Our salesman from Gillman Jeep highly recommend Nick from Discount Hitch to get out Jeep ready to be flat towed with our motorhome and to put a receiver on the back for trailer towing with the Jeep. Chris the technician was excellent and highly professional. He took the necessary time and did an excellent job. The look on the front tow bar is almost unseen and precious! He even made sure the factory splash guard was not impaired and we cant even see where it was made to fit from the original factory. Nick was very professional in the sales side and was extremely helpful to our needs for setting up our brand new Jeep for towing from both ends! They are a very clean and an organized store, with lots of new remodeling and the store looks awesome and inviting to stop and shop!! The shop is clean, and we had no issues in the whole process!! Originally I called the Houston branch & was told that they had the Hitch in stock & I could come by whenever I was ready & get it installed. I showed up & waited in line packed full of customers that took 40 minutes before I was spoken too. BTW: that line consisted of only TWO “2” people…..I finally speak to the Clerk that I spoke with on the phone, seemed confused & preoccupied. As a result he actually didn’t have the hitch he stayed he did. Gave me a price that was $100+ more than the 1st Hitch..So I drove to Rosenberg & this shop was a 180° from the Houston shop! From the time I pulled up into The driveway to the time I left with a new hitch was about 20 minutes!!! INCREDIBLE!!! This team was on top of their game. These guys know their hitches. The RV dealership I was working with quoted $3700 on a fifth wheel hitch install. Discount had a better hitch, installed for $1600 plus taxes. Cant go wrong with them. Theyve done work for me in the past and they will in the future.

I was looking for some lights to help me see better at night while driving around my property. I did some shopping around to compare prices on a grille guard for my truck. Discount had the best price compared to others in the area. I ordered what I wanted over the phone and it took them a day to get it. I went in first thing in the morning to have it installed. I was in at 8am and out at 9am. The grille guard looks great. I also bought some WeatherTech floor liners and their price was even lower than Amazons! Over all I was very pleased with the employees and workmanship. It pays to compare shops when it comes to accessories for your truck or car.

WOW!!! What a great experience. I bought a 4-bike carrier since the family is all riding bikes now with the virus. Problem is that my wifes SUV didnt have a hitch. I called and asked about putting a hitch on my wifes QX50 so that we could all go places to ride together as a family. Nick answered and wow what a professional person. He got my information and said he would have to find one and would call me back. I figured it would be the next day or so. He called back in 5 minutes and gave me a price that was lower than I expected. When I arrived they again said it would be about 45min-1hr. While I was waiting, they have a nice waiting room by the way, I heard the professionalism exhibited by their staff on client after client. Then 30 min later they said it was ready. Their manager (also a sales associate ) lost a customer for life for this business, go to All-Out, youll get better service....LOL at the response from the owner, nice try but get the facts straight. I worked with your employee, I answered all the questions to my best ability. I had called the day before and lined everything up. I entered your store, walked up to the desk at which point was greeted by another employee, not the one that was about to help me. At some point afterward it was YOUR employee that was assisting me who started being rude and started getting angry, then YOUR employee lost his temper and started yelling and even threw his pen on the desk in front of me as I was trying to answer his questions. Maybe some questions I didn’t know the answer to cuz I’m a chick and just don’t know technicals on a truck. Easy fix, maybe you guys need to try a different approach with people who don’t know the answers, be patient and explain instead of getting rude, frustrated and angry esp in front of the customer and especially throwing things. AND since you knew this guy was having a bad day (or week like you said) you should’ve sent him home because that’s not the customers fault. Absolutely Crazy.***** I went down the street to All Out, and made my $$$ purchase, they were patient and explained everything to me, with absolutely no problems = happy camper. *****I was purchasing a hidden hitch (with installation) along with the purchase of a fifth wheel adapter. I have no idea what the employees deal was and why he got so upset and lashed out like he did - but he absolutely exploded and started yelling directly at me. The owners son tried to be apologetic and said that the employee was having a bad day (week) and that it was totally unacceptable on their part on what happened. I get it but the damage was already done. Super bad experience with the company that I will gladly share with others. I took my $$$ elsewhere and glad I did.

