The company is located in Ohio and employs Amish seamstresses and artisans to create this wonderful line of mattresses. We stumbled across this store after having a very frustrating experience trying out mattresses elsewhere and while literally about to go try some elsewhere. We assumed they would be out of our price range but wanted to just see what luxury mattresses felt like. We fell in love w/ a mattress that was just a little outside our upper price limit. Then we learned it was on sale for Labor Day, which is why we were looking today. The saleswoman was very, very low key—unusual for mattress stores— and very informative. Great return policy. Great warranty. All organic materials; this wasn’t a top priority for us but we are especially happy the foam is not made from petroleum products. We can’t wait for it to be delivered.

After years of spending a moderate amount on money on conventional mattresses (and replacing every few years), last week we made the switch to Naturepedic. The sales experience with Brian was wonderful. He was friendly, informative, and took the time to understand our specific needs. Ive spent a few years on a soft foam mattress and my back was paying for it. I woke up every morning tired and in pain. We made the decision to explore the wonderful world of natural & organic mattresses. After all, we eat organic, natural foods, and avoid toxic chemicals in our home cleaning products, so this seemed like the logical next step! Yes, these are expensive. But you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping, its worth investing in! With their 90 trial period and their warranty, there is no reason not to try. Weve been sleeping on it for 6 days and so far my back pain has all but gone away, and Im waking up feeling much more rested and refreshed. My only complaint is on the packaging. All pieces come shrink wrapped for shipping, but at the end, you are left with a TON of non-recyclable plastic. A company that prides itself on using natural, organic materials and environmentally sound practices should explore other means of packaging so we are not adding to the huge waste problem in the US. Other than that, super duper happy and will likely be back for more mattresses in the future.

But more importantly was able to give firsthand feedback because he actually owns this product! We were in the store at Pike and Roe in Rockville yesterday to brose for our possible future mattress purchase . We had no intent on pulling the trigger until we had tried/tested many different products.Lilly at the store(the only employee there) allowed us to make an appt that was 1/2 hour after we arrived. We greatly appreciated the stores conservative and safe approach to the pandemic.we were totally unfamiliar with the concept of a organic mattress and had no idea about what a new mattress would cost. I normally dont leave reviews but had to in this case because we have had such a good experience with this store (Brian especially) and are really impressed with the quality of the mattresses. My husband and I have been talking about getting a new mattress for a while, but I couldnt bring myself to purchase another flame retardant chemical-filled piece of junk, so we kept putting off making a decision. Then we happened to be in Maryland visiting family, saw this store and decided we had to take the opportunity to go in and actually get to see/touch/try an organic mattress - too big a purchase and commitment to buy sight unseen off the internet, and we hadnt come across the chance to actually shop for organic mattresses in a store before. We braced ourselves for the high pressure sales pitch that was sure to come as soon as we set foot in the store. . . but it didnt! Instead, we met Brian, who offered to answer any questions and let us look around without feeling stalked. When we were ready to ask questions, Brian answered every one knowledgeably, candidly, completely, and by the time we were done, felt really comfortable that wed be buying here. When we finally (a year+ later?) got around to placing our order, we made a point of calling Brian up to order from him even though we live in a different state. SO excited for the mattress to arrive and the whole process has been very pleasant. Would highly recommend stopping in - its a purchase that will affect you every day for years, worth doing it right!

I could tell the moment I waked into the store that this was going to be an easy process. I worked with Brian Fletcher, the manager and he was so helpful, patient, and full of information.There was zero pressure to buy a mattress that day, which was welcomed. If you dont know about the company, you get to choose your firmness or softness of layers within the mattress. He was more than happy to switch out layers to make sure it was comfortable. I must have tried over 10 combinations before making my decision, which was easy. The best part, everything is organic and the prices were comparable to non-organic mattresses. I know that Im not sleeping or inhaling chemicals that will be harmful for myself, husband, and children. It makes me sleep better. Delivery was free and within a week. The pillows are also amazing! Highly recommend.

