before taking to the internet to write bad reviews. I have given Prime multiple chances over 3 months and to no avail. Not even a phone call or email response.Prior to visiting the dealership, we visited several on the North Shore and in Southern NH on our quest to find “the one”. We found our experience at all of the dealerships to be wonderful. We had exceptional service everywhere we went and the General Manager introduced themselves at each of the dealerships.What brought us to Prime was seeing the exact model vehicle we wanted. We made an appointment and headed on down early on a Saturday morning. When we arrived, we had to wait for a bit, but once we were able to drive the vehicle, we knew again it was “the one” and we wanted to buy it. There was some discrepancy, as it seemed another couple was also there to see the same vehicle. Our salesperson was very green and we felt nothing special about purchasing from him. The dealership was busy, and I understand that, but he made us feel as if we were just another number and he was so busy he had to hurry along. He spent more time telling us how many cars he would sell on that day than actually selling us the car or helping us make the decision. The number one issue we were trying to work through was the lack of tread on the tires and the concern there. We have owned enough of these vehicles to know about the tires. There was no budge on that, and that was fine, something we could overcome.Here is where things go really wrong. When we picked up the car, it was not inspected and we were told it would be up to a 2 hour wait to inspect it and were given the option to leave and send receipt for reimbursement. We chose to bring it home for inspection. There was also no orientation of the vehicle. Never have I bought a new car without the salesperson giving a little attention to the features of the vehicle. Needless to say, I brought the car for inspection and was advised that the tires wouldn’t pass. I submitted the receipt for reimbursement, per instructions from our salesperson. I have not received reimbursement yet. Nor have I received any responses to my emails inquiring. I escalated to the business manager via voicemail as well as email and have not received any response. I understand it is $35 and probably means nothing to anyone, but it is the point. The point that I had to have the vehicle inspected myself (likely because they knew the tires wouldn’t pass), and I had to submit the paperwork. Very poor customer service.I have also asked for other paperwork regarding work that was done on the vehicle to certify it, multiple times and again no response.Today I tried to email the GM to the email address found on the website. It came back invalid. Tried to call, voicemail full. Used the website chat feature and was told someone would contact me. Didnt happen.Worst customer experience ever.

I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience at Prime Volvo. Four months ago I noticed that the wheels of my XC 60 suffered some condition problems. The finish was starting to come off and my car was only a year old.During my first service appointment, they took photographs of the wheels and said they would review the issue with the warranty department of Volvo and that they would get back to me.I followed up multiple times over the ensuing months. Four months and multiple phone calls later I still could not get a call back. Not even a call to tell me that they were still working on it.So I escalated my case to the GM of the dealership. They asked me to bring the car in again. They kept my car for theee days only to tell me that the problem with the finish will not be covered under warranty.As a point of comparison, my Ram Truck suffered a similar problem on the wheels and my truck was two years older. Within two weeks of bringing my truck in for service at Quirk Ram in Marshfield they provided me with four new rims. So in two weeks Quirk resolved my issue whereas Prime Volvo took over four months to deny me any assistance.

Really enjoyed the experience with prime Volvo. we worked with jeremy during the initial visit and second test drive. he was very helpful on features and discussing models/trims that helped fit the car to my family. I never once felt pressured into anything which made the process extremely easy. the dealership had a giant tv so the kids could watch cartoons while we chatted numbers.they were very fair for my trade in value and the buying process only took a couple hours all in. Ive never owned a Volvo before, but the dealership experience was far nicer than the pushy people Ive experienced in the past with the bigger volume brands (toyota, honda, etc..)

