Used these guys about a year ago to replace a taillight broken by the forklift driver of an orange box store. The tech was quite polite, timely, and communicative. Setting up the appointment was easy, and having my truck repaired at the jobsite without interrupting my work day was great. I was also impressed with the pricing, as it subjectively seemed comparable if not lower than traditional shops.

I called over there because we have a truck that we couldn’t get started and it’s been sitting for a few weeks. I spoke to James, he told me to get our battery tested first and make sure it’s not that. He was extremely nice and helpful over the phone. We had already tried to jump start our car several times and it had a new battery in it so we didn’t think that was it, but we followed his advice and took it back to the shop to get tested. Sure enough, it was the battery! We will definitely be calling back for anything else we need for our cars in the future.

First time Ive ever written a review for a company I didnt even use! My sons car was having starting issues and I reached out to James after finding him on the web. He called promptly, and spent 15-30 mins with me having me explain the problem. I sat in the car while he asked me to try various things and tell him what happened. I sent him a couple of videos on the problem. He did some research and thinking, then came back to me with a couple of things to try before he came out and charged me $90+ for a diagnostic visit. The first thing he suggested ended up being the fix, and I took care of it myself, for about $15 in parts and 5 mins of labor. Meanwhile James charged me nothing for his time or input. Thank you James for putting my satisfaction before your bottom line!

James did a wonderful job with helping me replace my alternator, since i didnt have all the tools for the Job. The dealership quoted $165/hr(labor only no parts), and told me it would take half a day to get my car back!! He did it $100 flat in under an hour, professional and personable! Took my concerns into consideration and checked to see if the alternator was truly the problem. I will definitely be coming back!(Disclaimer, I purchased a new alternator before hand.)

Very unprofessional. My car was leaking coolant but not overheating. I told James that when I filled the coolant reservoir up, it would take 2 minutes for the coolant to pour out from the bottom. Even though they had that information they decided to drive the vehicle to there shop and take a chance cracking the aluminum heads. That was very unprofessional that should have towed the vehicle and not have takin any chances. Then they said by the time they got to the shop the car was steaming from the top of the engine.they repaired afrw things that costed us 590 dollars and said they had to fix the oil leak before they could work on the coolant problem. Wow!! We paided the bill 590$ and asked them to park the vehicle in there parking lot for one day so I could get back from out of town business but they said a tow truck was gonna probably tow my car that night off there property. This is how they treat costumers. Very dishonest unprofessional i will never come here again or recommend anyone to this auto shop.. the vehicles coolant leaking problem was never fixed evan after paying the bill

I have a Honda CRV and a feral kitten rode home with me from Houston inside the panel underneath my vehicle. James was the hero of the day by removing the panel with numerous clips and bolts so the kitten could be safely removed. This task certainly falls under other services and we truly appreciate James skills and kind heart to help our family.

Honest as the day is long, truly. So excellent mechanic that sometimes I drive to him for small, quick things. Once he had accident and stood by his work to repair fully at no cost to me. I live in Cedar Park neighborhood where he does work for many, many neighbors. Cannot possibly fully state the integrity James displays in all he does. Cant go wrong, no gamble, he always does what needs to be done. A mechanic/person you can count on. Rare these days and appreciated.

My car wouldn’t start, so I was stuck in a shopping mall parking lot. I called James based on online reviews. He triaged my problem for FREE on the phone and recommended a solution. My son took care of it, and it only cost me the price of the part. I’ve already recommended James to my family, and he will have my business from now on.

Quoted me on 80 for change both headlights. Once he took off one tire! he told me that problem is not the bulbs but the light mechanism itself. So We end up didn’t do the service, I appreciate his time for coming down and tell me the problem and “I ask how much do I owe you for this “ he charged me full price “$80” to take off a tire... I stood there and I thought.. ok he did come down here so I’ll give him 50. I told him 50 and he haggle 60.. 60 dollars to take a tire off!... which he put on the receipt a “discount” the fact that he was gonna charge me full price for barely a fraction of the full service is highly unethical.. I pick this service because of the review.... does he pay for these or what ? Professional at first but watch out.

James was amazing. I was in a bind with both of my vehicles being out of commission at the same time. He called me back quickly and then showed up promptly and took care of one vehicle way faster than expected. He then made a plan to show up and fix the 2nd vehicle a few days later. Needed my alternator replaced. Called and received an estimate within 10 minutes. Price was great and way better than taking it to a local repair shop. As a Mom of 4 I did not have to load and unload kids to take to a shop he came out to my home, repaired same day, and was done within an hour. Will be the first person I call with any mechanical issues.

Gave James a call because I had a huge coolant leak somewhere and told him about everything I had tried myself and he told me about a hose close to my throttle body directly on top of my thermostat in my 95 F150 302 and I located it and took it off and sure enough it was that hose that was leaking the entire time. He told me to see what replacing that would do and if it was still having the problem he would come look at it. What do you know? It worked! James is very knowledgeable and trustworthy!I have used James many times for different repairs on both my mom’s truck and mine as well. My father in law gave us his prized possession, a 1969 Ford F100. Since it had been sitting a while, it is in good shape, but needed some TLC on the engine. James is just Great, called in on Saturday 7.30Pm and he came to my house at 9.30 am Sunday morning to fix my car. My brakes were giving me a hard time and didn’t want to risk driving and he came in fixed the rotors and my break pads he advised to change the caliper if I wanted to make sure everything gets fixed and he change the brake fluid as well never pressured, very knowledgeable at what he does and I couldn’t be happier. Fixed everything in less then 3 HOURS and my car was back to normal. JAMES your Awesome !!!

I had a simple repair that I wanted to do myself, but was missing some tools for the job. For my 2006 CTS Cadillac 2.8, I had bought the parts spark plugs, coils, & lower intake gaskets to have James tune car up. James left the car running like a truck as it wasnt driving like that before he placed the new parts.The kicker is, he came back to look at the car, but really did nothing, and claimed he knew he did the tune up right. Yep right, the codes came up as follows: 0351,0352, 0353, 0354, 0355, 0356 (coils) after he did the tune-up. He never gave any recommendations or solutions to the problem and stated he didnt have the proper equipment to find out what was the problem, or to repair; I was willing to pay him to fix it, but he had no resolution.Thus, as a mobile mechanic, who rides around with a equipped van/truck, he should have proper equipment to scan & analysis all work he performs.I am a very unhappy camper. I will never ever use him ever again!

My family and I were on our way back from 4th of July vacation. We had been driving for 6 HOURS before we broke down 240 miles away from home. We were stranded in 100 degree weather with our kids. He swapped our alternator within an hour and had us back on the road headed home!!
