Great store with a great range of high quality products and amazingly professional staff. I went this morning to check some massage chairs. They have a great selection of products, but something critical that you won’t get online is their courteous, knowledgeable and professional customer care. A good selection of high quality furniture to try out and they have friendly and knowledgeably staff that helped me and my wife both find a good office chair. They were great working with us getting the chairs we wanted ordered and delivered to our home back in PA. Would definitely recommend coming here. If nothing else try out the massage chairs!
I went here twice while looking to upgrade my home office chair. The first time was just to see what was out there and try out my options. Second time was going back to confirm the chair I liked the most and purchase. Both times I interacted with very knowledgeable and helpful staff who patiently answered my questions and helped me try out and compare several options. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to upgrade their home office chair.
Excellent customer service. I worked with Marvin and he was great. I bought a chair. Marvin took his time explaining the features of each chair and also checked whether I was aligned and in good posture. I probably tried out 16 chairs, but he was very patient. I ended up finding two chairs that made my neck happy, and decided to next purchase a pillow. Again, he was very patient and took his time selecting pillows and checking whether the products kept me in good posture. I am real happy with my purchase and that Marvin was able to help me find a chair that doesnt aggravate my neck.
This store truly has the best customer service and is willing to work with you. We wanted to buy a zero gravity massage chair and given that this was a large purchase, we wanted it to be perfect. The store manager, Peggy, was incredibly patient and helpful in making recommendations. She gave us pros and cons of each chair on the floor, allowed for us to sample each one, and worked within our budget. We are so grateful for her attentiveness during the purchasing process as well as the store’s responsiveness in follow-up communications regarding when the chair would arrive. In terms of the delivery, the company employees were timely, respectful, and friendly. We had a wonderful experience buying this massage chair and want to thank everyone at the Healthy Back Store in Rockville. This is a place that always puts the customer’s satisfaction first and I would recommend it to anyone.
Good place to buy a foam mattress bed
The Healthy Back Store in Rockville, MD is in no doubt a very good solutions approach retailer of products that can add to one’s quality of life. I can attest to this given that I’ve purchased several items from them in the past which have recently added to my quality of life. One item in particular is their Perfect Chair which is very comforting and has gotten me through several surgery recoveries (back, shoulder) because this recliner is so easy to nap and sleep on overnight!!I have life time chronic issues so making the right product selections comes at a premium. Peggy, Alex and others at Healthy Back have worked with me in selecting the right items based on a best solutions approach which has made a BIG difference! Healthy Back’s return policy also provides me a very good piece of mind within this context.I’ll definitely continue to come back to The Healthy Back Store in the future.

I bought a chair from them a while back. It came with a defect which I called the manufacturer about. They said that it has to go through the store, so I emailed the store. 6 or so months later, still nothing. I would recommend buying directly from the manufacturer because youll get no support from here.

Stopped in here about a year or so ago. It was quite a drive but this place had two different chairs in stock with a high price tag I was interested in. I tried both chairs and the salesmen spent a decent amount of time with me, I appreciated that.I was well read on the policys from the manufacturer and deals gong on. I was told some misleading information, not sure if it was intentional or not, but I knew better.I decided when I made the long drive home Id purchase the chair here. A salesmen (one I hadnt worked with) answered. Told him I wanted to order the chair. He told me he was busy, call back later. So I ordered the chair direct from the factory instead. Chair is awesome! my back has never been better. Despite the store loosing the sale, I felt it was fair to provide stars based on inventory and the salesmen I worked with, both pretty helpful.
Dropped by the store to see what they had on offer for office chairs after I couldn’t find anything that fit me at IKEA, Marvin was super friendly and patiently walked me though the x-series, Herman Miller Aeron, embody, leap, and gesture. Didn’t end up buying anything, but I appreciated the time he took!
I was most impressed with this store and the customer service that I received. Peggy was extremely accommodating and helpful besides being knowledgeable. There was no “hard selling” just a lot of support.
I have been a loyal customer of the Healthy Back Stores Rockville location for more than a decade. I have bought just about everything Ive needed for my bad back from this store - desk chairs, mattress, recliner, inversion table, various exercise gadgets, etc. What really makes this store stand out, though, is Peggy. Shes by far the friendliest and most knowledgable person Ive encountered in all my years shopping for back-friendly products. Shes been there since I first found this store more than 10 years ago - she knows the products inside and out and has never steered me wrong when Ive been trying to decide between multiple products.

Adjustable bed stopped adjusting. Many phone calls later I learned from Healthybackstore.com, not the people I talked to at the Rockville, MD store, where I bought the bed, that I had to call the maker of the remote, Leggett & Platt to arrange for a technician to come to the house. Dont know why Miss Peggy at the store couldnt have told me that rather than not returning calls.Very frustrating and time consuming.
Marvin definitely knew what he was talking about and helped me find the right slip cover for my temperpudic bed. Highly recommend this store.

Excellent customer service on various products and knowledge given on operation of the equipment which I was encouraged to experience. The sales rep offered lots of options and was not pushy. I was very impressed with the quality of the merchandise and range of prices. Now Im driving everyday with a very comfortable lumbar pillow that was well worth the investment!