Unprofessional, unreliable and dismal customer serviceI had just bought a used car (2013 S60 T5) from Prime Volvo South Shore about four months ago and the car did not even make it to its first oil change with enough oil in the car. The car runs on about 7 quarts of oil and there was barely 1 quart left which was absolutely black. I had only driven the car about 6000 miles and was still 4000 miles out from my first oil change when this message kept showing up on my dashboard. (“ No oil pressure, Stop Immediately”).The process of purchasing the car was handled at a very slow speed which took over two hours to finalize all the paper work to only realize that there was a discoloration in the rear bumper while the cars tags were being transferred over. The car had been advertised with no accidental report and was suppose to have a clean car fax. When the representative who sold me the car was questioned about this obvious fault, he mentioned saying the car must have been in a small fender bender in the parking lot and there is nothing that can be done to rectify this since I had already made the payment.After getting to drive my car for about two months, there were minor problems noticed along the way which I figured would be best to be addressed, as my warranty was still active. While being in touch with South Shore and asking them if I could visit a Volvo showroom closer to me, they made me schedule an appointment with them in person having me drive the car all the way in from Plattsburgh New York, which is where I currently live. They had promised me a loaner as I arrived and I was not given anything. The problems mentioned to the staff regarding the car were brushed off as they said they recalibrated all the inaccuracies. At that same moment, they had mentioned to me that my oil levels were low and had topped it off and sent me on my way. Don’t you think this problem should have been highlighted and addressed when I brought the car back in, under my warranty period, given that I had only driven the car less that 3000 miles and there had already been oil missing?I have been in contact with the staff at South Shore and they have been of no help since I have brought this problem to their notice. They said “every car burns oil.” Do you think it is normal for a car to be burning such mass quantities of oil in short distances? You can see how this is beyond problematic for a buyer who has not asked for any financial help but has paid for the entire car upfront and has been sold a lemon in the process. The only reason I decided to buy a car out of state and from South Shore was based on their reliability and their reviews. I had gone to a place right down the road before entering Volvo, as I was seeking some reassurance and liability towards the car but I ended up worst than that place I visited down the street earlier that day. I am not a person to ever go out of my way to write out a review, but this entire process of working with South Shore has left a very sour taste and I would want to warn people about going in to do business with them in the future.Moving forward, I’d like to know what is Prime Volvo South Shore and Volvo going to do to rectify this problem?

I dealt with Olajide as my salesman and Lynn as the financer. This is 100% the best experience I have ever had buying a car. They had no problem letting me take the car to my mechanic, where the 7 dealerships i tried before would not let me. Olajide was not pushy, he was kind and helpful. I did ALOT of research of prices, cars, hidden fees, etc. before buying, and this location seemed to be the best around. BTW I have BAD credit, and Lynn managed to get me financed at a reasonable interest rate, without a surprise fee. Most places would turn me away, but here at Prime Volvo they made me a deal without screwing me over. CANT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PLACE
Great service - there was no pressure to buy the car but they provided a great overview of all the features and everything was processed very quickly.Jeff from Prime Volvo came to my house twice, first to collect payment (I forgot to take a check book to the dealership) and then to deliver the car which saved me a repeat journey to the dealership. I’m not really sure why VOLVO is not supporting customers that have known problems with leaking oil. I have had to refill my oil 3 times with 4 or more quarts of oil in between my oil changes. Most recent oil change was 5,000 again and I have put in 10 quarts of oil in the last two north. It’s outrageous. I own a 2015.5 S60 Premier. I learned that this problem is well known to VOLVO. If VOLVO is aware of this they should be replacing said parts. Last week when I went in I was looking at the XC60. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from VOLVO as they are producing lemons and not covering the repair. It’s well documented all over the internet. I had been trying to speak with an actual human in customer service about this since February and all she does is email me. I’m sure this is to keep a record of our conversations. I reached out to the attorney generals office to assist. Sad that I have to take it this far. I thought Volvos reputation was better than that. Why should the customer pay for lemon vehicles? I can’t believe how long this is going on and they are allowed to reproduce these lemons. Fortunately I learned this before I purchased another car from them. So disappointed.In response to Courtney, the vehicles are all having this issue around the same mileage. And had Volvo been more upfront with me about the issue when I had having increased oil changes we wouldn’t be having this conversation. The oil consumption test was done on my vehicle. I’m not an irate unreasonable consumer without just cause. You are selling lemons. It’s all over the internet. Unfortunately I was unaware of this when I purchased the vehicle.
Please be careful, when you go there everything looks so nice but i have since April that i asked for a warranty cancellation and today its September and they havent done anything yet, after a lots of phone calls, office visits, they call me a month ago telling me that now Im all set. Today after a month i called directly the warranty company and they said they dont have any cancellation form from the dealership. Now Im trying to get in touch with them and nothing, voicemail. Try to resolve this in different way...never go back there again
Service was great. No pressure. I knew what I wanted and they did not push other options on me. Provided a smooth experience from online inquiry to text message communication and quick turnaround. The facility is amazing too, with great coffee. In general a positive experience for selecting, testing and finally buying my car. Will pick it up in a few days after they get it ready - they will speak directly to the insurance company for me.

