I love black rock coffee! They have a wonderful medium to dark bean/roast (generally not a fan of lighter/fruitier roasts), and its aways a delicious experience! Lots of fun syrup and drink options. Baristas are always nice and polite. One of my favorite coffee shops, for sure!

Great coffee place, I always grab a refreshing drink when i drove by on 620 this is good location. Their ice coffees are amazing, and employees are really friendly and pretty fast. Don’t have to wait on a huge line 15min just for a cup of coffee, just few min in and out. I highly recommend this place if you haven’t try it yet. Interior is very modern and they play nice music.

Love this place! The cups are a lot bigger than Starbucks for a bit less. Plus their peach smoothie is amazing! I just wish they had a tip jar instead of asking for a tip which makes me feel put on the spot.

Not too much selection but what they do have is really good. Tables for small groups and one table for a large group. Outdoor seating too.

I was very excited to have a coffee shop pop up in my area that was not Starbucks. The staff is friendly, the coffee is great, and the few times I have been in the shop, it was clean. I love my coffee and I think this place does a great job. I one a small salon in Round Rock and I love bringing coffee to my staff and they love it. Thank you for making yummy coffee and providing service.

Im sorry but asking on a card purchase if I want to tip for a pricey coffee is so weird to me. The coffee is good but the overall attitude from the girl when I said no was just what I needed when going about my day. Won’t be back.

Great coffee and service. Just expect a longer than usual wait if you go in the morning. I love that they offer Tacodeli tacos and other local breakfast fare.

I’ve come here a few times since it opened, and the service and coffee have gotten worse each time. Today there was something very gritty in my coffee, almost like sand. I was hoping it was maybe coffee grounds or sugar, but it didn’t seem like either. Whatever it was, it was not very good so I don’t plan on coming back for a while. I do like the location though.

I judge a coffee shop based on three things.1. Atmosphere2. How their espresso works with their caramel3. Their ChaiThe new Black Rock Coffee Bar in Round Rock offers a pleasant atmosphere. The music is loud, which can be off-putting, but adjustable. The white interior offers a modernity that might retract from feeling like home, though. The only bar to sit at is a window corner. The space is small, but not many people would expect a place to sit like I do. I love coffee bars for reading purposes, so I might knock them down for purely peaceful surroundings, but there is a nook in the back that would offer a great place to study for a few hours.Their Caramel Blondie, made with white chocolate was fantastic. Having just gone through Covid (I was negative WEEKS before trying Black Rock), my taste might not be the most trustworthy, but the latte was strong enough to know that it was very flavorful. Very sweet, for sure, which is a sensation not taken away by Covid (just flavor).I came back the very next day to try their Chai. I was also impressed. Id try them again and again, and theyre great enough to break an addiction to Starbucks.

The coffee is great. I’m not impressed with long long fingernails all over a face that hands me coffee. That’s kinda gross. But they make an excellent and consistent product. Generally speaking decent service at the window.

Good coffee. Excellent service. They could use some comfier seating though. But maybe thats on purpose so customers dont stay too long!

Been a number of times. Never had something I didnt like. The staff is super nice and know how to make a tasty beverage.

I’m from Oregon where Black Rock is originated and it’s so nice to have a slice of home here in Texas. I missed infused energy drinks SO much and Black Rocks Fuel is great! It’s a great sub because I can’t drink coffee. I’m glad they made a location closer to me because I can’t drive up to the other location very often. Everyone I’ve met there is v kind:)

The breakfast tacos are the bomb (Tacodelis). I always get a friendly service.

I love this place but they could make a lot more money out of me if they didnt have a weird rule of turning off the oven at 5 when they close at 9... got there at 5:03 and I guess it was too much to turn on the oven for a bagel 🤷‍♀️ still love their drinks though

Fastest service Ive ever received at a coffee shop! Delicious cardamom treats, and perfect chai tea latte 👌 Definitely will be revisiting this place.

The coffee was like drinking straight sugar. I got the blonde coffee do not recommend. The food was stale and flavorless. The blue berry scone I got was not only stale but also burnt. And the everything bagel was just not good.

Easily a new favorite, however, I asked for a cold drink and got hot. That was one time out of about 4 or 5.

First of All, I want to say that Javier is wonderful! He is very friendly and great customer service. Kudos for him. I love the coffee, my fave the iced caramel truffle.

The staff is wonderful, nice, and patient. The service is very quick and I’m not even exaggerating! The coffee taste delicious! My favorite is the Jack hammer. We ordered our coffee and walk to the outside patio, then few seconds after we sat down they called our name saying it was ready. So it took like less than 4 minutes. Maybe even less than 3 minutes.

I always get an iced vanilla latte when testing a new coffee shop.Theirs is smooth, creamy and milky, with a slight tang of bitter sweet coffee. Its great.My only gripe is that the person at the window vocally asks for a tip, which is super cringe. Seriously?

The atmosphere is great, customer service is awesome, and the employees always seem to be in a great mood! The best coffee Ive had so far, theres not a thing that I dislike on the menu. AMAZING!

Atmosphere is pretty cool for meeting people for coffee. Coffee is pretty good, but honestly pretty expensive for what it is. If Im paying $7 for a frozen coffee, its rather it be supporting a small business rather than a franchise. My two other gripes is that they ask you for a tip in the drive thru which is kind of an awkward situation to be in and the baked goods taste really dry and lack flavor. I dont know if I would go out of my way to have coffee here on a regular basis as opposed to the Starbucks thats closer to home, but for meeting people I would rather go here. They also have some cool barista style energy drinks if thats your thing, and the rewards system seems pretty generous but overall i think its just hyped up atmosphere.

New favorite coffee place in the area. You can actually taste the coffee. Starbucks is tok sweet and corporate. Summermoon is too hateful (Google the owners response to abortion.) Black Rock Coffee is the perfect medium and everyone that works these is so friendly and kind. Its nice to have small talk as you wait for the order.

Its was a good first experience for me. Staff were nice and my drink arrived quick. My drink was good. I like the atmosphere, calm.

We love this new coffee bar! Everything from the blended drinks to the regular coffee hits the spot. Plus, the staff is always friendly, even at the drive-thru; theyre quick but you never feel rushed. Well be coming back for more!

Been here twice now and I really like the product and the service. The staff are excellent and super nice.

Went in for two coffees and was ignored by the two girls working for over 15 minutes before I was greeted and my order was taken. Then it took over 40 minutes to get the drinks! When I asked for an ETA on when the drinks would be done, I was told “when they are ready!” Worst service ever and coffee was nothing special.

Cool atmosphere, decent coffee. No changing table and no high chairs. Not baby friendly.

Got the order wrong, but the drink was still good. I am loyal customer of the Southwest Pkwy location. This new Round Rock location is going to need some work on customer service. What I like about the Southwest Pkwy location is the employees are friendly and go above plus beyond to make you feel your valuable. I’ve only went through drive-thru at Southwest Pkwy and they know me still. The Round Rock employee via drive-thru hardly said anything to me, even when I tried to make small talk after my order was wrong and had to wait for it to be fixed. I tipped $5 and he never said thanks. He didn’t ask for my phone number like other location does to get rewards. Drink was still wrong, but I took it anyway. Truthfully, I’d drive out my way 30 minutes to Southwest Pkwy to get my right drink and great customer service back, even with this location being only 5 minutes.
