Ive been to the Roseville location on 3 separate occasions, the 1st I had an appointment with my 2 kids everything went smoothe they were seen right away, the 2nd visit I had a wait time of 40 minutes after my appointment start time since I was there 15 min prior it was a total of 55 min before I was seen. Working in health care myself I figured its ok theyre busy. My 3rd visit was the exact same I was there for an HR after the start of my appointment time before being seen again I know it gets busy but today was why I will no longer be going back to the Roseville location. I had picked up my prescription and requested my contact prescription since I had been given a trial pair of contacts I was given a prescription for my glasses and while I understand the misunderstanding I called the office and requested to have a script emailed to me, they stated it was fine and I would have it in 10-15 min I called 40 min later because I wanted to give them enough time and I mentioned that I was at the store attempting to purchase my contacts and they again stated they would send it right over. No script was sent. I will be going elsewhere for my vision care.

Ive been with Griffin & Reed for 14 years and NEVER have I had such problems with my appointments. Over the past year they have schedued me to the Sacramento office which I have never gone to. Ive showed up on 4 occasions to Roseville only to have them say my apt is in Sac. then they reschedule me again months out in RSVL only to mess it up AGAIN. IM DONE!!!! 14 years and Im switching doctors, Im very disappointed :(

My experience was the staff seemed disorganized and unprofessional. Went somewhere else for my lazik and had a better experience.

My vision without glasses was horrific prior to LASIK eye surgery. It was what they called 3/200 - I could only see clearly at 3 feet what a person with healthy vision could see at 200 ft.! After the surgery I achieved 20/20! And Dr. Kim is one of the kindest souls that walks the Earth. Hes an awesome human being. And Griffin & Reed uses the latest technology to make sure you get crisp vision. Dont be fooled! Overall this is a fantastic group of people that really know what theyre doing. My friend and myself both being nurses, wanted to find the best doctor to do our laser vision correction procedure. Well, We found him! Dr. Reed and his staff are the most professional and personable staff Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. The fees may be a little higher than the average lasik eye mill but we all know the old saying, you get what you pay for. Based on my interaction with Dr.Reed and his staff, I had full confidence to entrust my vision to him.

Just got LASIK done yesterday, and today I can see even better than I did with contacts or glasses. Dr Kim did an amazing job! Best money Ive ever spent!

The staff, I cant say enough how they made me feel so at ease. Dr. Reed, it would be so awesome if all doctors had Dr. Reeds bedside manners! it was by far the best experience. Oh, my vision btw is 20/20 and before i could not even see 3 feet in front of me. Thank you Dr Reed and Staff!!!!

My first visit was for a medical condition and appreciate Dr. Reeds diagnosis, clear description, and referral, along with his warmth and compassion. Update - the office he referred me to treated me so unprofessionally. They never responded to the insurance companys correspondence (even after I emailed them my copy) by saying they couldnt find it. 7 phone calls later and they never acknowledged me. Minus 2 starts because I ccd Griffin & Reed but they didnt contact me.

My initial visit with Dr. Reed was in his Sacramento Clinic and succeeding visits was in Roseville as he was recommended by a good friend of mine. The staffs are all very attentive and knowledgeable.Dr. Reeds LASIK expertise along with his caring attitude was top notch.Highly recommended and best money Ive ever spent!

My wife recently had LASIK at Griffin & Reed. The result was outstanding. The staff was both professional and personable. Dr. Reed was great. He walked us through everything and made sure we were comfortable with our decision. I plan on having the procedure in the future and of course it will be with Dr. Reed. If you need LASIK, give them a try. You want be disappointed.

Dr. Reed is an answer to a different lifestyle. I have been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade and contacts since I was 16. When I had attempted to be rid of glasses 16 years ago and was told that I did not qualify for the procedure. My husband was going to go through the procedure and I was jealous and wished that I qualified for it. When I was taking my husband in for his procedure I was speaking with Dr. Reed briefly and he said, Make an appointment so I did! And O.M.G. I qualified!!!! So then we scheduled all the appointments and said that as of November 30th I could not wear contacts anymore. I was fine with that! So 18 days later on my wedding anniversary my husband took me to the surgery center and I was given the gift of sight! What an awesome gift and opportunity that this has been given to me. There are not words that can describe how I feel about my new eyes and how grateful I am for a husband that offered me this gift of sight with the help of Dr. Reed.