Was working with Jason from sales for over a week on purchasing a car from out of state. He promised he would have new photos for me after the car returned from the shop early last week. I called in to check in was told the car was back on the lot last Friday and to expect an email with the photos I requested. Still no email, Ive called in and tried to reach him several times, couldnt connect. Finally I decided to speak with another sales agent and they informed me that the car just got back from the shop last night and it is already sold. We are Tuesday today. Dont buy a car from these people unless you can do it in person, their sales agents dont seem qualified to do a remote sale.

Brought my Volvo in to have a the heater / ac blower fixed. Got my car back, heater and ac sounds like they work. Lots of noise but not a lot of air coming out of the vents. I ended up bringing it back because of the low volume of air coming out of the vents and John (service manager) ends up pushing back on me about the issue. Fact of the matter is this, I was unhappy with the result of their initial repair and basically told I didn’t know how to operate my car. Picked up the car a 2nd time and was handed a receipt showing they were unable to replicate the conditions. Thanks guys!
On a Friday night I noticed there was a problem with my tire, it had a big bubble in it from an unknown cause, making me swerve while driving. On Saturday morning I called 5 volvo’s and no dealer was able to help me accommodate transportation or have time to fix the problem. Then I called my last hope, Prime Volvo of South Shore, and thankfully Pat from service answered and I told him my issue and he told me he will call me back. Within 5 minutes I received a call and he said he can take me in, after he orders the tire and he has a rental available for me. I immediately got my car towed and headed on over. Pat assisted me and told me he’s got it handled, and I can’t thank him enough, and this dealer for having such a great service advisor. I went from being stressed, to stress free with the piece of mind I will have my car the following week, including a loaner to get around. Thank you Volvo and I hope to come back here for service again. -Christian

Justin and Mike have personable styles that make you want to invite them to your family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Both were quick to respond to emails and text messages. Justin is unequivocally the most personable Finance Manager I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. (And I have owned 10 cars in my lifetime.) His *style* transcends mundane transactional relationships. I wish I could place an extra star on this review for Justin and Mike and give them SIX GOLD STARS. They deserve them.

My wife and I have purchased many new vehicles. I can tell you that we have never had such a wonderful experience. Beginning with the greeting received from Jason which was warm and inviting. After talking with Jason for a while we decided to look at the XC40. Jason then handed us off to Steve. We went through the purchasing stuff and agreed on the details. We were then teamed with Jason and signed all the required documents. At this time I feel it necessary to tell you that we were already very pleased with the entire process. I realized then that I hadn’t brought a check but no worries Jason spoke to the general manager and it was determined that Steve would follow us home and receive the check. I will say that I have never had such outstanding customer service in any of the services I have received. I will always come back to Prime and tell everyone what a great experience we had there. As we were waiting for everything to be finalized we were amazed at how friendly and courteous the entire staff was. You have a great crew there and should be proud
