We are so happy we found this place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. No one is trying to up-sale anything (which is our experience from other places). Special shout out goes to Edgar. Not only was he very helpful finding frames that we liked, he put all effort in to the experience with his time also with a spark in his eyes and a joke to make us laugh. We love our glasses. Thank you !

Incredibly friendly staff! Took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us. Very respectful and kind. Excellent with children. The technician after the eye exam was absolutely wonderful! I wish I knew his name.

* CAUTION*Not contempt with Customers Satisfaction or Care.Rude Rose Has a issue with Customers that has Medical Insurance.Rushes Patients to quickly Make payment for their supplies or Service with, little patients For Customers to make an affirmed Decision on care. called this place to update my Contact lenss.They were unsuccessful for 4days, I received no call in return. very Inconsiderate of the safety of their patients. I will be making a complaint with OSHA. negligence thats being presented to customers. that need care leaving them outside not helping the underserved Communitys instead we suffer while other Comunities get the needed attention or help.

Don’t normally give reviews but I’ve never waited so long for a pair of sunglasses.It’s been a month and I called today and they said another week and a half!Spoke to Rosa, very nice and waived the remaining balance on the sunglasses. Sunglasses should be here in a few days. Thanks Rosa.

I had a great experience. I had made an appointment for myself to get frames and decided to wait until I checked out the location before scheduling my son. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped me picked out frames that were completely covered by my insurance and looked very nice with the shape of my face. I mentioned scheduling an appointment for my son for the following week and she told me since he was there with me they could help him with his frames now and save me an extra trip! Both our frames and prescriptions were completely covered and the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend eye designs in Roseville!

I’ve been here two times now and to be fair the first visit was great customer service. They worked with me bla bla bla, four or five stars for that visit. The most recent time everyone was still nice enough (why I gave 2 stars instead of 1) but goodness are they a mess organizationally.First of all, I have never had an eye doctor not discuss with me what type of contacts I wanted, and I didn’t even know when to bring it up as he didn’t ask, I just was given samples having no idea what they were but assuming they were comparable to my previous brand, came back to finalize the prescription and found out they cost double of the brand they prescribed in my previous visit.Second, in between I went to Costco and wore the Kirkland contacts. I put this in my paperwork and told them multiple times throughout my visit, somehow it still hasn’t made it into my chart. This normally wouldn’t be a big deal except that I am trying to get my prescription changed back to Kirkland from the “screw over the young customer who’s probably clueless” brand and it’s been an absurd process. The Costco optometry department told me I could call and have my prescription changed and sent over while I was standing there since I’ve worn their contacts before. Eyedesigns optometry told me no they need someone to sign off on and they’ll email it to me when it’s approved. I thought it would be a couple hours at most but no: it’s been over a week and when I called to check two days ago it was still “under review.” Seriously, how long does it take to sign a paper saying I can wear the same contacts I’ve been wearing everyday for the past year and a half?? Logically, I can assume that I wouldn’t be as but of an issue if someone would’ve put in my file that I was wearing them before one of the 6 times I told someone, or if they bothered to look at my paperwork, but after everything I’m starting to seriously doubt that would’ve made a difference.Third, since glasses are covered I ordered my glasses while I was in my initial appointment and was told it would be 2-3 weeks before they came in. A month later I called only to find out that they are back ordered 2 months. Because of all of this, I am currently stuck wearing the last glasses I was able to get covered by insurance years ago which are almost half my current prescription, unable to get contacts that I CAN see in unless I was to pay an arm and a leg because I can’t get the prescription changed, and unable to get ahold of anyone who is willing to get anything done about it with some semblance of efficiency.

Best Optometry here. I went in around 6 times with my annoying self because I couldn’t take care of my lenses, they would pop off from the string it was attached to and every time, the employees didn’t waiver. They took in my glasses and fixed them without hesitation. I thought that was really awesome of them. They are the doctor to my glasses

The eye doctor herself was great. The reason I give them only two stars is because the person that sold me my glasses told me they would be ready the same week as my appointment for pickup. Here we are the following Monday, still no glasses, Lab is closed today and nobody can give me the status of when they will be ready. If I would have known it would take longer than what they told me, I would have taken my prescription elsewhere.

My wife and I took our Granddaughter in for new glasses after they were broken after an amazing gymnastics move, knee to forehead broke the pair she was wearing. Edgar, served us. He was patient, friendly, funny, caring and took the time to carefully explain the best glasses, fit and lens for her situation. He helped her understand why she was better off with the less expensive pair. She was so happy with the end results and can’t say enough about him. Thanks Edgar.....

