Not Too Shabby in Roseville is a nice store. Their focus is on the do it yourself kind of an upcycle place. The staff was informative and knowledgeable.
5 huge stars! I love this little studio. They have a wide variety of chalk paint at a great price, and everything you need to get started on your own project. Fantastic customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and they do beautiful work. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
I bought paint for my cabinets. They said the paint did not chip and it did. I also did 5 coats and still didnt cover completely. They insisted on me buying their special brush 30.00 for a brush that I did not like. Same brush was on amazon for 12.00 I ended up buying a 2 dollar brush from home depot that worked great and paint from home depot for only 10 compared to their chalk paint at 40.00. They are way over priced and their product does not deliver what it was intended. Very disappointed on what I spent money wise there just to have to buy more at home depot. Learned my lesson. Do your research first.
These folks are super knowledgeable about Annie Sloane Chalk Paint. They had great tips and could recommend products(like wypalls) that made my projects even more successful. I dont think the negative reviewers really understand Annie Sloane products. Obviously, if are fine with whatever chalk paint they have at home depot, you should go buy that for 1/3 the price.
I discovered Not Too Shabby this week! I am so appreciative of their knowledge, helpfulness, and warmth. They went out of their way to get paint so I can finish my daughters bunk bed this weekend. I wil be recommending them to everyone:-) Their customer service is the best I have experienced in years. Their knowledge about paint and willlingness to teach is very much appreciated. Thank you!
Needed to paint my coffee table black, this place didn’t carry black color, so I was recommended the grey color and black wax, which turned into a disaster, impossible to make it all black with just a thin layer of wax, and it grey spotted black now! Waste of a day of work and $100+. The wax keeps rubbing off with every wipe and touch...