Kordor was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our many questions and helped us select the perfect mattress and adjustable base. We ran into a small delay with delivery and I am afraid I wasnt very friendly. Peggy was kind and patient with me, even when I was being difficult and resolved my issue right away. I am beyond impressed by the customer service that we received here.

I cant heap enough praise on the manager of the Rockville Healthy Back Store. She is kind, competent, and all about providing top-rate service to her customers. My husband and I purchased an Aeron chair in early November. When we called to check on delivery and the manager realized there would be a delay, she immediately asked us if we would like to use her floor sample until our new chair arrived. We immediately said, Yes and she herself delivered the chair to our home. (The chair was too big for our car, and she understood we would not be able to pick it up easily. So, she offered to deliver it, and did so herself!)When the store received our new chair, a Healthy Back Store employee called to let us know when we could pick it up. My husband and I tried to fit the floor sample chair into our car. When we failed, i called the store to let them know we would need to work out some kind of delivery. The employee said he would call me back on the arrangements. When he called me back he said they would deliver the new chair and pick up the floor sample, and the service would be complimentary. i can only attribute this act of kindness to the wonderful store manage, Peggy Douglas.She really is the best. She made sure we had a chair as soon as possible, even when it required her to make the delivery. Then she made sure we had the new chair we had paid for on a timely and cost-effective basis. She has certainly demonstrated a belief and devotion to awesome customer service. We will be buying any back-related products we need from the store she manages, and i highly endorse not only the products this store sells, but also its exemplary customer service!
The staff at this location are very helpful and dont feel as though they are forcing certain products on you just to turn a profit. Theyre happy to answer any and all questions, as well as offer suggestions to those who may be looking for information or a brand new product.I came into the store looking for a Herman-Miller Embody chair, but the X-Chair X3 quickly caught my eye. I ended up purchasing it a few days later, and the crew was very happy to assist. The first chair I purchased appeared to have a manufacturers defect, and despite a headache during the initial delivery process, the crew was quite helpful in getting my issues resolved, even offering an exchange for a new X-Chair at no additional cost to me. While they do offer haul-away services for your old chair, I wasnt too happy with the cost to do so. Overall, Im quite content with my purchase and business with Healthy Back, and will likely be returning in the future to continue business.
Excellent selection of ergonomic brand name office chairs. Courteous, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Parking kind of stinks, but worth it for the experience.
We purchased some seated support for my husbands severe back pain associated with prolonged driving in his truck. Alexander was quick to point out what he needed and we are happy with the products my husband purchased. Hes placed them in his seat and he says it feels considerably better. Thank you! Im changing my opinion of this place. I called them twice to get some information from them for an insurance claim and they wouldnt answer my question. The information I needed is public information and I easily obtained it by Googling it, but I wanted to extend them the courtesy of requesting it. The two representatives I spoke to told me the manager would call me back. She never did. Similar to other reviews she said she was on the phone or too busy to call. They basically treated me like an ass when I told them that my insurance was going to cover a purchase from their establishment if i could get some information from them, but they blew me off. I guess I have to go to their competitor who gave me this information quickly and after asking only once... over chat. Thanks for the trust.

Just purchased a recliner chair with heat and massage at the end of December. The experience was very positive! Alexander answered almost all my questions (which were many and quite detailed) and the ones he couldnt answer, he told me so (instead of trying to come up with a bogus answer). He was also very patient with my continual moving from chair to chair (more then 8 of them) and back again AND also waiting while I stayed in each chair to see how it effected me over time. My ONLY complaint is Alexander didnt call me the next day. I had decided on a chair with the best fit for me but the element that turned the heat & massage on and off was missing. Alexander was to call me the next day about having fixed the problem. I finally called the day after the next, whereupon he said it was fixed. (I chalked the neglect up to him being too busy on the Saturday before the end of the year.) He was still very patient when I returned to, yet again, move back and forth between my chosen chair a new one that had been brought in.Im going to reserve a 5 star rating until the chair is delivered.

Very good quality merchandise, pricing great, and the staff/manager was fantastic - very helpful, knew his stock really well, gave great suggestions, and helpful deals. I bought a bed here 20 years before, and ill come back (after buying a new bed this week) in another 20 :-)
In October of 2013 we purchased a HB ERGO recliner from the Healthy Back Store in Rockville, Md.We paid over $800. for the chair. The chair is currently falling apart. We contacted the store and they were of no help whatsoever, they told us the chair was discontinued but we were welcome to come into the store to purchase a new chair from their current selection.My husband and I live alone in our home, we have no children or pets in our home and the chair was in no way a daily used item.I am very disappointed that the store does not stand behind the products they sell.

On 4th of July I came out to my car and noticed a flyer on my windsheild that was stuck and wouldnt come off. Why whoever put it on when it was pouring out, I have no clue. I tried to get the flyer off and it messed up my windshield. I recently purchased a new windshield for my car, 2 days prior to this incident. I called the store to let them know and he said the manager would get right back to me. A few hours later, I called back asking for the manager and she answered but said she was too busy to give me a call and that she would look up ways to remover the flyer and give me a call back. I dont understand that, because I could have just googled that myself. She never bothered to call me back on how to fix it. I was really disappotined in the lack of communication and care that as a potential customer who had a problem, I was ignored.
Helpful employees but an expensive store.
