Rockville Tire & Auto has been my mechanic for years. They are available in an emergency, incredibly knowledgeable and explain issues they find in detail, and charge far far less than other shops Ive dealt with. I cannot recommend them highly enough - they are AMAZING.

They have done 2 tire plugs for me. Both experiences have been very quick and professional. My preferred tire shop!

Great customer service here! I noticed a nail in my tire, gave them a call, they told me when to bring it in for a look. They squeezed me in and gave it a look and gave me an update within about 15 minutes, super quick for anything auto related.Unfortunately, the nail is in the sidewall so it cant be saved - but they were straight up and straight forward about everything. I would definitely recommend them if you have a tire issue. Thanks guys!

Ive been bringing my car here for years and have never had a bad experience. John and his team are competent, trustworthy, professional, and pleasant. Ive had to deal with other mechanics on occasion, and theyre often rude and make me feel unwelcome as a woman - thats NEVER the case at Rockville Tire & Auto.

Reliable and honest service with a good price. When I had an issue with a flat tire John (I guess the owner) could have easily sold me more than I needed but he was honest and found a cheaper and faster solution that worked for me. Thats the local business I want to support.

Called to inquire regarding a simple wheel alignment. Person said to come on in and that the service could be performed now. Came over and they stated that they do not have time today and come back next week. Of course no one knew who I spoke to and would not even apologize. Look elsewhere as this place is dishonest from the start.

Went in a few months back for a simple Oil Change, I’ve never been to this shop but thought I’d give it a try based off the great google reviews and prices (I had been paying around $100 for oil changes) Unfortunately my car was returned to me and within a few hours a LARGE puddle of oil was running down my driveway. I called them and they offered to pick up my vehicle via tow truck and upon them getting my car they called and told me that everything was fine and no oil had leaked. I was surprised and I got my car back and went on my way. Over the next few days I noticed slightly more oil dripping so just to be safe I took the car back to the shop and they lifted it and said there was an issue with the Oil Pan and it would be a 600$ repair. I have never had an issue with my car up until I brought it to this repair shop. Then through word of mouth I came to learn that they fired the technician that worked on my car (???) I have worked at dealerships before and know that a service tech would be fired on the spot if they had messed up terribly. They never took responsibility for the job, and was left with a leaking vehicle.

Gets job done well for a great price. Can improve on customer service.

Brought my vehicle in to complete the MD Safety Inspection. Easy to schedule over the phone, appointments available within a couple days, timely completion of service, professional and polite customer service. Will definitely consider this shop for any future maintenance needs.

So I called this place to get a quote for my repairs but the guy who spoke with me low-key had attitude. He was on the phone reminding me how old my car is and that people are driving newer models so they dont stock their store with old stuff. So embarrassing. Im glad I wasnt there in person. Will not recommend.

Went in today to fix a flat tire to my run flat tires, while most other places like even MR.TIRE says they cannot fix, these guys were courteous enough to help. Well priced too $21. Very happy..

Needed a state inspection asap. Other places either needed me to drop the car off at 7:30am days later or they had too many negative reviews about scamming people. This place was very accommodating, affordable and didnt try to trick me into repairs. Will be going back to this place.

Came in with a warning light and they got everything patched up in about an hour. They only charged me $35. When does that ever happen? Great place!Update 9/3/2021 - Came in again to have tires checked due to TPMS light. Once again they fixed the situation and in this case charged me nothing. Again, when does that ever happen? Never going anywhere else.

Today bring car to check if have oil leaking problem. John is nice guy and checked for me. I am happy with the inspection.

I honestly like their customer service, as they always try their best to accommodate you with their busy schedule, which is a good sign about an auto shop. What I dont like is their quality of work. For example, I had the thermostat on my cooling system replaced, and they replaced it, but didnt even finish the complete job, as they forgot to put my engine splash shield underneath. As a frequent traveler/commuter, it is integral to have an engine splash shield so as to not have foreign objects go into the engine area. They have great customer service, but just be wary of the quality of work, inspecting your car after it has been serviced by them.

Put in my powerstop brakes and looked over the car really well.As I spent some time waiting for my car, I was impressed with the advice he was giving walk-in clients. Not like a dealer service manager, who would sell anything to a customer, he gave them honest appraisal of their car and offered sound advice.I also had him do the front wheel hubs on my car, and my last oil change.Well done, Rockville Tire!

