I have been taking my car to the Rocklin, CA shop since I bought it in 2019, and I dont even live anywhere in the area anymore. Thats how much I like the service I receive there!!! I have put over 50,000 miles on my car. They have done my oil changes, filter changes, transmission flushes, and tune-ups.Its always a pleasurable experience. The staff is always upbeat, knowledgeable, and are always talkative and smiling. And I dont think theres been a time when the other waiting customers havent been cordial, polite, and friendly. My services have always been quick and reasonably priced. I Highly recommend!

I realize I might have arrived at an especially busy time, but I still feel that the service I received was NOT up to par. I arrived at 12:50pm. I waited and watched the monitor that showed where my car was. At 1:45, it was still in the parking lot where I had parked it. At about that time, the car was moved into the building for servicing and the hood was opened. Thats it. Nobody came and looked at the car for any longer than 30 seconds. They just glanced in and put a mark on their clipboard. In fact, it was not worked on at all that I could see. According to the bill, they checked the transmission fluid, the power steering fluid, the window washing fluid, the air filter, the battery, the wiper blades and the tire pressure. They also said that they topped off the coolant and washed the windows... which they did not. Nobody spent enough time on my car to have accomplished any of these things... yet they had no trouble in checking them off as completed. Mind you, I watched the entire thing on their video monitor, so these things could not have been done when I looked away. Im hoping this review will serve as a catalyst for SpeeDee Lube to be a little more conscientious about their work.

Excellent service! I prefer to work on a lot of my own vehicles but when I cant this is one of the only trustworthy places I go to. They provided an honest evaluation of the work needed to be done on my truck and a much better price than what the dealership was stating. I would absolutely recommend this shop to all my friends and family!

Well, first off the staff are all very friendly, I have some services done and have always been very happy. It is a team effort and they seem to all get along and atmosphere is happy..Id like to say great great job to the pitman..he is under the car and unseen and should get more credit from people . Pulled up to get an oil change this morning. One of the guys came out and took our information, and told us to park in a certain spot and he would pull it in in about 45 minutes. So I told him we would leave the car there and walk to a restaurant to eat. He said, “Alright we’ll text you when it’s ready.” So we went and ate. Came back and our car hadn’t moved. Come to find out, they never put the car in line and so our car remained in the back of the line and all the other cars went ahead in front. 45 minutes wasted. Didn’t have time to wait another 45 mins so had to leave. Had a great experience last time I got my oil changed here. Don’t know what happened. Maybe lost track of our car in the craziness.

Took my car for an oil change and they called me about thirty minutes later saying I needed a full fluid flush for my transmission, brakes, coolant and power steering and they wanted $800. This is for my 2008 Scion TC which is 13 years old at this point and has almost 200K miles, so obviously the fluids won’t be perfect. I said no and then when I picked my car up I was driving back to work and my maintenance required light was still on along with the tire pressure light (they supposedly checked the tire pressure). I was going to go back but they closed at five instead of six like it says on their website... and the next day I noticed my tail light was cracked. I never did a walk around my car because I had to get back to work but now I badly wish I did.

The employees here are always friendly and professional. ive been coming here for years now and this week I had a cracked oil pan gasket after getting an oil change. When i returned to report the issue they pulled my car directly into the bay and completed another oil change and replaced the gasket for me (at no charge of course). Super nice and professional. thanks guys!

Good service however not so speedy. Took about 50 min when usually more like 20 min. They were short handed but I feel an extra discount should be given since the speediness is why we pay extra in the first place.

This location is great however good luck getting an appointment with them theyre too good everyone wants to go there, Spee Dee if 3 days to wait for an appointment is ok but when you get there they focus on your vehicle so yeah itsSpee Dee...

Theyre fast, always accurate, & got my battery change near close to closing.

I will always highly recommend this Rocklin speedee. Everyone I have ever met who works there has been wonderful. I want to also give a special shout out to Monty who has always treated me incredibly well I appreciate everything you do and this also extends to all of your staff. Because they can do so much more than just oil changes I take my 1999 Toyota to them for every issue I have with the car. I get regular tune-ups and my brakes through them. Today was just a simple oil change and Kyle was a consummate professional, friendly, just a really good guy. Thank you so much to everyone there for making my experience always exceptional.