Traveled over an hour to purchase the 2-in-1 twin mattress. It was well worth it. Brian answered all the questions I had and was extremely helpful. Highly pleased. Their mattresses are made with materials that meet all the current ”gold standards.” If you are looking for a new mattress, this is the place.

Brian and Lilliana were wonderful to work with. No sales pressure at all, just introduced us to the different materials and how their mattresses are designed, we went around the showroom and laid on all the beds (there’s about 10 on the floor) and then we were left politely alone to mull it over. And they were knowledgeable and patient with us as we had to come back into the store another day to try additional options for our mattress after the first few nights weren’t super comfortable and went above and beyond accommodating us with layer swaps during COVID and making sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted. Absolutely stellar customer service! Id give 10 stars if I could.We ended up settling on a queen EOS pillow top, both sides ‘plush coils/soft latex/soft latex’, which is as soft as this arrangement could get. For reference my partner and I are 5’5” and 130 lbs and 5’10” and 150 lbs. And even this arrangement would probably feel somewhat firm when compared to traditional or memory foam mattresses – seems to be inherent in latex material. Don’t be surprised if you end up loving something softer than you think is ‘what you like’.The bed is wonderful though. Comfortable and supportive. Very easy to put together, the amount of packaging is impressive but we found somewhere to recycle the plastic. No chemical smells, but the materials do have a scent – kind of a natural wooly earthy smell. I think it’ll fade in time, but it’s not intrusive. It’s great to have an organic mattress, that’s one less thing in the house contributing to the toxic load (next step…carpets!). Thanks Naturepedic!

We asked for lots of changes so that we could experience the different combinations that these mattresses offer to buyers. Liliana was great and quickly moved things and answered questions as we went. As other customers came in, staff all interacted with us at times and backed each other up as needed.These mattresses are not inexpensive, but it is certainly true that you get what you pay for and our heath as well as our comfort are or top priorities. We will recommend this store to anyone who asks us for a good lead on a great mattress.

You cant beat the piece of mind knowing that you and those you love are sleeping on a safe, non-toxic mattress. Having gone from a big brand memory foam mattress to a Naturepedic EOS Pillow Top, I can tell you one of the biggest benefits from going to latex is no longer waking up in a puddle of sweat. The bed is very comfortable. The mattress is on the firmer side but there are plenty of configurations that should satisfy everyone. I definitely encourage a visit to the Bethesda store. Brian helped me every step along the way and was a delight to work with.

The best mattress buying experience Ive ever had. We were looking for a baby/toddler mattress, and Lily helped us choose the right one for us. She was knowledgeable, made us feel completely at home, and did not try to oversell us anything. She even took the mattresses down from their display to let us lay our baby on them to try them out and compare. We bought the EOS all latex mattress back in Sep, and we have been using the mattress for a few months. We are quite happy about the mattress and the service we received at the Bethesda store and the swap process. We had to swap one medium firm to a firm and the store manager Brian helped me go through the process, which is fairly easy and no question asked. Also need to mention that Brian was quite patient dealing with a super picky customer like me when I tried to figure out which level of firmness I wanted. Overall the mattress is quite pricey but well worthy of the money.

We have purchased a mattress in the past and love it. I just called, and Brian took great care in explaining options for a new mattress for our teen and we expect delivery next week. We were initially just planning on buying a baby mattress, but I couldn’t decide on which one. I saw there was a store a few hours away from us. We went down to pick out a baby mattress and get more information, while actually be able to speak to a human in person, instead of just reading about the company and their products. We were also in the market for a new bed for ourselves as well. So we decided to bite the bullet and upgrade from a queen to a king bed. Why not go all natural toxic free since we are making positive changes and educating ourselves?! Brian was more than helpful and very knowledgeable. He was patient and kind and showed us all of our options. Let me start by saying I rarely take time to do reviews, but I had such a positive experience with Naturepedic North Bethesda that I wanted to take the time to do so. We had already had a Naturepedic crib mattress and twin bed mattress for our kids so when it was time for my husband and I to get a new mattress, we knew we wanted Naturepedic. I was excited to see that there was a Naturepedic gallery store in N.Bethesda so I could see the mattresses in person. From the time I went to the store until my new mattress arrived, the customer service at Naturepedic North Bethesda impressed me. Brian is very knowledgeable about mattresses and was helpful and responsive during the entire purchase process. I needed my mattress to arrive within a certain window of time due to home renovations and Brian ensured this would happen. It is rare to find such great customer service these days! I truly cant say enough positive things about Naturepedic North Bethesda. Not only are the mattresses super comfortable, but they are also non toxic, and have great customer service on top of that. If you go with Naturepedic North Bethesda you wont be disappointed!

