Great place to shop I was looking that day for turkey breast or legs or a small turkey couldnt find it anywhere else but here they had turkey legs which was perfect for my turkey pot pies. Steve who is the manager there is a great guy hes helped me out many times in the past while I was making my jellies. I dont shop the store all the time but I do recommend it great prices they have pretty much everything you would need.

I usually shop at grocery outlet and safeway, but decided to come here because I was in the neighborhood. I was able to get about 2/3 of my normal shopping list done here. The prices were comparable. I had expected them to be a little cheaper, but with the sales that I get at Safeway my bill is usually cheaper there. I dont anticipate coming back often but if I were in the neighborhood I would certainly stop in. They had a very nice selection of produce and everything looked fresh. As a vegetarian I was a little disappointed in the frozen section, and I didnt find any alternative milks. The staff were pleasant. They did have Christian music radio playing on the loudspeaker, so that was a little unexpected. All in all, it was okay.

I only make it up there to FOOD MAX once a month. There was a hustling young man who was gathered and disinfected the shopping carts. The FRUITS and VEGETABLES were bursting with color, especially their BANANAS, they had that green hue near the bottom, so you know theyre good to go. A RESTROOM for the customers, plenty of parking, a FRIENDLY STAFF, and lots of great groceries. Maybe I didnt see all of them, But it seems that MAXX should add more types of JUNK FOODS. As usual Ill be back next month.ADIOS.

6.23.21We left San Fransisco this morning and we are going to stop at Shrine Drive Thru tree attraction, on the Avenue of The Giants. This is our first time coming up to Northern California and the Redwoods.We just filled up gas at the Costco on Redwoid Dr., just a few seconds away from Foodmaxx, and we needed some water and additional snacks to tie us over until we get to Klamath to spend the night. I have a Costco card, but I can only use it for gas, cuz its my moms card. I also have a Sams card, but theres no Sams in Rohnrt Park. It wasnt busy and the staff was very nice. They had what we were looking for, so our travel needs were met. Store is clean. Produce section is large.

Incident DetailsDate: Friday, 04June2021Time: 1:30pmLocation: 605 Rohnert Park Expressway, Rohnert Park, CA 94928 (Store #468)Our family was shopping this afternoon at the FoodMaxx Store #468 in Rohnert park, CA.There was a gentleman there who had reached the self-checkout kiosk, but who had apparently been covering his face with his T-shirt while in the store. Once he realized that it would be difficult to check out his grocery items with only one hand, he looked behind him toward one of the checkers (female, white, early 20s, glasses) and stated that he did not have a mask but wanted to finish checking out his items. Surprisingly, the young ladys reply was no. The gentleman was told that since he did not have a mask he was not permitted to purchase any items. He then asked if he could purchase a mask from the store, the young ladys snide reply was we dont sell masks here.At this point my family was leaving out the front doors and we noticed the gentleman go outside and purchase a mask from an elderly lady in the parking lot who was kind enough to provide him with one.The gentleman came back into the store with the mask on and after a few moments came back out. To our surprise, he stated they wouldnt let me finish buying my stuff! She kept pulling the cart back!We were completely blown away. My family had witnessed someone needing to purchase food and was denied the ability to do so. I have personally seen people with silk scarves, bandana masks, creatively using sweatshirts AND t-shirts to cover their faces! Not one of them had been denied the ability to buy food from FoodMaxx.We do not know the exchange that occurred after the gentleman had re-entered the store and we understand that many possible things could have been said during those moments, but to be denied the ability to purchase ones groceries while at the self-checkout kiosk is reprehensible and vile - ESPECIALLY when the gentleman had corrected his infraction and STILL was told No, you may not purchase these groceries.Bottom line, if not having a mask on inside us truly such a big deal, big enough to deny someone the ability to buy their food, then you should post someone at the front door:1. Taking temps for every person entering2. Ensuring they have a mask that has been approved by FoodMaxx/Save Mart Policies3. Have back-up masks to give to anyone who doesnt have one4. Be ready to help customers solve a problem (they WILL occur) and aim to ensure they are able to leave with purchased goods.Since Foodmaxx is owned by Save Mart, my family and I will never shop at Foodmaxx, Save Mart or any subsidiary/associated companies ever again.

Only 1 cashier, had to wait a bit.l Lots of fresh produce. Prices were pretty good too. Went there to buy chicken wings, and they had none. Oh well.

Not that much cheaper that a lot of stores. But then again most of the stores are owned by the same conglomerate.

I love every employee here. Need more though and I wish it was still open 24 /7 again

Im happy and pleased with the store in Rohnert Park. It is clean, organized and have had good experiences since I have begun to use it because of the close location. The staff know their products and have been very helpful when asked a question.

FoodMaxx in Rohnert Park is WAY better than the one in Santa Rosa! The Santa Rosa store is a ridiculous joke of a store! Rohnert Park is usually in & out w/o the big long lines. Theyve got a pretty good self checkout set up there too.

