Rebekah is my esthetician and she is great! She takes the time to explain all of the steps and products that she is going to use and why, this is nice because I know nothing about skincare. When I have questions, she is quick to answer them. Her teacher, Tamara is very personable. She takes the time to talk to all the guests and make sure that her students are taken care of! I will definitely be returning.

I absolutely adore the hair services I get from Cheryl at the Paul Mitchell School in Roswell, GA. Cheryl and the her teachers go above and beyond in making your style come to life! This is my second time booking an appointment and it has been an amazing experience each time. Ive been going to Esani since they opened and have had numerous students. Always a very positive experience. The staff and students are friendly and witnessed Learning Leaders being very encouraging and instructing their students.Most recently, Meg was my hair dresser. She was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and very friendly. I definitely would recommend you call and make an appointment for Meg, as my hair was awesome.Just a bit of advise who patronize the school..... keep in mind that this is a school and future professionals are students. They do an amazing job and their Learning Leaders are only steps away to assist if needed.You may want to do the analysis. Do you want service at a very affordable price, or do you want to go to a salon and pay $$$$$$ for your hair? I personally, choose the school and very glad I have the choice.

I saw Cassie K. for a hot stone back treatment. She walked me through the procedure especially when there was a problem with the steam machine. Her massage technique was smooth, strong and rhythmic and her voice firm, yet soothing. Her teacher, Tamara, was professional, helpful, detailed and courteous. All together a 5-star experience!

I had an facial treatment done by my Esthetician Amanda and she was amazing! I dont think I have ever felt that relaxed before because her hands are magic and the products they used felt amazing. I think the hot towel after exfoliating was my favorite part. Her instructor, Ms. Tamara did a great job checking in and ensuring everything was going smoothly. My stylist was super nice and amazing. She seemed to have had a grasp on her process, however the instructor(ms. Carmen I believe) was horrible. Her attitude was bitter and her styling skills were poor. She micromanaged my stylist to the point where she had no say. When the instructor Carmen was brushing my hair, she was aggressive and pulling my scalp. My scalp was hurting and throbbing. I was holding back tears. Along with that, when she washed my hair, she had accidentally poured tons of water down my back and shorts. She didn’t even acknowledge me or say sorry. Imagine sitting in wet clothes for 4 hours. Carmen was rushing my stylist and sloping paint on my hair bc she was in a rush to leave. In total my procedure took 6 hours for nothing. I left unsatisfied because my hair looked the same. I asked for light highlights on the bottom half of my head. After my hair was bleached, dark hair color was added back in. Carmen said the hair would lighten after a few showers… it has not. I’m sure this institution is great, but if Carmen is the instructor that day I’d recommend rescheduling. Nothing but love for my stylist however (do not want to list her name because she was amazing to me and I don’t want to harm her reputation).

Would be fantastic if i could actually come get services done, seeing that i had a great experience the first time i went in july, but for the last several weeks, my appointments all keep getting canceled. half the time, the school has failed to even inform me, and i only find out through the student who is going to do my hair. disappointing, seeing that i want to support students and help them get the credit they need while also getting quality services at a great price, but it looks like ill have to go elsewhere for now.

I had my hair cut and styled by Chloe Williams. She was the absolute sweetest! I enjoyed the actual experience of getting my hair done by Chloe more than getting it done elsewhere. She was conversational and professional. I have very fine heat damaged hair that needed a pretty drastic trim. She cut it from about armpit length to collar bone length (which I expected). She did a great job! It looks fuller and healthier now. I think she is a bit newer to doing hair on clients because she had not yet done a curtain bang before (her instructor did mine) but that’s ok! I would definitely go back for a future trim with Chloe.

I went to Paul Mitchell because the menu said an all over color was $35. I paid $75 by the end. My hair goes to my shoulders.. I was charged for 5 additional bowls of color. I’m STILL washing the Color out of my hair.I had an appointment at 1:30 and did not leave til 5:30. I understand that they are students and that they are learning but the fact that I spent so much money and spent so much time there was absolutely insane. The color was too dark. I asked for a chocolate brown and left with almost jet black. I’m hoping it fades fast. Do not go here if you are hoping to save some money. It will most likely add back up during the consultation. I will not be going back. I’m very upset with my hair.On a positive note: my student was wonderful and very sweet. She was around my age and very social.HOWEVER.Her instructor appeared to make her a little uncomfortable. And kept pushing her to use more and more product. The poor girl had to chase down her instructor after every step and the instructor was almost never to be found. I was told the Instructor would watch and help but.. that was not happening til the very end.

