Great Customer Service. Employee came to drive my car in the bay before I could park it. I was there every bit of 15 minutes which was good for a Saturday morning. The inside where customers sit was clean and did not smell like oil like most shops do. The employees seem to know their jobs well.

I called 3 different Jiffy Lubes and 3 different Fire Stones- none were able to perform a state inspection, either because their machine was broken or because an inspector was not available that day. I called Kwik Kar and they got me in right away. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes. They were very professional and I received excellent service. I will definitely be back there for future car service needs.

I get my vehicle inspected here every year and so does my family. Kwik Kar is very professional and the only time you may have to wait a moment before being helped is when you first arrive, mostly because they are already diligently assisting someone else and just need a moment to get to you. But once they do, its well worth it!Their staff is friendly and professional, also honest and hard working. I was assisted by Mo, and he was very friendly and very fast. I recommend Kwik Kars Red Bud location for anyone who needs go take care of their state vehicle inspection. They dont disappoint!5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love going here for inspections. I have never had a problem. They will always recommend some service your car might need, as all shops do, but they dont get pushy when you say you dont want it. The staff is always quick, friendly, and respectful.

Friday the 13th (of course…), I was driving home from work and my CEL and TCS lights came on. I dropped my vehicle off on a busy Saturday morning and was told that it wouldn’t be looked at until Monday (no worries). Monday, I am told that my car was next to be looked at (around 1pm). Tuesday, I am told that they were running codes the previous evening, and that it was their mechanic’s only day off outside of the Sunday they’re closed. Understandable. Wednesday, they had a few cars ahead of me for oil changes, but promised to call me back, as they were writing up the diagnostic list. I was a little frustrated at this point only because of the lack of updates/inaccurate timeline. There wasn’t any real solid communication on their part, and I totally get how busy their line of work is, on top of the understaffing that’s happening to nearly every business this year. Thursday, my husband called and they told him that they could find nothing wrong with it—that the lights coming on must’ve been a fluke. I am assuming they cleared the computer and both the codes & CEL lights stopped showing up. Friday, the 20th, I picked it up and they were kind enough to not charge me anything BUT the TCS and CEL lights came back on as I was halfway home. Obviously it’s a huge disruption to your schedule when your car is out of commission for a week, but to have it be gone for that long with no headway on the issue really stings. I can’t be 100% sure but I’d hedge my bets and say my car could’ve been properly dx’d and repaired by now if I had taken it elsewhere…which I now have to do, regardless. I love Kwik Kar and have taken my vehicle to have repairs and services done at a different KK location for years prior, but after a move, this location was closest and I held it to the same standard as my previous KK. Maybe it was just bad timing or bad luck, but this really soured my experience with this particular location.

Ive been a Kwik Kar customer for 9 years. It seems like every time Im there they go above and beyond for me. Chad noticed an issue with my car while I was there for an inspection and was able to troubleshoot it and repair it on the spot. The work is always done well and the crew is always friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

I dont know what Jason gets paid but I think he needs a raise or some kind of bonus for not only what he did for me but for what I witnessed him running around doing for several customers to make sure they had a great experience also. They are very fast in the actual service of the car. I took away a star because they dont have a full time receptionist and will make you wait in the lobby until a mechanic is free to speak with you. If they speed up the check-in process Id give them 5 stars.

Ive used this place plenty of times, and I understand that for some reason auto mechanics arent held to the same customer service standards of other industries.. thats fine.However for me to come in twice in one day and both times the manager at the desk seven feet from the counter cant even be bothered to look up? Let alone offer to help, I cant abide by that.When I came back for pick up I had to walk towards the pit and flag someone down, bc the manager while looking right at me, hung up his phone and proceeded to make another call without even acknowledging my presence.You need to kick this locations Gm to the curb, and find someone who remembers you are still a customer dependent business. Yea cars gonna break and we gotta get em fixed but there are plenty of places in town that at least pretend to appreciate business

Constantly trying to upsell and it’s so annoying. When I come and ask for an oil change that doesn’t mean I want every part of my car replaced. Please stop being so pushy it makes me hate getting my oil changed. Also once when I came to get an oil change, I drove my car up there and it’s was running ***perfectly***, and after the “oil change”, my car wouldn’t even START. And then they proceeded to blame me say it was because I had a bad battery??? Nope, went to get the battery checked and O’Reillys said that was a lie. LOL I have no words and can’t even begin to think how I could go in for an oil change and leave with my car not even starting. Ludicrous.