I’d first like to say that I didn’t even know organic mattresses existed. My husband and I stopped by and we were welcomed by Lily. She helped us narrow our choices based on the type of feel we like in a mattress and chose the EOS pillow top mattress. She helped us configure our mattress to where my husband got the soft side he wanted and I was able to get the much firmer option. I honestly expected us to be there for more then an hour, but the process was made so easy we were there for a little less than that. I truly appreciate the time that was taken to explain the products but also the time that was taken for us to find the perfect feel both for my husband and myself. I will be returning to buy mattresses for my children, knowing how great Of mattresses they sell.

The first purchase of an organic mattress I had made. It was the Verse model. I didn’t plan to buy a mattress initially, just wanted to see and feel one that would fit my very picky need. I have a herniated disk, a pain in the back. I need a good, firm mattress that gives support while at the same time provides comfort and contour. I have had three mattresses (stuffed with foams) from well-known brand names in the country and all sagged and my back sank. Lily led me to the Verse model as that was the firmest model on the floor. This model was intended to be firm in order to help kids grow stronger bones. Well, the Verse mattress is not just for kids. It is for adults like me too! I tried three others but the Verse was the firmest and it didn’t take me long to decide. I bought the queen size plus a waterproof mattress protector made from sugar cane fibers and cotton, a shredded latex pillow, and a waterproof pillow case. I love the natural smell of the cotton! The fabric materials are of excellent qualities. Lily was wonderful, patient and very informative. She was the one who mentioned the Verse model after I told her I was looking for a firm mattress. Both of them, Brian and Lily were very cordial and helpful. Excellent customer’s service! Thank you Naturepedic.

Due to time constraints, I had to go to the store with my two young children (which is never easy!). Brian made the process extremely easy and we were in an out within 20 minutes and I was thrilled with my purchase. Not only is the mattress fabulous, but I was able to finally find waterproof mattress covers that are organic and do not reek of chemicals. Brian gave us the best customer service ever! My experience in the store was excellent - hes knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, and the opposite of any mattress salesman Ive ever dealt with. There was a glitch with the delivery - driver left the mattresses covered in grimy, oily wrapping. I called Brian and he came to our house that evening, and not only unwrapped the mattresses and carried them to the bedroom with my husband, he also took the dirty material away. He is an outstanding representative of a company we believe in.

Originally I was planning to order a mattress online, but had some free time so stopped by this location, and Im very glad I did. Staff was extremely knowledgable, and I ended up buying a different mattress (less expensive!) than the one Id picked out on the general website. Product itself is great. My kids had the Naturepedic crib mattress, and happy that the kids mattresses are just as high quality and comfortable. Very nice to have the option of seeing the product in person before buying. Also note: there are many more options in this store, with lower prices, than what you find at other stores (like Pottery Barn Kids) that stock this product. Overall, very happy with the experience!

After months of researching mattresses for our new home, I was extremely happy to see that Naturepedic was nearby and couldnt wait to finally try out the EOS mattresses. My wife and I finally had a free weekend to go to the store and was excited to finally order our new mattress. Unfortunately, the whole experience was extremely uncomfortable and it seemed like we were being a huge burden for them by being in the empty store. I dont care how great their mattresses may be, theres no substitute for decent customer service. Maybe hes having a bad day? In either case, this experience completely turned me off from the company. I guess its off to Cozy Pure we go.