Disappointedappointments are hard to book: they never pick up the phone so i had to drive there to book one, the staffs werent that friendly either; they seem to not want customers in, and their website is down to book one, and my appt got cancelled the very last minute.you lost my business

I had my roots touched up and partial highlights done recently by Emily. She is a phase 2 student and she did a very nice job. I am very pleased with my results. However, the price was higher than the last visit there which included a trim that time and full highlights.I have another appointment scheduled with Emily next month right before she graduates. Zion was an amazing esthetician today and really catered to the needs of my skin. She performed a chemical peel along with microdermabrasion to help combat my hyperpigmentation and clogged pores.

I know a student who has worked very hard to do well at this school. When you come to visit you can see how the staff belittles students and cares little to none about their physical and mental health. I have also heard various complaints about how they do not believe their students and their doctor’s notes stating they have COVID-19. Many of the front desk attendants are rude as well. The staff is not well equipped to deal with this along with clients who scream at their students. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Horrible! Scheduled a perm 10 days in advance. Rearranged my whole Saturday for it. I show up and the lady who was supposed to do it did not come in. They never called me in advance to notify me and didnt try to get me in. Terrible service. Will never go back.

One of my friends go here to get her hair straightened and it always looks great plus for a shampoo and flat iron its really inexpensive so I decided to give them a try. So glad I did, Victoria did my hair and she was very professional and a beast with the flat iron! Ive been natural for 3 yrs and she made sure to apply heat protectant and had my hair laid with one pass of the flat iron. Shes amazing and Ill be going to make another appt today!

I got a balayage done this weekend and Olivia did a great job! She was super sweet and was great at communicating what we did with each step of the process.

My daughter has been attending this school for almost a year. She absolutely loves it. She says that her instructors are very supportive and have taught her a lot of information and are always willing to help her and answer her questions. She recently became part of the Design Team and loves the challenges shes been given so far and looks forward to each one. It has been amazing to witness her passion grow and her excitement for school each day. She works so hard and I am very proud of her. Thanks for helping her learn how to be a Cosmetologist! I think shes going to miss the school when she graduates in the fall! I feel that it is worth the investment and as a parent am very pleased with my daughters education. Thank you!

I have been going to Paul Mitchell Salon to get my hair done for approximately 8 -10 years now and I appreciate all the good work that’s put into having it done great. Ms Carmen as always been so professional and happy. Ms Carmen make sure the clients are taken care of and the students and guided correctly while learning.As the years go by I have seen teachers come and go Ms Carmen as always been consistent on getting the clients happy.Ms Kazumi, as come aboard within the last approximately 4 years and always very professional.I will continue going her to get my hair done.

I called several times to take an appointment to register at the school, but no one helped me, and I also sent an email and asked some questions about tuition fees, but unfortunately no one responded ....Unfortunately, I was happy to study in this school, but now I no longer care about this school and I will search for another school and they respect us by their customers contact and respond to their messages

I used to frequent the Aveda school for hair always left satisfied. I went in with one length hair needed a trim with layers put into my hair andtand gave me one of the girls that was about to graduate and this is what I came out with!Chopped up butchered disaster.I am an in tears! The teacher approved this! Im not going to say the name of the student but the fact that the teacher on the floor approved my haircut is absolutely unbelievable! It will take me months to grow this out😵

Miss Carmen has done a phenomenal job directing the students most recently I had Nakita doing my hair. The students get so excited when Miss Carmen shows them new techniques. They flock over when she demonstrates a new hair technique. Nakita is very professional and does an outstanding job. I can’t believe the curls she gets from a curling iron. I can’t wait until the school opens again!

This was my second time back, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. Everyone was super friendly, they kept the place neat and orderly, and there was always fun chatter or good music to listen to! The first time I went here, I got my hair dyed, and as it was my first time doing something like that, I was understandably a little nervous - turns out, I didn’t need to be. My stylist did a great job then, so when I came back this time, I asked for her again (tho I just did highlights this time). Her name’s Susan and when I need a touch up again, I will definitely be asking for her! Also, the prices are amazing! If you’re doing your hair on a budget, then look no farther! So, I definitely enjoyed my experience and will be back soon!

I have been coming here for about 7 years and I have not had a bad experience. I come in once a month for a cut and color and depending on the experience of the student is how much the instructor is there to help. I recommend the “School” all the time.

The students and staff at Paul Mitchell are so friendly and so accommodating! They will work with you with to style your hair to whatever you like and make you look amazing afterwards. They are flexible with scheduling and very affordable. They are my go too and ikeep coming back! I tried a facial today while waiting for my hair appointment and the ladies did a great job! They are certainly my go to place when I want to be treated!