Great service and trustworthy! AAA towed vehicle, but gave keys to another shop. John at Rockville Tire and Auto went to two adjacent shops and found the keys. The tire was quickly fixed and we paid for only a flat repair. A happy customer from out of state!

I woke up to a flat today and needed it fixed and done with. I called to see of they could get me in and they said come right over. They patched my tire and had me out of the door in about 15 minutes. Patch looks great and the price was very reasonable. These guys are great.

Just spoke to the manager John, and they did a great job on my 07 Toyota Corolla. He was very polite! I had a check engine light that kept coming coming on and going off. I didnt know what was wrong, but they explained it to me. The other shop I took it to, didnt use a factory sensor part and was causing a problem. They are able to get me a factory part and have it installed in a few hours. I put a lot of money into this car, so I was worried I would have to put in a lot more. They also found a lose hose, which is good because the car was revving poorly, as if the engine was running lean. I forgot to mention that and they found the issue. They have a customer for life! Please bring your car here!When heading North on 355, turn right at the driveway the is before the Shady Grove Recycling center. Its in the back. The mailslot is in the garage door. The have after hours drop-off and pick-up, which helps because I work from 12pm to 8:30pm and its hard for me to get to a shop during normal hours. Thank you so much guys!!!

The best customer service I have experienced! I just brought in my vw for alignment but i got a whole lot of help. Very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, thorough and indispensable. I have had my Volkswagen serviced and repaired at Rockville Tire and Auto since June 2015, when I sought Johns second opinion on the pricing and job done at a local dealership. In August, I bought a second Volkswagen, for another family member, and had the guys at Rockville Tire and Auto check it out and do all the necessary repairs. Recently, that car failed emission test, and John replaced catalytic converter, exhaust clamp and rear oxygen sensor for what I consider to be a fair price. Whenever I need a part replacement, John very professionally explains to me what is the function of the part and why it needs to be replaced. Every repair and service that I have had here has been well executed, reasonably priced, and John makes room to see me promptly to have a look at my car if it requires repair. This is a mechanic that is pleasant to deal with and, most importantly, whom I can trust, knowing that he will never replace a part unnecessarily.

Ive been here twice now and have received excellent service both times. They explained the details of what needed to be done in a way that was neither complicated nor condescending.

They will never touch my car again, well technically they never did, they just charged me $95.00 for an alignment they never did in the first place. In hopes that I would come back so they can tell me I must have hit a pot hole. And since I just got one done theyll gladly redo it for half price. Nah Ill pass an never come back again. Came here after their regular service hour for the flat tire repair so I said I can come back tomorrow morning, but they gladly did it for me on the spot! Super nice and fast service.

Called and asked if they could change the oil in my Santa fe - the man who answered made sure to check and see if they had the correct filter and he didnt. However he ordered one and I came to the shop in about 90 minutes and it was there. The service and fairly priced, friendly, and pretty quick. Will definitely be back.

Ive gone here twice with two different cars and they have been exceptional.I called the morning of, and went in within 30 mins. They explained everything and always took my car in as soon as I came in.They fixed a tire I had a nail in, and did a Maryland state inspection for another car. I will surely be coming back here!!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I dont know where to begin with how happy Ive been with John and his crew over the past several years. He is extremely efficient, his prices are so low I cant believe them sometimes, he is diligent about customer service (he promptly returns calls made in off-hours, he remembers my name, etc.). Most importantly, he does good work and takes the time to explain what the issues are and what he recommends vis a vis repairs/service/etc.Even when we moved farther away we continued to use this mechanic because he is the best Ive ever seen.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had a repair done on my car incorrectly, as a result it caused security censors to come on in my car. When I went back to the shop to speak to one of the managers he was rude. He tried to tell me the replacement park was probably faulty, instead of fixing the problem. He basically told me it was my problem because the guy who was working inside of his shop was no longer working there. I was very dissatisfied with the way he spoke to me and his customer service.

Just got the most expensive synthetic oil change of my life here for $75-- well above the national average of $50. Very sad to see so many mechanics take advantage of and price gauge women.

Charged me for an oil change and didnt actually change the oil. Dude came back in 5 minutes saying it was done, and no sticker for the new mileage until I asked about it. Car started having a low oil warning less than 200 miles later. Crooks, never going back