Update review: I didnt put much in first review but shout out to Monty, Jostin, Barry and Devin. Came in for oil change and transmission service today 4/30/21. Team saw my car tires were overfilled and came out to confirm if I wanted it this way as it was over the tire recommend and the door recommend. I had no idea. So they lowered it to spec.its a small thing but to me good service. Everyone in the group was in a great mood & got me in and out quick...I personally have never had a problem with this business for the (i think) 3 or more years coming here.Always quick at this location and the people working here are friendly. I highly recommend this place

The employees here are always polite and helpful. They dont muck around with trying to sell you on anything you have handled yourself. Came in with a brand new cabin filter and they told me it looked brand new. I appreciate people that have integrity when it has to do with repairs and servicing.

This place is amazing. Great service from the call to the end of my visit. The young lady at the desk was so nice and friendly. Nolan was great, he explained everything. Had me come outside to show me everything he did and the air filter that needed to be changed. First time here and Im so pleased. I will return!

We were SO beyond pleased with our service here. They were able to service our Sprinter van (which isn’t always the case) and were so quick and knowledgeable. If we lived in the area, we’d get our oil changed here every time!

No problem with the service I received but had an uncomfortable experience while waiting. The service manager was talking openly about cholesterol levels with another employee (who I have been told is one of the owners) as well as an issue with not wanting another employee to use the computer prior to his shift starting. I wrote a letter about this and was basically told that it was not right of me to question anything since no customer had ever complained about anything in the years they have owned SpeeDee. I stated another customer seemed uncomfortable as well and that conversations that are personal in nature need to be conducted out of earshot from customers. It was not well-received and I was told I was being “childish”. Evidently I have no right to complain according to the manager/owner so now l will be taking my business to another company.

We were helped and greeted immediately upon arrival, all of the staff was extremely cordial, cheerful, and professional. Ended up having to wait less than 40 minutes for an oil change. Inside they provide seating as well as charging stations, a coffee station, and a soda machine for costumers who choose to wait there.

They have done all of our factory maintenance since our cars were new, off the lot. Reasonable shop rates, never felt gouged or over sold. They will tell you of things that need to be done timely, but they do not hold your car hostage until you agree to the extra repairs. Very honest people with kind, franchise owners.

Recently took my girl friends Trail Blazer in for an oil change. Next day I noticed oil drips on the garage floor where she parks her SUV. I checked under her SUV and it appeared the oil drip was coming from the oil filter. I notated the position of the oil filter with my iPhone and took her SUV back to SpeeDee rip off to have the issue-addressed. After three employees checked over her SUV, they came to the conclusion that during the oil change old oil got trapped above the Skid Plate and was dripping down from there. This vehicle is not a all wheel drive SUV and there is no Skid Plate on the vehicle. I told them the drip was due to the oil filter not being properly tighten which they of course disputed. When I got home I crawled under the SUV and guess what...the filter was 1/4 turned tight from when I brought it back according to the picture I referenced with my iPhone. I called SpeeDee rip off to explain what had happened with the store manager (who has one of the nastiest dispositions I ever seen on a person) . and told me I was basically full of s_ _t, and ending the conversation by telling me to f_ _ _ k off, then hung up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...not. You want my business? Then terminate your rude manager or at least give him some training in how to deal with people. people who by the way provide him and his and his staff with a means to live.

The staff was nice, but the mechanics are lazy or something. I went for smog and oil change service, said I just got the car. The next day I checked the fluids. The transmission and and oil were low. The power steering unit need the fluid replaced. You cant make money in service when you dont offer it. I will be using one of your competitors for my needs. The coupons were nice. It allowed me to see your staff really doesnt want to do any work. Good luck

So about a year ago I bought a car and had these guys do the tune up and oil change on my car. Well, here we are a year later and my oil pan bolt is completely stuck and will not come off! Great place. I take my cars there often. Always great service and they will let you know if it is time for another auto service. Believe it or not you need to change other fluid in the vehicle along with the oil. Also they are fast, best part about this place.

