I recently took a HP laptop in with a hinge problem. The owner demonstrated a good familiarity with this type of issue and was able to get a replacement part (base of the laptop, including keyboard) within a few days. He asked me to come in and approve the part before installing. After my approval, he installed and returned it to me that same day. I found this business to be honest and upfront and was confident in dealing with them.

My desktop computer crashed this morning. I got online on my tablet and did a little research about computer repair places and found Economy Computer Repair with a 5 star rating! After reading some of the review I called and the owner was readily available to answer my questions. I took the computer in at 1:30 p.m. and had it back by 4:00 p.m. same day and its running fantastic! Great customer service!

Economy Computer Repair did an excellent job repairing the hard drive on our laptop. Great communication and wonderful service. The repairs were done quickly and we had our laptop back within a day. What I really want to emphasize is how kind Matt was in dealing with my husband and me. I don’t really know where to begin, to describe my feelings of relief when I first talked with Matt, a computer guru and an angel in my eyes. I had told a friend I needed to give up my very old computer which had System 7 and buy a new computer with System 10, and she recommended Matt. When I talked with him at the shop, he acted like he had all the time in the world. He listened to me, asked me what I used my computer for, and we discussed various options. I took my gaming PC in because it was having startup issues. Luckily they claimed it was a simple fix and fixed it. But, the issues were with how they handled my PC. When I got home I saw that the body was missing multiple screws. Secondly I noticed some rattling inside so I opened it up only to see a part taped to the inside with blue tape and they never once even mentioned any of this to me or told me what that part even was and why it was taped. Very poor communication. On top of that they charged me extra from what they quoted.If you value your computer don’t bring it here.

On the 5th the screen on my 9 year old HP laptop burned out. Juanita explained the diagnostic cost is only if I dont use their service. Thankfully it was just the screen. Called Matt, described my problem and he told me to bring my machine in. Took it down and he looked at it immediately. It took a little bit to find the problem, but he did and replaced the faulty hardware while i was waiting. I know that is not the norm, usually have to leave your machine, but I appreciated the immediate attention. Was not easy to find but not hard, either. Look for the sign in the window. Technician was friendly, guessed the cause of the problem (correctly, as it turns out) and quoted me an estimated cost before I left. Problem was fixed the same day and I was charged the quoted price. He even cleaned my laptop at no extra charge. I used to go to Discount Electronics but this guy is faster and makes me feel more confident about the repair.

When my Mac got a white screen because I stupidly clicked on an Adobe Update that was really malware, I took it to Economy Computer Repair because my local Mac repair place was closed that day. At first I wasnt sure of ECRs expertise because it was just a little shop in an out-of-the-way strip center but after speaking with Jaunita, my uncertainty was put to rest. She had worked for Mac and knew what she was doing even though they had another Max expert on staff. They removed the virus, loaded data from my back-up, restored the computer and added the latest version Mac system for a modest fee. But after a diagnostic they . informed me that a number of sectors were bad on my old machine, which explained other troubles I was having with it, and could sell me a refurbished one at a reasonable cost and a 3-year warranty! So I bought it. They discounted the original cost I accrued in the sale price of the new machine. When I experienced a problem with another malware attempt the next day I brought it in and they fixed that for free then and there. A few weeks later I noticed my battery wasnt lasting long and so they ordered a new battery and installed it for free. I didnt expect that. Juanita assured me that I had a 3-year warranty and anything that happens I can bring it in. This is the kind of service that is rare, these days. I found that Economy Computer repair had the expertise I needed and a client-friendly attitude that brings business back. My only regret in writing this review is the fear that their sterling business practices will make them too busy and Ill have to stand in line to purchase my next computer.

Not good. Yesterday I barely got permission from my employer to be late to work so I could get my broken laptop taken care of. I got there before 9am and waited and waited for the shop to open but no one showed up. Finally a little after 9:30 I gave up and left. Very disappointed.