I called and told the associate who answered the phone that I was on the way to pick up my horse at Waller Equine Hospital and realized that my trailer lights stopped working and that this was an emergency. I CANNOT EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE ENOUGH FOR THIS SHOP!!!I was in texas to move a family member out of a physically abusive home. We had a blown fuse, bad rear wiring harness, and a loose relay. We came in, explained our situation, and the lead guy in the front came to our aid. They looked at our system, then replaced the bad wiring hookup / harness, blown fuse, EVERYTHING. All of it for $25. They allowed us to get our trailer hooked up again so that we could get back on the road.Id give them 6 stars, but obviously google doesnt appreciate enthusiasm.Thank you DHTA!!!!!Sincerely and Thankfully.~This Guy.

I decided to stop by Discount Hitch to get my trailer looked at for some wiring issues and Michael came out to look at it. Apparently I had a quick fix that took no more than 2 minutes and he took care of it at NO CHARGE! I could not believe it!!! I even tried to tip him but he refused to take it. Well because of the excellent customer service I will be a Life Long Customer. I came in with my work/ranch truck but will be back with my shiny new truck to get completely loaded and decked out by the guys at Discount Hitch!

So I walked in one day-to browse around I seen in the corner they had Interstate Batteries on sale it said 50% off. Oh well thats a good deal so walk to the counter I asked the gentleman how much the battery was he said $310 . So I pulled out my money assuming it be about half price. He said No its 310, So then I asked him well what is the full price ? This guy told me 600 plus Are you guys crazy this is a $200 battery some retailers sell it for a little more. As I walked out the manager walked over and took the Sign down . That is totally and completely crooked. I warn everyone that shops here to check your prices before purchasing dont be that gather just pays what are they ask I be willing to bet this is not the only item in the stores its way overpriced. Went to Discount Hitch Truck Accessories Saturday looking for a fuel transfer tank/toolbox combination, I had a nice weather guard which I loved but was to big and couldn’t see the fifth wheel ball from the back up camera. I talked with a salesman about what I was looking for and he came up with a 60 gal transfer tank that he was sure would have no problems with the cameras view. My wife went and had it installed for me today while I was a work ( I told my wife the conversation between Nick and I about the importance of being able to see the camera for the fifth wheel but should be no problem because Nick was going to test fit it and make sure) this is where the problem all starts he tells my wife that all sells are final and that he told me this serval times at the sell of the tank for $1124.00 dollars which not once did that come out of the mans mouth but gotta say it’s all over the receipt my bust on that didn’t pay much attention to that when he handed it to me. It only gets better from here I get a call at work saying you can’t see the fifth wheel hitch from the camera that they sell some item that you can stick over the ball and when the trailer hits it your close ( why do I have a camera ) not to mention all sells are final so I’m getting over my anger issues and am trying to find a positive in this whole situation. I get home and the tank looks really poor in quality it’s nothing like a weather guard just saying but still looking for that positive so I ask my wife if she would like to go to shell so we could fill the tank and we did at the gas station after putting 100 dollars of diesel in it I had fuel going all over the ground luckily it had a cutoff valve. Came to this place before and bought some locks for my trailer best price in town by far. then I came back a couple months later to look at some rims and tires and a grill for my truck. I noticed the optima yellow top batteries all were 40 percent off. I said a wow . Those things are normally 200 plus so I went to the desk and ask the gentleman how much the yellow top battery would be with a 40 percent discount she proceeded to tell me $280. then when I reminded him that yellow top batteries are around $200 to start with how does that work with a 40 dollar discount. I cant believe you blatantly lied to my face and tried to swindle me out of money just because I look like I wasnt a detailed consumer. I would definitely say beware for future enquiries. looks like place is pretty cool and has some nice products but I dont think that these guys are competitive with their prices at all I think they will take any chance to swindle you. I figured Id give everybody a heads up I definitely look at Google star rating before I go anywhere. Have a good one hope this helps

Discount Hitch in Rosenberg tried to sell me two front Ranch Hand Bumpers that were damaged then got extremely irate when I would not take them. I made two trips up there with a ride standing by each time. I total waste of my time. NO matter who you are or what business you are in you never curse a customer and get irate for not taking damaged equipment as new. They also scratched on back bumper on my 2017 F-350 while installing a gooseneck hitch a couple of months and then tried to deny it. I will never do business with Discount Hitch again.