I have been going to SpeeDee for several years & really like the one on Pacific Street across from the Rocklin Post Office. They have always been friendly, reliable, caring, & affordable. The last time I went in I was greeted an exceptional new employee, he greeted me with a smile, a wonderful sense of humor (Im been so busy, I went past the recommended mileage chang by 1,000 miles) he promised he wouldnt tell anyone and I thought that was funny & much needed. At the moment I cant remember his first name but his last name is Cole. If you go ask for him. Great service!

I love the place. i have been going there for the past 5 years. i have going to them for oil changes since 60,000 miles, i am 130,000 miles and have had no issues with them. There communication is good and in laymans terms, They complete the work on my vehicle when they said they would.

Are honest no upselling

Everything was great! These guys are kind and courteous. The person who answered the phone was very polite. I sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes for my smog to find out that it had been done in roughly 20 minutes. My only concern is that they took down my phone number, and i sat in the lobby, and no one notified me that i was sitting for 25 minutes for no reason! Oh well, no big deal, those guys are busy!

Weve been taking multiple older vehicles here for years for oil changes. Highly recommend. Always reliable; good service. Recently we started using them for our smog checks, too--cars have passed despite their high mileage and older age. (We always get an oil change and drive them a bit first.) Be aware that Speedee does always let you know what additional services they feel you need.

When we had expensive 100,000 mile service performed at our Honda dealer, oddly, problems developed afterwards, including a 3 to 4 miles per gallon drop in gas mileage. We returned to the dealer and they found nothing wrong. 25,000 miles later I went to Speedee and they said the transmission oil looked filthy and was low. They flushed and replaced transmission fluid and immediately the gas mileage returned to normal. Also Speedee used full synthetic motor oil. Our belief is dealer had used a cheaper grade such as synthetic blend. Immediate performance increase was noticed.

So sorry to report a bad experience. Oil change was good on my brand new car with 5700 miles in it. I am the only person who has been in this car period except for the tech or techs when oil was changed even until today as I write this. When oil change was complete I had to run to a very important meeting. Upon entering my car I saw paperwork from my glovebox on the passenger floor. I called back as I drove and suprisingly the manager seemed upset with me? He explained my car had a cab filter behind the glove box etc etc etc. With my years of previous dealership experience and mechanical background I fully understood him even through the tones he used. This was no reason to scatter my paperwork and leave it. A couple weeks later I realized the person also stole my brand new Apple phone charger. Called back. Same attitude. I told my wife after, watch tomorrow the call comes in after he “reviews the camera” and I’ll be told nobody stole anything from my car. Guess what? I still have the message on my phone saying the footage shows nobody took anything from my car. $77 synthetic oil change became $90 due to needing a new charger. I’d rather be stole from that treated like I’m too ignorant to understand.

Would not go here at all!!! I used to manage and oils change facility and this one is horrible! The manager was extremely rude to me right when I got there... tried to over charge when I let them know I knew what they were doing I was treated horribly! Right when I pulled up they told me your change will be at least 80 dollars might want to try jiffy lube before I even said anything! They didn’t want business 35 mins before they closed!! My shop would have lived anyone’s business. I’m new to Rocklin and also own a business I feel sorry for the owner with these types of employees! This establishment has lost a could have been multiple car customer for years do to this and I will let my new community know about this!!!

Rude staff when explaining I needed an oil and tire rotation. Apparently they only rotate tires when they are not busy but advertise they rotate tires. Four thousand miles ago I had driven in and they indicated they couldn’t rotate my tires. Last Saturday I took my car in for routine oil change and d now 10k miles on my tires. This time I was told “it’s not going to happen as we are too busy.” You are right Speedy….. not going to happen. Moved on.

Dont test you smog here! They will fail you and not diagnose. Take your car somewhere else. We had a simple electrical fix (IDB II), and they offered to look at it for $95. Unbelievable

They do a great job every time. Monti and the rest of the staff are very professional and friendly. I take my car here for anything - not just oil changes, IE had my front headlights shined up, spark plugs replaced, tires rotated, anything.
