Took my 64 Falcon to Rocklin Transmission with a badly leaking C4 auto transmission. It was not working properly and Gene and I went for a test drive. After removing the transmission he found several things burned and bad seals. They took care of it and a few other things. Gene and Crystal were very friendly and the other mechanics also. This is the second time I have used them with much success. Price was very reasonable and I am very happy with the repairs they did. Highly recommend Rocklin Transmission.

I called to get a quote for replacing a transmission on my car. Krystal picked up the phone and was very rude and unprofessional. I tried to carefully explain what my problem is, but she interrupted me and aggressively told that she doesnt know what the cost is going to be and then hang up the call. Poor customer service!

The Rocklin transmission team went WAY above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I was a happy customer. As it turns out, after days of work, among problems with my transmission, I had a bad computer. These types of problems are not always easy to diagnose but they didnt give up until the issue was resolved. Im confident they lost money on my servicing as they spent FAR more time than was quoted to fix the car, yet charged me for only the quoted amount.This is a mechanic you can trust and thats a rare and valuable find today.

Gene is the best! Called him up and told him the truck was acting up. Not shifting properly, check engine light on all kinds of bad things were happening. Gene said Dont worry Ill handle it . Did he ever! tow truck showed up with an hour took the truck in and i had it back a couple of days later for only $331. I thought for sure i was looking at a new transmission and even stated that and instead only $331. Made my day. Thanks to Gene and Shannon and the entire staff.

Talk to the owners wife yesterday about installing my transmission. She said she was relaying the information to the owner and came down with a price of $350; $550 if I didn’t have all the bolts.(this is just installing the transmission, not taking one out just putting one in. I already have another transmission I was going to install I just don’t have the time now with work and school. So after the call I grab all the nuts and bolts. I organized them when I took them out so they stayed organized, head count of bolts matched to the amount I took out and bam we good to go.)Called again today to finalize the appointment and the owner with a rude and loud tone change the price to $750-800 and $1000+ if I didn’t have all the bolts, kept trying to talk over me when I was trying to talk, and just being unnecessary.I can not speak about his work but as of communication/customer service It’s a no go for me!

Brought in my 94 F-150 for a new clutch. They found the transmission was leaking fluid into my cabin area through the shift stick, so they fixed that up as well with a new boot kit. The new clutch only took a day. I left and noticed the stick was moving pretty funny, not in the normal range. I brought it back in the next morning and they fixed it right up for me. Great work for a great price, I highly recommend these guys for transmission work.Ive put over 5000 miles on it since the clutch replacement and no issues at all, runs like a champ! Towed a 7500lb trailer to and from the dump, no issues what-so-ever.

I went over to meet/interview the people I would entrust with my truck and was impressed by the depth of knowledge and experience which is extensive. I arranged for them to do the work and they got it done promptly. They even allowed me to watch the tear down as I wanted to see how a transmission works. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Gene is a crook. My gf bought an 06 Pontiac from a gentleman in Reno, Nv in August. Included in the purchase was a warranty for the recently rebuilt transmission. The warranty was hand written by the owner of Rocklin Transmission. It stated that the transmission would be covered for 12000 miles or 1 year and all parts and labor were covered. On October 3, the transmission went out. The car would not move an inch. I called Rocklin Transmission and spoke to Crystal and explained who I was and that the transmmission had gone out. She told me that she new of the vehicle and to bring it in and to bring it in and they would take care of it. We had the car towed to the shop on the 17 of October. After a few days, we finally called back to see if anything had been done on the car. At this time Gene explained that transmission was not covered but the warranty was only for the previous owner. Then he said that he is an honest guy and he would work with my gf. He said that he would do the work but she would have to pay for parts and if she didnt like it he would just put a lien on the car and be done with it. Its now been two+ weeks and the only thing thats been done is that the transmisssion is out of the car. My girl paid a lot of money for that car and Gene needs to honor his warranty. He is a bad business man and a crook.
