Shady company!! Best advice is DO NOT bid or buy from Tx Auction Co (TAC). I won a welder and paid to have it shipped ($571 total). When it arrived there was absolutely no packaging to protect it from shipping damage. It arrived broken and in pieces. I contacted TAC and provided photos they assured me Fed Ex would reimburse me. I spent several hours on the phone with Fed Ex and they only covered $100, because TAC failed to declare a higher value on the package - even though they told me it was insured for $600. When I contacted TAC again, they said there was nothing else they could do. Their incompetence cost me over $450!!

I am very frustrated with this company. I purchased almost a thousand dollars worth of items from this company. They operate out of several different places. I drove from Houston to pick up one batch. They only gave me part of my order. I realized the error and have tried now, for 2 weeks to reach their Round Rock Store, to no avail. They post their hours as 9-4:30, but when I call, they wont answer the phone!. Their voice mailbox is full, so I cant leave a message. The home location answers the phone but has not been helpful with resolving the issue. So in a nutshell, I spent 6-7 hours driving to get 1/2 my order, and now cant reach them. Im praying that I dont have to litigate this. Ill post a follow-up as this plays out. Maybe just miscommunications.. BTW, I bought another batch of equipment from TAC (from a different location) and am waiting for shipping info a week later.../. These folks sell a lot of equipment, I hope Im the only one having these kinda problems. JW Perkins

Had to adjust the exhaust valve on my generator, but it runs like a top!

Bidder beware. Many of these items were returned after heavy use and might start or run but not very well. I bought a generator that would start, but oil leaks profusely from the motor. And an air compressor I bought does turn on and starts building pressure, but shuts off at just 40 lbs. The items I bought weret returned because the buyer changed their mind; they were returned because they were abused and/or do not work correctly. Unfortunately, the only time I bought anything from this site I bought over a dozen items and it was a very expensive lesson. Also, the other reviews for this outfit make it seem like a nice place to do business with, but its just a little, one-door hole-in-the wall in a run-down strip of warehouses. I tried calling several times and left messages prior to going to pick up and they never called me back. They got me. Dont let them get you, too.

I really enjoy every experience at Texas Auction Company. From the presentation of the items on the website to the pick up process. Always fast and courteous. Even were able to do a split payment. Thanks a ton!

Beware, these guys sold be 4 products and all of them were defective and the would not even consider refunding even a portion of the $100 bucks I was out.. A very very bad business model.. Buying from them is like Russian Rolette.

I won a few items at this auction. A shop vac, shelves and a ceiling fan. The owner and staff are so nice! They helped me, answered all my questions. The fan is beautiful, the shop vac had every attachment and the shelves are great!! I recommend Texas Auction Company and Im looking forward to their auctions this year!
