This shop is by far the best shop I have ever taken my M6 to. Dan kept me updated with everything that needed to get done along with emailed updates on all of the diagnostic details. You literally get what you pay for & have to approve the repairs before they just do it so theres no extra charges on unnecessary repairs at all. I love the system they use to calculate all the repairs & what your total is after approval. I would definitely recommend this shop to all of my family & friends. This was my first time at Performance Motor Works. I brought in my E350 Mercedes for maintenance. The entire process was great! Travis was the consummate advisor, walked me through the process and explained what would transpire. They even fixed my bumper (not damaged, just needed to be set back into place). Michael was the mechanic and he did an awesome job. Overall, I am happy with results, liked the communication and how one can follow the mechanic as he progresses through the tasks (all on the cell phone). Thank you!!

When I took my Audi to Travis, I knew I had a coolant leak and a few other things that needed to be addressed. Their process of inspection and showing me pictures of the work they recommended was extremely helpful and built trust. They located a long time problem I was having with a cam sensor and fixed it economically without hesitation instead of pushing the higher priced option. This company is trustworthy and affordable. I will be taking my car back again.

Certain VW Dealership Service shop does not compare to the ‘Service’ I received at Performance Motor Works. With just an oil change and purchase of wipers and a little rubber hood mount, I felt treated as though my business was truly appreciated. They went above and beyond in communication with the willingness and ability to hear me out. They offered answers, or suggestions to questions (not pushback) and assisted- with what- to some- might be considered trivial and not worth business time.Performance Motor Works had me at the little rubber hood mount!!! 🙃

I called and made an appointment a couple of days in advance, then dropped my car off at the appointed time. My car was ready to go by 5 PM with lots of care. Travis is very thoughtful and actually has pictures of areas that need repair. Work is always completed promptly and I trust the quality and the pricing. My favorite Mini repair stop.

They are a great shop to go to and they are super knowledgeable about German automobiles plus they make everything super easy to understand what is wrong with your vehicle they do not try to push anything else on you to buy and are straight forward. They have excellent customer service and keep up to date on everything that they are doing and will be doing to your vehicle and you are never left in the dark about what is going on with your car. All around great shop and guys.

I brought a car in for diagnostic for a check engine light and that no one could figure out the problem. These guys went above and beyond what a regular shop or even dealer would do! They found out the problem was from a previous repair with an updated part that the repair procedure was not followed and needed to remove and cap off a vacuum line which looks completely normal, connected and in place which was causing a low turbo boost problem while driving. This was a very tough problem to figure out and Im glad its fixed!

I appreciate their efficiency and professionalism. We were on a trip to visit family in Rocklin. The water pump started failing in Los Banos. We limped our way to Rocklin and my son was recommended Performance Motors. We dropped our 2011 BMW 535 off in late afternoon and it was ready next day at 3:30. Thank you ! They also changed spark plugs and flushed brake fluid. Life Savers! Also cleared all the codes!!

We went in due to a check engine like. After inspection and diagnostic check was thermostat. Got a quote and approved.Short time later they let me know that part was covered under an extended warranty and BMW should repair it. Very honest business.We had other work done on the car by PMW. Fair price, professional and kept us informed. I trust them when they say what “needs” to be done and what can wait.I won’t go anywhere else!

I had a lean code on my BMW E60 N54. Their team of professionals found the root cause of the problem. They also did Carbon build up/Walnut Blast Cleaning on my vehicle. Im so happy and satisfied of the work and effort that they did. I will comeback for future services. I would recommend this shop to all european vehicle owners and all N54 community.

These guys were super awesome and easy to work with and well worth the drive from Vacaville to have them work on my GTI. Price is very reasonable too and top notch customer care. They keep you updated with the link they text you on your phone.

This is my first time trying out this shop. I chose them because of their positive reviews and the about of reviews. The owner Dan was receptive on what repair I needed on my car and gave me a decent quote for the repair. Another shop was cheaper, but are further away from me and had less reviews. Dan was able to work with me on the price, so I chose his shop. During the work Travis and Dan were able to update me on additional parts needed for the repairs, which I expected, but wasnt looking forward to the additional price. Again Dan worked with me on the price and was able to provide me a courtesy rental vehicle so I can work while they repair my car. Overall great experience. Only complaint I have, which is not a big issue, is the lack a courtesy shuttle service. I will still bring my car back to them for future repairs that I cant or dont feel like doing myself.

Stopped by to get some G12(pink) coolant for a Mk3 Jetta I had just bought. They came out front and made sure I was going to use the right coolant. Luckily they did because I needed G11(blue). Very experienced and helpful. Fairly expensive shop but you get what you pay for.

We have had a lot of different services done on my wifes X3 and everything was done with care. They take their time to diagnose and recommend only what is needed. They do inspect the entire vehicle and make other recommendations, but never pressure you into them. Dan and Travis have never steered us wrong (car pun).

This is a professional establishment they use the same processes that I have experienced at a dealership at a fraction of the cost. I was given a grossly overstated price and told I needed something I did not need from Roseville BMW which I characterize as a shady operation every time I go there the customer service is deplorable I prefer Performance Motor Works hands down.

Very nice and professional and SUPER THOROUGH. As soon as they had evaluated my Mini....I got a txt with everything they evaluated, their findings and their recommendations. No pressure to do any of them, but enough detail for me to decide if it was necessary (with the help of my “smarter-than-me” car friends) to do at this time. Very refreshing.

You dont get just a readout on paper but a full explanation of any current or potential problems including high definition pictures of areas of concern. Amazing work. Great customer service. Pro wing and costs are transparent. They only fix what needs fixing and always offer options. I first came here about 5 years ago with my new VW that Roseville and Folsom VW couldn’t fix. They referred me here. They nailed it down and the pricing was incredibly fair for the amount of diagnosing hours that were involved. About 3 years ago I brought my Audi A6 for what I thought was a water pump. They called me and told me it doesn’t need a water pump but instead it was a thermostat. Instead of charging me for unnecessary water pump work they called me to tell me.Honest mechanics here.

I had to get the trunk wiring harness on my Volkswagen CC Replaced since it is a common issue. They got it all done in one day and even did a complimentary inspection of my whole car. They found a couple of other problems with my car, but it were things that I could easily fix in my garage. They didnt pressure me into paying to perform these services. Really friendly staff, I talked to Travis and he made everything a breeze. I highly recommend them for the DIYer who needs a little bit of professional help.
