My family has been doing business with this company for the past two generations. Mine before me my mother.For tech furniture or appliances.Definitely a place I love to acquire credit. with if you have it set up of course.Fair deals wounderful rates would recommend to those looking for a good deal.My you find what you are looking for.
If NO stars was an option I would select it, the manager and his baby mama that works with him are extremely rude they have kids just hanging out around there, I could have sworn it was a furniture store not a day care. I have never been late on payment before but with a pandemic going on I needed more to time to make this payment, I didn’t want anyone harassing me for the payment so I called the store to see what my options were and I’m not to sure if she is even an employee over there but once again the managers baby mama answered the phone and was extremely rude and basically told yes your late and that I can push the payment back. I DIDN NOT NEED HER ATTITUDE towards me for just trying communicate what specific date I’ll will be able to make the payment on.
One star only because no star isnt an option. They lie and manipulate the way they word things to make you pay every extra cent they can. They changed my payment date without authorization or notification. They harassed me for even being one day late including during the pandemic. After paying off 2 items early, and having my 3rd, i will no longer do business with them. Worst customer service EVER. Aarons it is.
Some of the staff are ok but they have changed some of their policies for renting like mandatory auto pay. I wont rent another thing from Rent A Center just because of this.
The credit manager of the store, Charles, is very rude and overtalks customers. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever endured. His tone was rude and irate. Treating customers the way that he does will make everyone go to a different rent to own store....During our conversation, he continued to overtalk me, never responded to my questions or my plead to stop speaking to me in the tone that he was speaking to me in.
Stop driving and talking on the phone. Googles of lothal Big Brother actions Are wanting to get in every bathroom for better viewing? But maybe not here.
To Whom This May Concern:Unfortunately, Today I had a very disappointing level of customer experience.I was trying to receive some help from Jason (GM) on purchasing a sectional however he refused to show me the stores inventory and asked me ”If planning on paying for his staff overtime in exchange for help in viewing the stores merchandise.”I am extremely disappointed by this type of uncustomary level of service and feel this deserves immediate attention from corporate. I have lost my faith today in ”Rent-A-Center.” I hope there will be a new store manager coming soon to restore this location service.P.S. David the manager and Mike they are awesome. Im not just saying this. But Mike worked really hard to try to find something for me he finally found it at 5 pm. and it made my son happy. These guys are awesome. As long as they are around i be renting from there. 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
Before the Cedar Park location was closed, I loved my RAC experience. They always worked with me if I had to pay a little late, but I always paid. I was a loyal customer for many years. That has come to an end. I tried going to the Round Rock location, but even if I was one day late they turned from nice guys to condescending and rude. I think it was the GM that had good customer service skills, but the others need a few lessons. I pride myself on my good customer service with customers and it always astounds me when employees treat people like the way they did my mom and I. I would advise not going here if you might ever be a little late because youll be treated the same way. We had enough, gave the chair back and found one a lot cheaper on Letgo app. Try there or Offer up if you need something. Good luck!

Unprofessional and no damn coordination. Gone up there 3 times and still my issue has not beeb resolved. Above that without no note whatsoever started charging me 30 dollars for a membership and insurance which i i nev agreed to.Definitely do not bring your business here. Im highly dissapointed with overstock selling out to rent a center
ROYCE AND BRYAN ARE AWESOME TO WORK WITH..... I HAVE PURCHASED A 70 INCH TV, LIVING ROOM SET AND REFRIGERATOR. UNFORTUNATELY I WILL NO LONGER BE PURCHASING THERE DUE TO THE NEW STORE MANAGER DAVID. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE NOT GOOD.

MIKE has the WORST customer service! He is pushing all of your customers away.... he doesnt help. Says he will call you when he doesnt. He is very bad at his job where there is LOTS of customer service!!!
If you are late watch out completely non understanding to the fact that u need to make a payment arrangement for a different day. I was not even a full week late and they said they had to pick up their tv even though I wanted to keep it and work out a payment arrangement for a different day which wasnt even that far away it was within a week but apparantly thats just not workable.They dont even wait for u to be late to start calling. I have dealt with alot of other companies like them that dont check credit and they have always been understanding when needing to make arrangements. So if u plan on being on time every month go ahead but if u are ever late watch out they care only about their payment not whats best for u and your situation. This place is completely unproffesional even with delivery they came right before 4 which was the time frame they gave me 2 to 4 so I had to wait 2 hours even though I stressed the importance of not being able to wait to 4 cause it was summertime and my kids wanted to watch tv. All they were delivering was a tv that would have easily fit in my suv so it was frustrating not being able to walk out the store with it. Trust me save yourself the time and go with a store that actually wants u to keep your merchandise and is willing to work with u.
I am renting from them and as long as u pay u will not have a problem.

Worst customer service ever. The staff (Selena in particular) are unfriendly, rude and disorganized. Do yourself a favor an go to Buddies or Aarons.

My wife bought from them the entire time I was overseas. A fridge, washer, dryer and dresser. They changed managers apparently. When I went in with my wife to buy a new living room suite, they treated her like she had never been a customer and wanted her to begin the entire process over. We will Not be returning.