Had LASIK performed by Dr. Reed. I was nervous, but he made it as stress-free as possible. Woke up the next morning and could see! I even went to work, where Im on a computer all day. Im a week out and feeling pretty great, havent had any headaches or discomfort. Excellent experience. :)

After receiving a recommendation from a nurse colleague, I chose Griffin and Reed for my lasik procedure. I WISH I had done this earlier. It has been the best decision!! Dr. Reed and all the people, staff involved were awesome. Everyone was so nice and respectful, and knew their jobs very well. I wish I could name them all..Sabrena was excellent and very patient. :) Having worked with surgeons for 36 years, Dr. Reed was a breath of fresh air. Just a nice man, and an awesome surgeon. Ive been a patient here for two years and both of my experiences were poor. This years was especially bad. Last year the glasses I ordered were the wrong ones and had to be sent back. Not that big of a deal, things happen. This past time, I ordered my frames and it took almost 3 weeks for them to come in despite being told that were 2 day shipped. Then I was notified that they arrived and when I excitedly went to pick them up, I was told that they had to be sent out to have the lenses put in. I still am not quite sure why the lenses were not put in before I was notified they were ready. I had my exam done here as well and they had my rx. So I basically came to look at the glasses because they had the stock frames in. So at least another 2 weeks until my glasses should be ready. But I have no clue what 2 weeks actually means considering 2 days turned into 3 weeks. The staff is not very friendly and if you pass on a certain test or x-ray, their attitude completely changes. Many people have quit in the last few months there from what the woman placing my order told me, and it shows how their business is declining. I have to say the doctor I saw was fine, but the experience as a whole is just complete stress. I have been wearing glasses for 15 years and this is the most ridiculous time consuming experience Ive ever had. I will not be returning next year.

Ive wanted Lasik for more than ten years but was uncomfortable with the idea of surgery, in general, and, specifically, on such a precious part of my anatomy - my eyes! As I got sicker and sicker of my astigmatism and my contacts and my glasses I also talked with more and more satisfied & happy post-Lasik individuals. Griffin & Reed has been around a long time and I could find only great reviews. The initial visit was through and professional and the entire staff impressed me with their bedside manner and their knowledge and their patience with my detailed questions. I waited about another 2 months after my initial visit to schedule my procedure 2 months after that. Though still a little nervous the day of the procedure, it turned out to be a no-brainer. The post-op follow-ups have continued to be excellent and Im happier every day with both my vision and with the fact that I finally cleared my cabinets of all my contact lens supplies! I would recommend Dr. Reed and his staff to anyone.

I have been wearing corrective eye wear since the second grade. My vision was absolutely horrible and I had an astigmatism along with it. I met with Dr. Kim who explained that my vision was too poor for Lasik but he could help me out with PRK. Dr. Kim did an excellent job explaining the entire process to me and pointed out the positives and potential negatives. I had surgery just over one month ago and my vision is fantastic. I have not had any issues with night driving or sensitivity to the sun. My distance vision is very good and my reading ability is improving daily. PRK is much more intensive than Lasik but it is a only a few days of discomfort and some minor pain. I am very glad I did the procedure and would do it again without a doubt. Dr. Kim has an excellent approach to people and answers questions in a thoughtful and unhurried manner. The staff at Griffin & Reed is fantastic and always treat you warmly and with a smile.

Dr. Brent Reed did Mono Lasic surgery 2 weeks ago on me. He was extremely detailed in his evaluation of my eyes. I was really impressed & learned a lot more regarding the lasik. He has done any amazing job on my eyes! Ive been pretty close to blind most of my life & have stigmatiziums in both eyes which back in the day prevented having lasik. His repore with his clients really puts you at ease. I felt confident & rest assured he was the doctor for me. I highly recommend him for lasik & feel I choose the best doctor for the surgery I had hoped to get all my life! Sincerely, Gale A. Perry P.S.