I had problems with the self check out and there wasnt any cashiers around to assist me kind crumie customer service

Self checkouts failed and after calling for help couldnt get anyone to help for 10 minutes -1point. Couldnt sign up for rewards card in store like Safeway or CVS would and had to pay full price -1. got to register and was told they cant bag groceries at full service register -1. Avoid unless your so poor you cant go to Walmart neighborhood.

No frills just savings on your food purchases.That about sums it up. If your bulking up the pantry and fridge and want to save cash then shop here! 🤠

Service was good and staff is very friendly. Only issue I saw was who ever was moving pallets did not lower pallet jack. That is a huge safety issue.

The cashier didnt seem like she was enjoying her job. I was purchasing different items from my partner. We paid separate and aperantly I needed ID for something I wasnt paying for.

They do have a lot of different foods and other things: beer, liquor, toiletries and soaps.

Team memve Calista and her manager (woman, glasses, was MOD 11/17 22:39) were HORRIBLE. Calista was ringing up another food Maxx employee ahead of me. She continued her conversation when it was my turn to check out and it took me asking for bags three times before she even heard me. She threw all of my products while ringing them up. I was busy bagging my items when the manager came over and asked if I would pay because there was a line and Calista was the only cashier. Oh so let me get this straight, Calista could take her time assisting me because she was busy with a co-worker but I cant take a second to bag my items when it was delayed because I couldnt get my cashiers attention. I will NEVER return to this store due to the absolutely HORRIBLE customer service from every staff member I interacted with. Thank you Calista and your manager for being A+ employees!

Carts are all janky, refrigerators were luke WARM, several packs of GREY ground beef in warm fridge, crazy lines. That was a rough shopping experience. Just, whoa.

I just got out of the store. I am not sure I will.go back usually have a good experience but I was in self checkout and needed 3 bags so o asked the lady watching over self check she said they would be 10 cents I tried to explain to her that I have ebt and they are supposed to be fee she got very rude and said that not here and asked if I wanted the or not I need to put my groceries somewhere so I had to buy them. I work at a grocery store so I know you and not supposed to charge so I am pretty upset that I had to buy the bag and the way this lady treated me . In a time like this when you cant bring your own bags in most store are not even charging at all.

Great prices on many items, easy to find stuff, they have more items than other stores. There are items - brands - i like that I can only find there. Produce ok. Prefer Produce at raleys and Olivers but they have a wide variety and good prices for produce.

I have grown to love this store. There is such a great selection of items stocked at all times. I love the expansive produce section. Everything is always fresh, and there is plenty to choose from. I would and do recommend this store to anyone who would like to shop and get a lot of bang for their bucks. Awesome!

Thanks for your response, honestly I like shopping at this store, but the quality of the fresh produce changed compared to the first Time I walked in the week before Thanksgiving. I asked few others to come and shop from your store from Petaluma and they all loved your stores variety of products and great prices. But in my few recent visits I noticed the rotten veggie around the others cause the rest to go bad sooner. But it can be due to winter season too. I shop a lot of veggies and I think there is a room for improvement and its easy to say than to actually done. still I like your store. And staff are friendly.

Food is inexpensive but many of clientele were not wearing face masks Ill go back when there is a vaccine.

My food shopping at Food Max is always good...great PRICES and quality products.

This store is well stocked and has great prices. It is wonderful if you need to meal prep or buy items for kids school lunches. You always find something you could use even if you didnt intend to buy it for a low price. I know for a fact that the items i purchase at my regular grocery store are always lower in price at Food Maxx. The $100 i spend at food maxx is better than the $160 it would be at my usual store. Sometimes i get more of the product!

We walked in and we had to leave because there was too many people in there and there were not a lot of people. I called asked what time they were open til and 12:00. So I remember this and never shop there again.

Great prices, even beef steaks at $3.99 pound which in Pandemic mode is a steal. Very good and diverse veggie section.

The produce area has been redesigned. Very clean. Good fruits and vegetables. Also have plastic bags that are already open so it is easy to pack your produce.

If youre going to do any grocery shopping here at Rohnert Park foodmaxx, your best bet is during the week when shopping carts are available. On the weekends shopping carts arent readily available so Good Luck! You usually have to venture out to the parking lot to retrieve a shopping cart.

Great prices. Huge produce department. Only complaint is the older blonde woman who seems to be a manager of some sort. She could definitely be more friendly. Ive never felt like I was such a pain in the ass in my life as I did while getting rung up by her.

They really must add more cashiers. The self checkout is not as blatantly obvious to use as people think they are. It took me over 10 minutes to finally figure out that I was not the problem but that the system for ATM was down! A human cashier would have known long before I figured it out.

They have really low prices but the quality of the product could be a little better. Also maybe not having the employees play hella loud music on there Bluetooth speakers, while the other employees had a in depth conversation at the checkout. with only one checkout lane open and a line a mile long.

Way to dirty. The produce you must est with in a day of purchase. Staff is definitely overwhelmed.

Aisles are not arranged in a logical way. Many of the food items were well passed the expiration date. Extremely filthy.

Dirty and nasty. With the covid19 thing going on their shopping carts were sticky and gross. I couldnt find anything to clean it with either. This store should be shut down if they cant keep it clean.