I went to KK on Feb. 1st 2021 @ 9am and I walked inside and no acknowledge me. I saw like 5 maybe 6 guys in the bay area and 3 of them were smoking cigarettes. I saw another vehicle pull up and one them approached her. When I saw this I decided to leave and go across the street to the new Valvoline. At KK the mgr. was inside the building as I was looking at him and he never moved from his seat. I hope the owner knows they are costing him money because I will bever go back there again. There were no cars being serviced when I pulled up. The guy asked me as I walked to my vehicle if I needed help by that time it was too late. I have spent a lot of money at KK in the past

Went to get my tires aired up. Josh helped me immediately with friendly service. He showed me the digital gauge so I could see when it reached the psi I wanted for each tire. He got me out in about 5 minutes even though there was other work going on at the time. I could see Josh as a manager one day.

I come here a lot for my oil changes, it’s in a very convenient location for me. However, I will no longer be using Kwik Kar Automotive for any repair or maintenance. No matter your belief during this pandemic… It is out of respect to wear a mask when working inside someone’s vehicle, or working at the front desk. I will no longer use kwik Kar automotive, ever again, ever! The disrespect was very real.I was approached by a worker without a mask, he was in my vehicle without a mask, it was sheer disrespect. This kind of business, that allows their workers to not wear masks during a pandemic- has no respect for their community.

I had just had a dreadful experience at Lambs Auto on Sunrise in Round Rock. The service I received at Kwik Kar EXCEEDED my expectations. Alyssa, Joshua, and Hector were just some of the friendly folks I met at this location. Alyssa made such an impression, I returned two days later with a small gift. A token of my appreciation. I was a customer for many years, mainly because of the competent, quick, and reasonably priced service they offered. However, A few months ago I took my daughters car in for an oil change. I noticed most of the employees were different. They didnt appear to be very busy but it took almost an hour. When I went to pay I discovered that they had put a different oil in than I had requested. When I got home, the car leaked oil from the drain plug (it didnt before). Yesterday I went back for the first time since to get a vehicle inspected. The employee who spoke to me explained that they were under new ownership and that the state required that they re-apply to be an inspection location. He also explained that all of the Kwik Kar locations were independently owned and operated.I hope the new owners can turn it around. It used to be a good place to get your car serviced, but not so much anymore.

Horrible service! They swindled me for my money. I told them about my check engine light being on before they pulled it in the shop and they never told me that it would fail state inspection no matter what. They still pulled it in and charged me. My mom took her minivan to them for a oil change. They did not put any oil back in the engine and let her dive it home. They dont care. They will take your money and never give refunds. They dont care about being polite. I wouldnt even trust them to fill up my windshield wiper fluid.

On two different occasions, my wife has been told that our car needed expensive repairs here. We have taken our car to our mechanic who has found the issue to be misdiagnosed at best and during this last oil change, they didnt change the o-ring on the oil filter, which was now leaking. Instead they explained that a $250 repair was needed for something unrelated. Disappointed since the fact that this is nearby is a real plus.

This morning as I was leaving home to go to work I had an alert on my dash that said, Oil Pressure Low, Stop Engine. I thought, Im only a few hundred miles over the mileage stated on the Kwik Kar tag so Im not sure whats wrong. It was 7 am so I did not go to Kwik Kar as they dont open until 8 AM, but I went to Jiffy Lube that was open and I had been to before. I tell them I need my oil changed. The last oil change I had was at Kwik Kar on Red Bud.They open my hood and check my dipstick and there is not one drop of oil on the dipstick. I tell them Im only a few hundred miles over the sticker so they think Kwik Kar wrote the wrong mileage on the sticker. Once they get in to working on my truck, they find their Jiffy Lube filter with serial number and employee initials, their Jiffy Lube red tape seal intact, and no indication that my oil had been changed since JL last changed it at least 6 months prior. Indicating that when I went to Kwik Kar a few months ago, they said they changed my oil and charged me for it but they never changed it.Additionally, I had Kwik Kar flush my transmission a year and a half ago and a year later they were telling me and showed me that my transmission fluid was burning and brown. This morning JL informed me that it was burnt and showed me the liquid straight from my truck to back up their statement. I dont believe Kwik Kar flushed my transmission when they said they did and charged me for it. I do not trust this company, I will never go back, and I do not recommend any one use their services.

After I pulled up I put on a mask then I was instructed to illegally park in a handycapped space. It was silly of me to assume since I was instructed to illegally park that this would be a short wait. While I was waiting two vehicle pulled in after me. Both customer were caucasian and not wearing masks. Both vehicles were immediately entered into the bays for service. Its also important to note that no employees were wearing masks or implementing social distancing. After witnessing this obvious display of rasism I immediately took my business elsewhere. Pfast Lube on 448 Farm to Market 685, Pflugerville, TX 78660 had me in and out in 30 minutes with more customers in the service line than Kwik Kar for both the oil change and state inspection which can only mean Kwik Kar is quick when they choose to be. Also all of pfast lubes employees were professional and wearing face coverings the whole time.