Not sure why people are complaining about this place...I have been with them since 2012...I found nothing bad or unacceptable. It is just a normal business. The doctor is pretty nice and all the staff there seems to me very friendly. They give you free pair of contacts if you are running short...no charge...they fix my glasses at no charge...and anytime I drop in the store...what else I should expect from a eye doc office? I think they did everything on the list :)

Edgar at Eye Designs in the Galleria Mall is the BEST! I walk in to check out new lenses and walk out with a new pair. Edgar reached out to me and helped me find a stylish frame that complimented both the color of my skin and the shape of my face. I learned so much from that guy. I would never go there AGAIN. They use to be OK but NOW this year 2019 my son was going to get glasses, he has very good insurance, by the time to order them he was going to pay out of his pocket 600 dollars. Than my daughter had BIG ISSUES too. Than a friend of mind, her child was getting glasses for free with her insurance but they told the mom, give her some solution for her eyes, that will cost 500 dollars. They seem just trying to put whatever they can to get as much CASH out of you. We just now go to another eye Dr. Which the NEW eye Dr place is so much better. To me its all about MONEY, squeeze as much as they can out of you. Plus like the other reviews had said they are very rude plus the manager rose. I would of gave it 0 stars but had to put 1 star to put my review.

I went in at 1205 pm for a 1215 pm appointment. The first part of the exam was fine. However, the next part was a whole sales pitch on why I should pay 350 dollars out of pocket to get some mircobacteria or something cleaned out of my eyelashes because it is a major issue. However, during this whole process, there was obviously a scripted pitch to try and get me to buy this cleaning package.I declined and then was told I needed to get my dry eyes fixed. I told her my eyes were never itchy and never swollen and that I never have an issue with that. I felt like I was at the mall getting pestered by someone trying to sell me a curling iron instead of at an optometrist office. My thing is, if I really had a serious eye condition and they are good with me saying no thank and declining, than the issue isnt really an issue at all.On top of all this, I had my eyes dilated. After having them dilated, I waited thirty minutes while the staff was chatting it up with each other and shooting the breeze with each other. I mentioned twice that I needed to get back to work and then was finally hurried into the exam room again. I then heard the staff talking about me through the door and how I was not being patient. Took over an hour for all this.Overall a horrible experience. No organization, constantly being up sold. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place altogether.

I’m very disappointed with them. They always order food for their employees but they don’t tip the driver. I don’t know if they know that we get paid by tips through DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub or any other food deliveries. It’s so hard to find parking at that mall, and we have to carry their food through the mall. If they make enough money to buy food for their employees, why not tip the drivers. Gas isn’t cheap but the eye doctor is. He should get the food and see how hard it is for us. 😡😡

Horrible service, the doctor was good although would still never recommend anyone buying glasses from here. The first pare of glasses I got broke within the first month. When I brought them in they tried fixing them with scotch tape....Then when I tried ordering a new pair, they couldnt get me the same pair. I then had to order a total sepperate pair, so I asked to put a rush on the order. Nope, still havent seen my glasses and now I wont have them over the holidays. None of this would be a big deal if they were just more respectful...

I would not recommend going here. There was not enough staff to assist customers so I sat around waiting unnecessarily. I was also told if I did not like the transitionals I could have them replaced. I called and was told they couldnt do anything about it. Save yourself some money and go to Costco. They will do an eye and contact exam together for one charge unlike Eye Designs.

Terrible service. I had stopped into this store to pick up new frames the week of Thanksgiving. I was originally told that it would only take 1 week to fill the prescription and that I would have my new frames by the beginning of Dec. Well December comes around and no frames. I call the store to inquire about my frames and I am told that it will be another week as the signature lenses that they carry were on back order. I was told another week at the latest and that someone will contact me to let me know when I can pick up my frames. Well another week goes by still no frames and no word from Eye Designs. I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another week. Still no frames. It has been over a month since placing my order and Im thinking its about time to file a complaint with the BBB. Save yourself the time and headache and find another shop. They will never have my business again.

Theyve always been quick, poite, super helpfull, and worked with me to help me get the most i could for what my insurance would cover. They actually worked for an extra hour with me to help me find the right pair of glasses to help me NOT pay out of pocket.Awesome place! Friendly staff.

Went in dec 31 2017 ordered glasses with glare resistant paid $85 extra I sent in my original frame they broke my pair. They tried to replace them with similar ones very cheap material I receive them the lenses pop right off the frame very weak material and to finish it off they were scratched on the lense. They ordered a new pair and tell me every time I call to check in if they have came in and I have yet to receive a phone call from them. It’s now been 1 month and 5 days and still no glasses. No one go here worst place ever. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