Understanding this is a school however it’s still a business. I have gone to Paul Mitchell schools for over 10 years and will not return. I understand mistakes happen however treating a customer in such a disrespectful manner is not warranted. I will say Corey was very kind and empathetic. I simply wanted to be treated with respect for a mistake made by an employee.

I had an excellent experience with Sarah my stylist and Shoshana, her supervising instructor. I paid less than half of what I usually pay at a salon and received a better cut and color. Best layered haircut Ive ever had, much attention to detail. They were also able to cover my stubborn gray roots, while at the same time, putting in beautiful caramel highlights. Definitely will return for hair and try other services.

This Girl FRIED my hair. I only got partial highlights, but this girl FRIED it til it was burnt and crumbled away. Also, he toner was only put in my hair for 5 minutes too, so not long enough. So now I have orange, crispy Fried hair... Fantastic.

I went here for years because prices were reasonable. My colors always were around $60-$80 because I have thick hair. I understood and had no problem with the upcharge. Today the instructor tried to charge me $200!! And the lady was crazy rude when I balked. Luckily they hadnt started yet. I left. I can go to a salon with a licensed hair dresser and pay $200 for color. No way in hell I am paying that much for a student.

I recently went into the Esani school for a hair cut. I was very apprehensive because I wasnt sure who would be cutting my hair and the level of training they would have. Champ came and greeted me and took me back to the styling area to begin my service. Ive been in many Barber shops over the years and this was just as if not MORE professional then any shop Ive frequented. Not only was he very friendly, but we had a great conversation while I got my cut. The cut was AMAZING, exactly what I wanted. Needless to say, I will be back to visit Champ for the remainder of his time at the school. He was great. Everyone was really. Very professional, very fun, and a great environment eased my fear of getting styled at a school. I would recommend this experience to anyone. Plus it was great to save some money on my cut :).

My young adult daughter recommended the Paul Mitchell Esani school to have my hair cut - since she enjoyed her experience so much. I have now been using this operation for several months and could not be more pleased. The students are dedicated and the supervisors do a fine job in overseeing their work while providing real-time teaching moments. My daughter has been attending this school for a few months,she hates it and has been miserable since days one. She complains about the teaching, communication, cleanliness and organization throughout the school. Shes gone to the director of the school and nothing has changed, I visited the school a few weeks ago and used their restroom it was DISGUSTING. I quickly realized everything my daughter has complained is true. I witnessed one of the instructors yelling at a student because the student asked for help. There is at least a 100 students and they all have lunch at the same time in one small break room that only has about 6-8 tables with about 15 chairs. Shes at school for 10 hours and only has a 30 min lunch which isnt enough time to go anywhere for lunch. I hate that Im paying this school 20k for my daughters education because this school isnt worth anything in my eyes. I wouldnt recommend any parent to choose this school for their child.

Scheduled several weeks out, 1st time customer, had numerous phone calls to get appointment time correct. Every time they called they kept having the time incorrect. Finally DAY OF SERVICE they call to say the student assigned to me is out and the only appt they can offer is in 30 minutes or in an hour. I work so that wasnt an option. Person calling to inform me of this spoke so rapidly I had to listen to message 3 times just to understand the phone number. I was WARNED not to go there so may this was a good thing. Would not recommend them based on their customer service didnt seem to care if I rescheduled or not...I wont.

The worst hair experience I have ever had. As I was speaking to my stylist she mentioned she was graduating from the Paul Mitchell school the upcoming Sunday. After knowing that information I thought I was in great hands! Little did I know, she would be the worst stylist I have ever encountered in my life. I don’t know what they teach these students, but even a toddler could have done better if you gave them a box of dye.Not only did the entire process (haircut plus partial highlights) take 3.5 hours, I ended up walking out with BLACK HAIR. I originally went in with light brown hair with blonde highlights and just wanted a touch up as the color was becoming a bit orange. I ended up walking out with PITCH BLACK hair. After the end of the appointment the stylist stated I know the color is a bit darker than we expected, and all I could think was HOW MUCH DARKER COULD IT POSSIBLY GET!?!Not even to get me started on my haircut. After leaving I went straight to the closest grocery store to purchase some horse shampoo to make it grow fast as it could because she also cut my hair SUPER SHORT, when I mentioned all I wanted was a trim.Can’t say I blame the stylist entirely; I should have known better to come to this location. If you’re debating whether to come here as a cheaper alternative (as I did in this case – I normally go to ulta for $130, thinking what’s the worst that could happen it’s just a partial highlight). Please save yourself from the heartbreak.