My son took his car on a Saturday for oil change. He paid and they gave him receipt which was $44.36 which indicated all the services they did. Technician told him, his brakes are worn out and would need to be replaced. He was told they charge $250.00. In the first place, shops do indicate their recommendations on the receipt what they found and what needs to be done, but there was none. He did not let them do it, but of course with a some dark clouds hanging over his head. What if his brakes malfunction while he is driving. We took the car to a reliable shop which specializes on brakes and wheel alignments and surprise!.......The front brakes are still very good and the hind brakes has still more than one half left. We were not even charged for brake inspection. I hope no one ever fall for this scam. Go to a reliable shop if ever they tell you about your brakes. It is scary to think that the brakes are worn out and anytime, anything may happen while youre driving and the tendency is to just let them fix it right there and then. Sorry, that will be his last trip to your shop.

First off the front desk lady is rude. When the man approached me at my car he asked what service I needed told him he said to have my ID card in the dash well I had my ID card on my phone and explained to him he said that was perfectly fine. Got up to the front she asked for my ID card I was trying to get it off my phone again she rudely said ID card i had to tell her I was pulling it up. She then rudely said to the inspector waiting for her to get. Okay when it was time to pay I was trying to go get my card from my car as I’m walking out she yells my last name I turned around and said I’m trying to go get my card out of my car while holding a car seat and trying to keep the door open. She’s very rude. Has a horrible attitude. Was arguing with every customer that walked in and out. Loved this place before but now not so much. The gentlemen out side are nice and helpful her not so much.

I pull up about 3:45-:50 and get greeted. They take my keys and ask me to take a seat. So I did. Didnt move the entire time I was there. Meanwhile, no less than 4 or 5 other customers get in and get out and Im wondering what on earth is going on with my car? Anytime someone is getting called up to check out they get addressed by the make or model of their car. No one has called a Hyundai or Santa Fe. Nothing.5:15 or so rolls around. Yet another customer who was there after me is getting checked out so I get up and ask when my car is going to get serviced since Id been there about an hour (well over an hour in actuality though I hadnt realized it when I made my comment). Theres general confusion about my car. Has it been serviced or not?They finally figure out my car has been serviced already. This takes an additional 10 minutes. The technician sees Im upset that Ive been in their wait room for almost 1.5 hrs now and starts trying to pin it on me. Did you drop off the car and leave and come back? No, sir. I sat in *that* chair directly in front of the radio this entire time. Never once did anyone come in and ask about the Hyundai or the Santa Fe and Ive been sitting here wasting my time for the last hour apparently.Hes clearly agitated (as am I). Well were fixing this right now. My car gets driven around and the other technician who does this passes my key to the technician at the desk through a side window from outside. The technician in front of me then aggressively slides/tosses my keys at me across the counter and says Have a good day with as much dripping contempt and sarcasm as I think he can muster.In the end, sure, I didnt have to pay for an oil change that they say happened (though there is a sticker saying when to come back, etc). But in the end, the time they wasted and the attitude I was presented with was worth much more than an oil change.

Sadley after 14 years of given my business I have decided to look else where. The turn around of every employee with different attitudes was a leading cause of my decision. Progressively, the customer service stated to nose dive, but when the owner is there magically all employees are nice. Customer service is the prime action and experience that promotes success. I have been changing oil over there for a couple of years and so far so good. Not sure why there is always different technicians and I noticed that one time they apparently one of them put the air filter in the wrong position and not able to close the cap accordingly. My suggestion is that try to be a little bit familiar of what need to be changed and do a quick check at home to make sure that everything still fine.

Gone down hill over the years. I have used this location about 10 times, and Im usually very happy with the service.Lately I can confirm that the front desk lady is indifferent, but as Ive pulled up recently in a car and motorcycle, they used to greet you and let you know how long it would be etc, but after waiting for ~10 minutes in the front, no one showed up.Sadly, theyre 1 of only a few inspection stations in the area. I just wont force someone to take my money from me.My wife and I wont be going back. Theyre not likely to care.

Rip off!I’ve been coming here for years with many different vehicles and have noticed that their business plan has changed. It used to be good ol boy service that you could trust but starting about a year ago that changed. It’s all about up sale. If you hear the word “burnt” beware. Today was the third time they tried this on me. They told me that my transmission fluid was “burnt” but it is a sealed transmission. Very dishonest practice to lie to your customers. I will not be back.

I must say Ive never had a problem with good customer service until recently, there use to be a very sweet young girl who greeted the customers with a smile on her face and thats not what I got welcomed with my last visit.. you hired a dumpster troll with prison tats that say inappropriate words on her knuckles who is rude! She doesnt have any customer service, she trys to recommend things like she knows what shes talking about and when you tell her you are not interested, her facial expressions says it all... just plain trashy! Get the old cashier back!
